The shave butter is amazing! I thought this business was targeting the females but I was wrong; the beard oil was also something I will continue to use.Thank you cynplycity for not the men!
I personally am the worst shopper when it comes to buying for my wife, just happened to be working next door to Cynplicity, and the beautiful aroma cought my attention,so decide to look inside, and the owner was more than helpful in helping me with my purchase, she even made me a nice gift basket, long story short my wife was surprised and happy that i pick something that she really enjoyed and said it was of high Quality, thank you Cynplicity, ill be back
Tried the beard oil, was awesome! Really left my beard feeling nice. Totally would recommend 👍🏼
I’ve had one absolutely pleasant experience shopping here and then one nearly perfect, but then ultimately less pleasant experience. Here’s the full story:I went here to get a Christmas gift for my mom last year and purchased two bars of soap. They seemed good quality and were priced as you might expect handcrafted soap to cost. Those positive feelings were reaffirmed after hearing that my mom liked the soap. Also, the owner began a nice train of thought by asking me if I’d consider buying something for myself. I said no, thinking “Old Spice still gets the job done” and I still believe in that decision for myself. But now I’ve thought maybe, if I ever wanted to, I’d buy nice soap. That was definitely a positive experience, which inspired my second visit this year.Almost up until the end, you could definitely say that this year was an even better experience than last year. The owner asked my price point and who I was buying for, and suggested some cool products that weren’t just bars of soap. They were a different kind of soap and an aromatherapy product. She even gift-boxed everything up, making it a gift I’m looking forward to giving this year. But now I must deliver the dialogue which tainted the whole thing. *Warning* this contains paraphrasing.[it’s early November. we’re talking about holiday plans. the Owner had just said something about flying to see her children, if the airports don’t shut down due to COVID]Me: Yeah, it’s crazy what’s happened in the past two weeks, so who knows for the future.O: Do you believe it?M: Yes, a lot of extra people died this year, so I do.O: Do you know anyone personally whose had it?M: My friend’s mom died of it.O: Of COVID?M: Yes.I guess you can take what you want out of an interaction like this, but I walked out of the store in complete disbelief. Breathless. Upset that this kind business owner (she did give sympathy for the mom’s passing) apparently doesn’t believe in a disease that has killed so many people and hurt many more. The whole time I was being asked those questions, I’m thinking “What’s happening?” It was very unpleasant. The owner wore a mask the entire time in the store, so you might say to get over it, but I don’t feel like customers should be subjected to conspiracy probing while shopping.
Such a cute little shop! Every time I stop in it’s different. There are all kinds of bubbly bath products, and those natural sponges, too. Everything is made by the owner, so all questions are answered in detail.
Amazing! High quality hand-made products and nice staff. Will be coming here again. Five stars!
Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the soap is delicious lol. Love the bath bombs. My fav though is the raspberry deodorant; it doesn’t have aluminum or anything dangerous (like most deodorants in the US) but is actually effective at neutralizing my stinkiness. Most “natural” deodorant suck but this works great! And smells fruity :)
