After going to Walmart (donuts at 10 am), Kroger (I didn’t see any donut display case), and Sams (out on vacation) we made our way here. Wonderfully nice staff. They had one Bavarian upfront and said they could fill another two so I could get three total. But when I looked inside the box, one of the donuts looked all messed up. Almost like it had been dropped. I’m sure it wasn’t but it just looked that bad. You can see the photo with the cream oozing out and the chocolate all smeared up. It was one of the donuts on the top of the box. And closing the box wasn’t the issue as there was only a tad of cream stuck on the box top (see photo). Not sure why anyone would knowingly put a broken up donut like that into the box. Also the Bavarian filling was very minimal too in all 3 donuts. I was hoping it would just be one of them. But it wasn’t. I’d say it was about a teaspoon of cream. The cream oozing out of the broken one was about all there was in that donut. Really very minimal. I’m sorry. Some places really fill it up but the filling here was just at the front where the hole is. Donuts tasted good though. Very fresh. I really wanted this place to be fantastic. But that’s what we experienced and I’m just sharing our experience for others. It sounds like the owner really cares about their customers experience as they replied suggesting that we could have asked for a refund or replacement rather than leaving this honest review. That’s great to see. Not all owners do that. But what I really prefer is good service, the first time done right so I don’t have to complain. I hate doing that. It is really taxing and uncomfortable. It ruins the whole experience (and day). If you don’t mind taking the time and energy to do that, though, from the owners reply it sounds like they’d remedy it.
Love their donuts and great selection...but ONLY IF YOU GO EARLY. I dont understand why their hours are til 11 am during the week and 12 pm on weekends, but if you show up past 930 then they are almost out of everything. This has happened to me numerous times. Today was a school holiday and I showed up at 10 am to an empty donut case :(Then we have to settle for Sams donuts which we dont like as much.

This is the closest to Gibsons donuts that you are going to get!!! My family loves it here!! This is my morning stop before work/school!

The donuts, fritters & kolaches from this place are simply delish! Even better... the owners are kind, generous & very community and people oriented. Collierville couldnt have a better donut shop represented in the community! BTW... the apple fritter Im holding is 6 inches wide x 2 inches thick AND chock full of apples w/ribbons of sweetened cinnamon lacing thru the cakelike fritter! Absolute heaven if you dont like your fritter drowned in glaze.

Have been to a birthday party here with our daughter and absolutely loved it. Our daughter ended up having so much fun that we did her birthday party here as well. The owner/host of the party is very nice and extremely interactive with the kids and has them all laughing and having fun. And the donuts and giant donut birthday cake are delicious.
The best tasting Donuts in town! They have a very big variety of different donuts to pick from. Plus all the regular donuts you are familiar with including Donut holes! Super friendly staff as well. The owner Rick, is also very nice and very helpful. These cupcake shops around town have nothing on the DONUT HUTT!
WOW!!! We had our daughters birthday party at the Donut Hutt this afternoon and boy was it FUN! Rick kept the kids (and parents) entertained and engaged! I had no idea making donuts could be so exciting! And the best part - No Cleanup!! Thanks Rick and awesome staff for throwing an amazing party and making my birthday girl feel so special! I highly recommend this venue for all ages!

Great place! Social distance spacing and the kolaches are best this side of Texas. My daughter liked all the kid themed donuts, Donut Elmo, Sprinkles, spider webs, etc.

Came in with a serious craving for Kolaches and despite being sold out the owners/staff were extremely kind and accommodating by making it happen any way and they were AMAZING! Im new to the area from Dallas, TX where Kolaches are everywhere but not as good as these were!Donuts were very tasty along with speedy and fantastic service!Showcase has a beautiful variety and the facility is very clean with lots of seating.

