The airport staff was very helpful and kind the Dr was very thorough and knowledgeable she showed me the pictures of the back of my eyes and explained every thing we were looking at it was a very pleasant experience and was the kind of service that you dont normally get anywhere else thank-you

Excellent place for eye care. Very protective about Covid. Staff was super friendly. Waiting time was short. Dr. Paul Kennedy was very professional and explained what he was doing and what your results were. Will definitely go back. 😃
I read all the negative reviews sitting in the waiting room, but apparently there is a whole new batch of people here. No wait for appt time; Office staff were all friendly (Debbie, LeAnn); and Dr. Kennedy was clear and expansive about my eye situation. Also very personableAll good.
Need a NEGATIVE count of stars. We are existing customers and realize that CV19 has changed a lot of things. They were unwilling to provide a few sample pairs of disposable contacts to get us through until THEY had time for us. They have been unwilling to provide chart details to the optician willing to give us an appointment, so we dont even have a starting point with the new office! They do not care about eye health if they want us to continue to wear an old pair of disposable lenses. This office has PLUMMETED downhill in the past 18-24 months. AVOID them at all costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The staff there is always great to my children and I. Its a very clean office, and has very clean equipment. The doctor is GREAT with his patients.. Im pleased with my visits there.
This is one of the most uncaring and unconcerned eye physician I have ever met in 25 years of needing eye care.Not only is he rude to individuals who are not fortunate enough to have commercial insurance but have government insurance, his staff do not take ownership for appointments that they cancel and they put that on the patient. If you follow through with your own questions and concerns when the doctor doesn’t really go over specifics about your eyes with you, wants to take his time getting prescriptions to you, getting appointments for patients, he decides he doesn’t “want to see you anymore”. I’m assuming he feels like you’re a “problem” client because you’re proactive about your own eyecare and he wants to do things on his own time since he is the “owner“ of the eye vision center as he has.At the time I had to see this doctor, I had no other option at the time, come to find out he has a very bad reputation so does the staff.
This place sucks!!! Showed up early and have had to wait 1 hour just to get in a room. And had people come in after me that went right in. Come on people we have other responsibilities. I will definitely find somewhere else to take my kids!!
After paying $250 for an eye exam and a single pair of childrens glasses, they wouldnt give me my daughters prescription to order back up glasses off the internet. We will be looking for a new eye doctors office, loved the doctor there, however I refuse to do business with them until their policies updated.
This place is the most uncaring uncompassionate place everrrrrr -10 for them if I had that option. I had to schedule and cancel 24 to 48 hrs in advance appointments for my kids due to my husband and my work schedules with being different shifts plus having 3 kids in 3 different schools makes it extremely hard to schedule with the times. I called today to reschedule and they offer me an earlier time which obviously wouldnt work. I understand a business no matter what kind it is runs with money obviously, but the nasty most rude unprofessional receptionist told me after I try to schedule my 7 year old eye appointment that she couldnt give the afternoon time because I cancel and there business loses money like this. Like maybe if she explain it in a nice manner i would of definitely understand, but the way she responded was so but soooooo unprofessional no wonder they have so many bad reviews I would never step a foot in that place. The doctors are nice, but they should hire receptionists that can actually sound CARING!!! over the phone I regret going there and taking my children especially having 2 of them who are Adhd and one in the autism spectrum because God forbid of you made a sound in there waiting area they would give you the look. I will make sure no one that I know waste there time going to Sussex vision. I should of listen to all these reviews.
Let me just start by saying the doctor was great. Very friendly and helpful. Thats where the positives end. The ladies working behind the counter are all terribly rude. They also are not on the same page with any information they give you. If you go there one day, they may tell you one thing, but you go there again and talk to someone else they will basically call you and liar and tell you they would never say something lik that. This, among several other issues, is the reason i am taking my business elsewhere after well over 10 years of going there.
Pretty upset mostly just about how long it has taken to get my glasses. I had an appt on January 2nd. It is now January 18th and my glasses still arent ready. I have called several times. Been told it will take 7 to 10 business days... I have also been told theyd most likely be ready today.... I was told theyd call me to let me know if anything changed about not being able to get them today, which i was not. I called them. There was one lady that checked the lab for me, which then she let me know that there was an issue and that theyd rush them... I had a great experience with the appt. Picking out the glasses. It would just be nice to rely on information given to you pertaining to the glasses, and it would actually be nice to be able to have my glasses. I now have to wait another weekend for my glasses. I also called, not angry but a little upset and was told they have no control over the glasses that its the lab. Welp, i would have liked a little more help with figuring out whats going on, and why there was a pile on the desk today.. That didnt include mine? Just frustrated.
The doctor is completely rude, will never go back. Gets frustrated with little kids should only be a doctor of older.
Constant time changes 1 month 9-5 M-F. Next time 9-5 3 days a week you guess which days.
Office staff very rude, the woman who answered the phone told me I had to be there in 4 minutes. I am a totally disabled veteran and they had no respect for me. I said I was leaving my review and they stated they didnt care about their reviews on online. People that treat customers like Sussex Vision doesnt know what customer service is all about. I will pass the word along to other people.
