Ordered a part for my dryer. They said it would probably be delivered in about 3-6 weeks but it came in less than one. I forgot to bring the dryer model number in when I came but she asked me to please call as soon as I got home and I did. This is the second time I have used this exact location, the first time my dad needed a part and the customer service is outstanding. Entering the location they are extremely friendly and give you everything you need. I will he back as soon as something else breaks in my house!!!!

This place is a blessing. I Own a Whirlpool stove that I have had to replace the heating element in 4 times now. This is the best place to go for a replacement for the element for this stove. The customer service is fantastic.

My wife and I bought a refrigerator and had it delivered. The delivery men were courteous, friendly, and on time. I like dealing with Billy Willis, the owner, and Jim the salesman.

As a general contractor working the Tri-cities area of Virginia, its sometimes difficult to find the parts needed for customers in a timely manner. What I love about The Appliance Place, is that they almost always have what I need in stock. And if not, its usually a two day turn around to get it. Dont bother with Lowes or Home Depot....youre wasting your time. As for pricing, you may get what you need or want at a cheap price, but remember, Amazon (sometimes) and ebay, etc, use 2nd and 3rd parties for buying and shipping. This means longer wait times and or taking the risk of getting a knockoff product. eBay especially is getting pretty bad with fake, cheap knockoff products from China and India and hackers getting info and stealing card information. I know, because I recently canceled my account with ebay over this very same thing. All that aside, I try very hard to use local business that arent conglomerates anyway. BUY LOCAL from people who give a darn and stop giving your money to large corporations that use YOUR money to bring down this GREAT country of ours.

I had an evaporator fan go bad in my GE refrigerator. I went online to find a new one, but shipping would take too long, so I called the Appliance Place. The lady who answered the phone quickly located the part & agreed to hold it for me. My husband went in to pick up the fan, the associate handed it right to him, & he was home in no time - fridge was up & running again in the same day. Very satisfied with the professionalism & ease of it all, & happy that they keep a variety of parts on hand.

I had gotten the run around from Conns for nearly a month, trying to get the new LG washer I bought delivered. Finally after several disappointing inter actions, I got my refund. My husband luckily found The Appliance Place online. We went in told them what I wanted, it took no time at all for them to find the perfect washer. They had my GE front loader in stock, it was larger than the LG I had previously ordered from Conns and it was less expensive. The staff helped us load it and we took it home the same day. The staff treated us like family. They we kind, attentive and courteous. GREAT place to shop. Outstanding serivce. ☆♡☆

Even when I had a problem they worked with me to fix it. Had placement issues with the washer and dryer they sold me, they made it easy to swap out and the installers were great. If I need appliances I will only get them from The Appliance Place.

I live in Florida and purchase a Speed Queen Washer by telephone and set a delivery date weeks later to be delivered on a specified date to a Powhatan, VA., address.They delivered on time, as requested. The delivery was flawless and everyone I dealt with were very nice including the two young men that made the delivery.I highly recommend using this business and I will again in the future.

Great staff and very knowledgeable. Lots of stock but due to COVID and dishwashers being purchased at such a high demand they were almost cleaned out of stock. Prices were a little higher than other locations but I would trust the staff to deliver and install uf I needed their assistance.

Reid (my salesman) was knowledgeable, friendly and flexible. Very short wait for delivery after purchasing my dryer. They service what they sell, which is a big plus for me. The 2 delivery men were superb. Very careful not to scratch the walls, etc. Very flexible—let me clean under the washer and dryer with no pressure. Cleaned up everything very well. Very friendly.

We just had a stove cook top installed. I want to say that we were very pleased with the whole process. The installers took their time and made sure everything was done properly. In the future any new appliances we may need we will be purchasing from The Appliance Place.

We had a small issue with a ceramic stove top unit that was 2 decades old. The parts department ordered the part based on my description of the issue and the most thorough and professional young man installed it and cleaned up completely before leaving.Planning on replacing my wall oven soon and this will be my first stop before shopping anywhere else.

Worst customer service team ever. Reid doesnt ever call you back. Bought a speed queen that started having a suds problem after 8 months. They claimed it was a plumbing issue at my house. No help, No offer to help, no test, nothing. Basically told me it was my problem. Gotta love companies that tell you what you want to hear to sell the product but when it comes time to help with the product they pretend they dont know you. Wouldnt spend a dime at this store again.

I spent almost 3 grand with them they canceled on me twice then the installer said he could hook up my water line come to find out he just didnt want to do it then they brought me the wrong stove I told them and they said it was the correct one on the ticket and I was shit out of luck never got a apology I prety sure most of the sales people are on drugs will never give them my business again

Although they ripped me off on a dryer belt, I couldnt have gotten it anywhere else. Online retailers didnt even have the belt I was looking for. They were knowledgeable, but you have to pay for that knowledge. Service was nothing to brag about, just average customer service.

The man who assisted us was not very good in CUSTOMER SERVICE skills, Should have gone to Lowes, He didnt tell us about the warranty, which is separate, and G paid the stove in full, I asked a few questions and he was rude and made me feel like I was bothering him, So I went outside,

They failed to fix my washer. They also failed to communicate the minimum service charge. The charge to come out and diagnose the problem was $75, and that was communicated to me, but after the technician cleaned out soap gunk from a reservoir inside the front of the machine and watched all points of the washing cycle (the whole process took no more than 15 or 20 minutes), the price given to me on the contract was $125. Only after he completed the task did he say that there was a minimum $50 service charge which to me was a little high considering so little work was done. I figured this wouldnt be too big a deal if the fix worked, but it didnt. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ran the machine through 3 or 4 cycles, but we had the same issue. I wrote them a message describing the problem and requesting a refund since they did not fix the washer. They called me and described that they could come back out and diagnose the problem for free. I explained that I did not want them to come back out because I already took off time from work for them to come out the first time, and since they didnt fix the problem previously, I would rather just get a refund and use that to go buy a new washer. Also even though they would do the diagnosis free, I knew they were going to charge me more money for whatever the real problem is, and since I can get a brand new washer delivered and hauled away (free) for $400 to $450, that does not make sense. I was nice enough to offer to buy a new washer through them if they could give me a refund or credit. The service tech called and explained that the manager would not give a refund but would give $30 toward a washer if I bought one through them. After speaking to the manager and explaining to him the situation that I was not happy with a $30 credit, he said he would see what he could do after I gave him the model number of the washer. I called him back with the washer model number, and he ultimately said he would give $20 more in credit and that he was docking the delivery fee even though it is normally $49 (this should not matter if he is trying to match the other stores who are offering free delivery and haul away). Ultimately the price was not any better than the other store. Why would I buy through him with all of the hassle and save no money, when I could just buy it through the other store)? I wrote this review because I gave them the opportunity to rectify the situation, and they could have easily just given me back my $125 or at least half of that (I told them if they couldnt give me a full refund, a partial one would be good), but instead they failed to fix the washer and failed to provide good customer service.

Much better place the deal with than the big box stores. They even service what they sell. Imagine that. Pricing is very similar to the big box stores as well.

Sales guy walked more through twice on the procedure for swapping out my dryers power cord. Very easy to do. Going back tomorrow to order an inlet valve.
