You can’t even return anything and get your money back. I bought something and found out it wasn’t the right thing and they could only give me store credit and it wasn’t even 24 hours from when I bought the item. If your store is that broke to give a refund why even stay open I don’t ever see anybody there anyways lol. Another reason to just shop at Amazon.

I like this little shop! Its one of those places I do not mind taking my kids when they want to exchange or get a game. For me.... Its kinda nostalgic, being the 80s baby that I am...

I called to ask the manager a question, was greeted very rudely and when I asked politely to speak to the manager, without putting me on hold, I heard her say hey do you want to speak to telemarketers. The manager said no and she reported back to me saying rudely again He doesnt want to speak to you Needless to say these employees should not be working in customer service if they plan on speaking to customers that way.

This is the worst customer service I have ever had! The employee there are very rude and extremely not helpful. I have called the Mgr and he said he would discuss the situation with the female but, never asked was there anything he could do to make my experience better. I will not be back in this store and will be calling someone higher up.

This game store has just about everything, from rare cards to games I havent seen in years I recommend this place if you are a gammer

Ive been shopping at Game Xchange for years having spent well over a thousand with them (have the receipts to prove it). This is the first bad experience with them. First off, theyre retro games have become absolutely filthy. It took 10 cutips to clean what I got tonight. The employees just sit there when they could get cleaning. Second, they have had signs up for All games under $9.99 are buy 2 get 1 free. This is absolutely false. I bought six $7.99 and under games thinking Id get 2 free, but no the deal isnt true. They told me after Id paid that NES, SNES, and N64 games dont qualify. None of the signs say anything about that. Of course, Id already paid and they dont do refunds just store credit. What a bait and switch. Ill probably just switch to ebay and garage sales from now on.

This place has a very meh selection of games, you are better going to gamestop. They do take older systems which is nice. What really bothers me is that some things are not priced and they will have to look it up online and make you pay the most.

I just love this place. The guys are so sweet they even remember your name. Everytime I go in they welcome me with a smile. Great group of guys.

Way more to offer than game stop and better prices

“We give more for your trades” not the case. I took in more than 50 Blu-ray’s, 6 PS4 games, a XBOX one controller, and two other accessories and after waiting over 30 minutes for someone to even start helping me they offer me $65 bucks for it all! Most of the Blu-ray’s they were offering me 12-35 cents for them. It’s no surprise that they don’t have anything in the store worth buying. You’d have to be an idiot or really hard up for money to sell anything to them. No way I’ll ever waste my time or shop at this place again. Look for this place to go out of business soon.

Enjoyed/loved the refreshing amount amount of collectibles, Compared to the game x change in my home town. But when I asked a question about if they had anything of a certain character. I was met with an I Dunnno, webdont keep a physical inventory. Which im sure is true, but u got noooo idea? Orrr where i might could look. No complaints with the location just the staff.

My sister is medically exempt from wearing a mask they were rude to her about it! Game X Change is never getting my family’s business again.

Terrible refund policy and inflexible employees; they wouldnt let me return an unused, unopened cable which they misled me to believe did a certain thing, when in fact it did not. I had the receipt with me and it had been ~24 hours since I had made my purchase.

One of the only places locally that carries games for older systems. Also has a great selection of DVDs, Blu-ray and vinyl.

This may be the best video game store around. They have great game prices (new, old & ancient), cheapest amiibos, movies, comics, accessories, vinyl records and anything else you can think of but not to the point of annoyance that some nerdy stores tend to be. Its very casual and employees are very nice (unlike the cocky know-it-all GameStop employees).

Terrible. Worse than gamestop. I made a cash purchase and the item didnt work properly so I returned it literally 1 hour later. They would not give me my cash back even though they say a 90 day return policy. So instead of refunding me, I had no choice but to receive store credit!! I SPECIFICALLY asked the guy I purchased it from if it were to be defective, could I return it. He said yes, but failed to let me know that cash back is not an option. Only store credit. To say the least, I will NEVER return there. Even gamestop gives u your money back and they suck!!! I highly recommend bypassing this place

This is the best retro game store in the B/CS area, hands down. Every time I come in, Im impressed with their selection and even more by their prices. They usually have pretty uncommon games and accessories, and if they dont, the staff is knowledgeable about workarounds or where to find them. Theyve even called me a few days later to let me know that something came in. Thats good customer service. They also know a lot about hardware and games. I will definitely be shopping here first every time.

