Ok selection but prices tend to be way over market. And Im not talking about a few points... more like 15% to 20% higher than nearly everyone else. Convenience is the main reason to go there.

Service, service, service. Bear creek is a specialty store where staff can walk you through a party, wedding, big or small event, and cater to what you will need. The owner is on site and his care shows towards every customer.

Staff is always nice, people complain about prices but they do price match. I read one review of a lady complaining about masks. I appreciate the fact that they arent playing world police like Wal-Mart. I believe everyone should be able to be an adult and choose if they want to wear a mask or not. Secondly the employees usually wear one anyways and if they choose not more power to em. I would hate to wear one for a 8 to 10 hour shift all day. Plus they also offer drizzly for u germafobe weirdos. Cheers!!!

Although overpriced just a tad - they have a great selection. When I want to try something new they have no problem opening up a bottle and letting me try it. Nicest service! The latest was the Saregetti African Class Cream. If you haven’t tried it - go get yourself a bottle. It was their suggestion and it’s my new addiction.

Establishment is clean and nice and has a great layout!The owner actually asked if we needed help. We told him we were looking for Malibu Red, the one with tequila in it. When he didnt have it in stock, he called another store and located it for us as well as looked it up online. Turns out it had been discontinued! We ended up getting something else, but were still happy with our experience!

Consistently overpriced- I want to shop here due to its proximity to my house, but they have priced me out. Best to look elsewhere. The are routinely 25% over what I find around the corner.

This is not you regular liquor store. It is beautifully decorated plus there is amazing art work through out.. I was shocked when I saw the variety of wines and cheeses. Much more than you expect. It is a nice surprise.

Decent liquor selection. Excellent beer selection. But the place is a little overpriced. I prefer Halls on Glade as an independent. And if youre looking for a chain with big selection and better pricing, try Goody Goody just up the road (ok, several miles up the currently pain in the backside, under construction, road) or Specs (for really good prices, but none in the immediate area). I did used to stop at Bear Creek after dropping my kids off at my ex-wifes house when I really needed a drink. (After dropping my kids off at my ex-wifes - if you know what I mean). I went right past it, and it called out to me! So the prices arent that bad. And the folks here were always helpful. This place is located in a really upscale neighborhood where a dollar or two is less than trivial.

Full disclosure: Today is the only instance in which I have shopped at this establishment.I stopped in here today on my commute home for a single handle of Captain Morgan (silver spiced) due to the route Waze sent me. After having not paid much attention to pricing in the aisle, I was stunned at the register when it rang up at $38 and change. Specs in Westlake prices the same unit at ~$22.I expect to see prices range +/- 20%, and I would probably not even comment at 30%, but 78% seems punitive. This is an affluent area (then again, so is Westlake), so perhaps +78% is considered a reasonable convenience fee by their normal clientele. As for me, Ill drive an extra 8 miles to save $16 from now on.

Love the older gentleman who works there. He really led me who is a non drinker to just the right drink and what I wanted.

I can confirm, checked it out today, Goody, Goody up the street is much cheaper. Crown 1 Liter $46.99 versus $37.99, Baileys 750ml $28.99 versus $20.98 and 1.75 Liter $38.99 versus $32.99 and McCormicks (Irish cream) 750 ml $12.99 versus $10.99.

I wish the store clerks would wear masks. Two people behind the counter tonight with no masks. I mentioned to my spouse who is a regular and he noticed same issue on previous visit. 😳

This is such a gem. I found flavored sake, traveler ready pods for margaritas and other mix drinks, just add them to a liquor and have a mix drink and the wine selection is amazing!

Ill come back but the selections werent as varied.

As one of the first full-service fine wine and liquor stores at the beginning of the wet era, this store has achieved an ambience that reminds of the neighborhood vinters I knew in Italy in my childhood. Has all of the familiar labels, but also has rarely found labels. Plus una formaggeria buonissima.

Went to this store because I purchased a Groupon for a limited edition bottle, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Its about 2 and a half miles from the highway exit which made it a bit difficult to find, but overall I had a great experience and will definitely return.

Friendly people in store that I work next door too! I came in after a hard days work at dry cleaners in back of house and was just as welcome as the other people that was nicely dressed and shopping.