I frequently stop by on weekday mornings for donuts. The donuts are always fresh and so tasty. The cronuts on Saturdays are a MUST try. There is usually a short line but they are efficient and its always moving quickly. Recently, I had my daughters birthday party here and it was SO wonderful! The owner himself does the parties and he was so good with the kids. They get to go back in the kitchen and make donuts, it was so much fun-- I can even see myself enjoying an adult party/ladies night there! If I could give more than 5 stars I would-- every bit worth the money and great customer service.

I celebrated my son’s 5th birthday here and was overwhelmed by the hospitality and professionalism that the staff at Donut Hutt showed us. Mr. Rick was absolutely phenomenal with the kids and his energy never wavered throughout the event. With a group of 10+ kids, you can imagine how hard it can be to keep them all engaged, but Mr. Rick knew exactly what to do! I also have to add, that the donuts are some of the best I’ve ever had!!

I attended a kids birthday party at Donut Hutt this evening and it was an excellent event. The kids were engaged, entertained and learned how the donut making process works. The Donut Man did a great job! Would certainly recommend the event as a party option.
Great donuts but more importantly, a great family place. You can sit with your kids and enjoy a donut with them. Also, various other breakfast items, as well as donut birthday parties that are tons of fun!!

I called in a same-morning order for 12 kolaches in the middle of prime time for breakfast places, which was poor planning/etiquette on my part. Not only was the woman there accommodating, but she also rolled them fresh for me even when there were some already made in the warmer! She was friendly and didnt give me any grief. Other customers were still filing in while I waited for my order, and her service was swift. Donut Hutt was already a favorite breakfast destination of mine for the food, so the fantastic service is just the icing on the donut! (Pro-tip: the jalapeno kolaches are the best!)

Came last Saturday for the cronuts. We tried all 3 (glazed, cinnamon/sugar, and maple). The regular glazed was my favorite, my girlfriend liked cinnamon best, but they were all really good. I liked the kolaches a lot, too.Very friendly owners as well.
Ugh. They are ruining my diet!!!! I get up ready to have a great productive day, THEN these donuts run through my head and BAM, my day is ruined.Maple Bacon is where its at and dont forget to add a jalapeno kolache or 3 (thank me later). Went for the Croughnuts.... They didnt have any. And its not that they had already sold out of them, they just didnt make any that weekend. Ended up getting a glazed and a chocolate glazed, they werent anything special. I wont be going back, ever. Instead of driving 20 minutes for a mediocre donut Ill drive 20 minutes to get a great donut at Gibsons.

I brought my baby by on Saturday 6.17.17 and the young lady that was working at 7:15am was so sweet to us. I felt welcomed from the time I walked in until I left. Not to mention the doughnuts were so fresh. So fresh that my baby tried her best to hold on to her Snickers doughnut all day long. Lol!

The donuts were great! Unfortunately, the service was, well, abrupt? (For lack of a better word) I googled best Collierville donuts and Donut Hutt had great reviews, so I decided to surprise my kids with a day out. I had high hopes from reading the reviews that this would be a great experience, but was underwhelmed with the service. My children even commented on it when we left. There was an exciting party happening, so I understand the only lady working the front counter was quite busy, but we felt as though we were intruding on a family event...quite uncomfortable, but I promised the kids a day out so we stayed. Upon entering, we greeted the lady at the counter with a smile and said weve never been, so we didnt know what we wanted. She said ok and walked away, no smile or let me recommend... She came back shortly after and took our order asking if it would be to go. We chose to stay, and lets just say she seemed less than amused. She took our drink orders grabbing the bottles quite quickly as though annoyed, and quickly returned to the back after we paid. Again, Im sure she was very busy, but a kind we have a party going on, please excuse my haste would have been nice. However, when her friend entered she stood and had a full conversation about her day. We left as soon as the last bite was taken and received no, thank you, come again or theres the door. Now, we did get dressed rather quickly, and looked as such. The kids had no idea we were going out until we drove up, so Im sure we looked like misfits, certainly not Colliervillian, but we had hoped for the fun, family experience mentioned in previous reviews. We will call ahead next time to see if they are busy, but I feel any future business will be taken to go or elsewhere.