Best game store Ive been to hands down. They take special care of all of their products, specifically by shrink wrapping and using a great labeling system. When you buy used games, they put them through a $1000+ CD buffer cleaner and makes them like new. If your game doesnt work when you get home, theyll exchange it, no questions asked. Im so glad Ive got this place over my old GameStop back in Houston. Keep it up guys, cheers!

This is probably the best place to buy used DVDs, Blu-rays now that Hastings is closed. Has many used games for consoles, but the prices are not competitive with GS. Customer service varies from ambivalent to helpful. Im sure if they get better help behind the counter, they would not miss out on the sales I have seen walk out the door.

I love going here for the DVD specials. Usually you buy 2 and get one free. During Christmas time, I believe if you buy two you get three or four free!

Some games are a good price, but Walmart will sell a new one lower then there used one. You just got to look around.

They have good games and movies that I wont deny but if you ever consider buying a system or accessories from them, make them test them there and show you that it works. An incident occurred with something I purchased from them and they admitted to me a customer that management doesnt make them check all the equipment and accessories. Lets just say I lost a full hard drives worth of data due to the faulty equipment I was sold...

Cheap store with a wide variety of games (and probably movies) their buy 2 get on free on $7.75 and under is addicting although I wish it was buy 2 games get a game thats under $7.75 free, id definitely buy more games there, like the entire fire emblem series. Just food for thought.

While I realize inventory is important, customers wont come back if they are ignored and then treated like theyre a bother.

This business is THE PLACE to go for used games or consoles. Better prices here than anywhere else in town. Gamestop for example you can buy a game from them for $60 and sell it back a week later (store credit only) for $25. Game X Change same game you pay $60 for theyll give you $50 cash or $55 store credit. (Making a general statement) Point being is there is a lot more wiggle room with this place than Gamestop. Locally owned too. Never had a single complaint with them. Give them a try. You wont be disappointed.

Awesome game store! They have a massive selection of games and games systems ranging from classic systems and games to the current generation. Game X Change has a big selection of movies and video game accessories as well. I was able to find a rare original Xbox game that I had spent many years looking for Conker Live and Reloaded. Every time I visit the store its pure nostalgia and brings me back to when I was kid renting games for my PSone from the old blockbuster that was in the same location. If you are looking for a good game Game X Change is a great place to check out

They are okay, the service is not that great. The items they have to sell are tremendous but the customer service makes it difficult to come back.

Got a newer kindle paperwhite for about 40 bucks. They did not properly label the model or years for what they had available but they were nice enough to plug them in and charge them so we could figure it out. Decent selection of retro games.

Definitely the place you want to come for all your gaming needs from oldschool consoles and more I know the whole staff here and they all are very nice and well knowledge on their products they also have all types of movies as well you can buy and trade your things you dont wont.

More Awesome Than Ever!

So I used to work at this store about two years ago, I was in town for work and went in for old times to see if anything caught my eye. My fiancé and I found some skylanders figures with a B1G2 offer. We picked six and went to check out. Now one of these figures was the promotional skylanders bowser supercharger that came with a new copy of skylanders superchargers or it could be purchased as a bundled character with the vehicle. The employee Josh told me that the figure was an amiibo and not a skylander. I corrected him saying actually it was a promotional character sold with the starter pack for Superchargers. He told me I was wrong..... Now I worked at a Gamestop for 7 years and was employed there when this figure was released, I’m very aware of what it is. He proceeded to show me how it could change by rotating the base piece. He said so what are you going to do. (With nostrils flared and a bit of a tone) I told him I still wanted to buy it.My point is that if this is how there going to treat customers that know better what are they doing to customers that done know any better. This store has clearly gone down hill.

Got a 360 and the dude at the counter completely lied to my face saying they test the xboxs to make sure they work and when i got home the disc drive would even open. Do not trust this place

Every time I go here they have mostly of what I want but its a little expensive like a ps3 is 90 dollars while at cash American pawn its 45 dollars. Id just rather go to fx across the street. Plus its hard to drive to.
