This place is a awesome experience. Its a old gas station turned into a restaurant. We got there as soon as it opened and they were packed within the hour. The tables have paper for the kids to color on which I thought was a genius idea. I got the duck and it was tender and juicy and delicious. My husband got the blood Mary which there known for. It was well worth the visit.

I really wanted this place to be awesome. I’d heard about it for years and maybe it couldn’t live up to the hype. But the shrimp in the shrimp etoufe still had the shells. My wife got the chicken Parmesan and it wasn’t that good. Noodles under a chicken and cheese and I’m not sure if they forgot the sauce or if it was just how much they put on it.

First I have to say...this place is unassuming from the outside. But when you crest the doors and feel the atmosphere things change. You will question the hype. There is no hype. Chefs Point is down to one thing...amazing food. From the stuffed mushrooms, to the wine... and the main course. Just amazing.

Ok soooo obviously this establishment use to be a gas station ⛽ but they did wonderful things with it to turn it into a restaurant. They have a in door and out door option when it comes to eating. They extended the building making the inside much more spacious. The outside patio is absolutely marvelous with of course with misters to keep you nice and cool during those hot summer days. Me and my husband were from Florida and we saw there best bloody Marys on review and we had to come here and let me tell you they did not disappoint when it came to the presentation.

Drink machine was down so there were literally no beverages. Out of ox tails or no longer sale but have it on the menu. Same with fried green tomatoes. We ordered go blackened salmons and they both literally came out with 2 different sauces. The fried chicken was horrible and flavorless. The duck was fried well but literally had no seasoning. The lobster Mac and cheese came out with huge slices of bacon in it but it’s not listed to have any bacon. We wouldn’t have ordered it had we known. The only good item was the Italian nachos . Don’t waste your time or money

Service was fantastic! Super cute patio environment. The food concepts were great... the execution was so so.The barramundi was excellent. The accompanying pasta was bland. My husband had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was dry and under salted and the waffle was meh. Like a toaster waffle. The $35 bloody Mary was a super fun idea. But again was not executed properly. Dry chicken, dry burger, awesome potato fries, and the shrimp was spot on. The drink itself was underwhelming. Whatever was on the rim of the glad was soooooo good.

Unassuming location from the outside. Used to be a gas station or at least part so its easy to miss. Inside is lovely. Everything about this place is different than what you might think. The menu is definitely bold. Had the Italian nachos, sexy fried chicken (yep you read right), and bread pudding. Service was excellent. One of my new favorite places. Its not cheap. Be prepared to spend around 15 dollars per entree. Dont let that turn you off from trying this place at least once.

$100 meal that tastes and feels like $30. Let me explain. Food came out cold, poorly seasoned and tasted mass produced. That is ok if you are eating at olive garden, but this is twice the price. Shrimp and Grits for $23 but it only had 4 shrimp... comon. $40 duck plate and they skimped on the pasta...comon. And low quality paper napkin, for this price of meal it should be a cloth napkin. Not what it used to be.

I was incredibly disappointed today, we’ve dined here several times before and decided to take my son for his b-day certainly the worst meal I have had. It took a long time to receive our meals and the restaurant was practically empty. I ordered the shrimp and grits the 4 shrimp I received on my plate were small and rubbery and the amount of grits I received on the plate was enough to feed 20 people. My son had chicken and waffles the chicken was dry. My other son had the duck plate and that was again terrible tasting and cold. So disappointed will not be dining here again. The only good part of the dinner was the bread pudding and the waitress. Bless her heart she was sweet. I caution you should you decide to still try. Sad to see this go down! 😔

We haven’t been to Chef Point in well over a year. We went tonight and it has really gone down hill. There were only 2 other families in the entire restaurant around dinner time. There were a good amount of staff standing around talking. The atmosphere has changed and it seems a little run down now. They were out of all soda products and their Sunday menu was very limited. We ordered the lobster bisque in a bread bowl for an appetizer. The soup was good but it had random fettuccine noodles in it. My child ordered the kids chicken fingers and the chicken was just a sliced chicken breast they use for the chicken parmigiana. The fried chicken was very bland and the mashed potatoes/gravy was cold. The bill for our mediocre dinner was $77 without tip. I don’t think we will be back again.

Their brunch was really good. Had the lobster mac and cheese and it was really creamy and had flavorful lobster 😋 the mimosas came with 4 different juices (watermelon, peach, prickly pear and mango) that werent overwhelming at all. I had the shrimp and grits and the shrimp were huge and they made it with an egg which was a little different but turned out to be really good but overall it was missing a good creole kick. Plus the shrimp and grits shouldnt be priced for $24, just a little too high for a basic dish that slightly missed the mark (my sisters chicken and waffles tasted great though). Then I had key lime pie that was AMAZING, homemade and tasty! Really good meal, would definitely go back.
