Having family in the business that have serviced my vehicles for over 15 years in Florida has risen my expectations and skepticism when it comes to finding trustworthy shops. Chris and especially Marcia obliterated those concerns upon speaking with them. Not only did they beat out two other quotes (considerably) but they were able to perform the work much quicker and under warranty. I will absolutely not hesitate to share and encourage business with them in the future. Ive found my place. Ive once again found my family shop.

After my first experience with Auto Clinic I would say I am very satisfied. I went to Auto Clinic with a check engine light on my 09 Wrangler. It is my first time using any Auto shop in the Springs after moving here last year. I decided to use Auto Clinic because I was impressed with the owner responding to reviews on Google. I saw most complaints were about communication with the customer. In the beginning I would agree with those reviews. I always had to initiate the contact and was told my vehicle would be ready at 11am on Wednesday. I never heard from Auto Clinic until I called Wednesday morning. They informed me it would not be ready because parts were delivered later which I completely understand. They never called Tuesday evening to inform me of the situation and was stuck without a car for one more day than expected. After talking with Chris the owner and explaining to him how I was not frustrated with the completion time but the lack of communication he apologized sincerely and said he is aware of the communication problem and is starting to implement new ways of communicating with the customer. Besides the communication problems that I know they are working on I would recommend anyone to use Auto Clinic. The staff is very friendly and enjoyable to speak with. They did a great job on my old beat up car and their price points are very comparable to a small auto shop. I do need to get more work done on my Jeep and plan on going back as soon as I have time to be without a vehicle again. Once the communication problem is completely resolved I would easily change this to 5 stars. Ive used a lot of small auto shops before where Ive lived and I know I found mine for Colorado Springs!

We were from out of town and we had some issues that arose with our car. They diagnosed the problem quickly and professionally. They didn’t attempt to fix problems that could be fixed in Texas but rather just to get us home safely. I appreciate their honesty and professionalism. They also tolerated our three kids and cartoons as we waited which was so appreciated by two stressed parents. We originally went to a place AAA recommended but they were honest and told us that they didn’t have time to see us and recommended Chris with Auto Clinic. Says a lot that a fellow professional recommended them as well.

I found this place on Yelp, and tried it out because of the good reviews. The staff is so friendly and inspected the rest of my car for any potential problems! The oil change was very reasonably priced and it was helpful that if they did find other things that would need to be fixed in the future they would price it out for you... staff is very conversational and did a great job. Will definitely be coming back!

My heater wasn’t working and the engine temperature was too high. I took my car here after another shop (Christian Brothers) diagnosed a blown head gasket and wanted $5000 after what appeared to be just a cursory visual inspection.Auto Clinic went over the engine with a fine tooth comb and found a couple of other causes but no evidence of a bad head gasket and saved me almost $4000. Definitely recommend them.

After initial suspicions that they were just another rip off shop, turns out they were the only honest shop I found in colorado springs. The work done on my 97 f 150 was nothing short of great. This business owner and staff are amazing. I ran into a problem with my vehicle in the middle of a trip, I had 100 + miles to go before I was at my destination and started hearing horrible noises in the front of my car. The owner came out and went on a short drive with me and we determined that the problem needed to be addressed before I could go any further. He was able to get me in within 30 minutes and worked with me on all the details. I highly recommend that you use this business, not only because it is locally owned, but because the service and experience is untouchable, Personable and reasonable.

I brought my van in for a transmission diagnosis. They tell me I need a new gasket and filter for the transmission and a battery cable to fix it after $800 later they then tell me I need a new transmission. Jessica at the front desk told me my transmission filter and gasket went great and we only had to wait a few days for the cable to come in. After the few days of waiting and then fixing the cable they then tell me I have a bad transmission. Very unprofessional I would recommend you to go to anywhere else because they are trying to get as much money as possible out of a customer.

I have been very happy with the service I receive from this shop. This last visit was a pricey one for me and they did everything they could to help keep the cost down. I never feel like they try to sell me anything I don’t need. I love this place!

Definitely recommend Auto Clinic for all your auto repairs. I only had a oil change and tire rotation, but during the time I was there, they were completely rewiring an older Bronco that someone else had swapped motors...it was a mess and they were making it right. They also had a few other vehicles in the shop for some major work, and all the customers that came and went....were highly satisfied. To top it off...they saved me about $75 on my work! Kudos to Jake, Justin and the rest of the crew!

My experience at Auto Clinic was great. I was looking to get an oil change near home...they had great reviews. Scott was super friendly and answered all my questions enthusiastically. My oil change seemed to be done in a timely manner. I’ve received a couple of emails since my visit. I actually really like the fact that Chris seems genuinely interested to be contacted with any questions or issues. Also letting me know how I can save money. I got great vibes from this place so I won’t hesitate to go back.

The work done was done correctly and when they said they would do it the only issue was that my doors were left unlocked and out in an open parking lot where my Jeep was ransacked and items were stolen.

Chris and his staff kept at a difficult electrical issue until they found it and fixed it. So great to have an affordable professional auto service, and they keep their word and warranty their work.

Wish we would have found this place long ago. They are such solid people at this location, which I feel like is hard to find in car mechanics. They even told my husband after the diagnosis what things weren’t super important to fix right now. That’s s breath of fresh air considering most car places seem to give you a long list and try to talk you into everything. I love the honesty here. And they do great work which is obviously a main factor.

Basic auto shop. Took my truck in at two oclock on a Wednesday. Just wanted my wiper motor changed and a diagnostic. I was told it would it be getting done at the end of the day. I never received a call back. I had to call at ten the next morning and found out nothing was started. After my truck was finished with just the wiper motor installed four pm the next day. I was told my front upper and lower hubs were going to run me 1500 dollars. Look I dont care for Big O tires but I was quoted 800 for the same job. Shop around for sure.

My family and I have came to Auto Clinic for about 4 years now. I personally have taken 5 vehicles in to them and always walk out satisfied. Anytime I purchase a new vehicle, this is the only shop I trust to do an inspection and give me the best quote on work needed. They are very friendly and always treat us like part of the family! My daughter also loves to go visit!

I was passing through town on my way from Indiana to Moab, UT when my clutch slave went out. Auto Clinic was able to get my jeep fixed on the Friday, July 4th holiday in a matter of hours. Incredibly professional and prompt service!

This place is amazing. No So I see they have stuck around more than 30 years they are fast reliable honest. Parts are reasonable. Labor cost is a bit high but worth the price. I had major issues the test drive pulled into stall examined and diagnosed. Then they said I dont owe them a dime. I will never go anyplace other than. Plus they treated me fair. Most shops talk to me lime Im stupid because Im a chick. I know more about cars than the average man. They respected that. And still explained what needed to be. Verry attentive and the place was nice and clean

Chris and his shop did an amazing job on my 09 BMW X5. From the start to finish the whole process was amazing. This is the 2nd time I have had the Auto clinic do work on 1 of my vehicles And I would recommend this place to my grandmother because I trust these guys. The staff was very nice and accommondating. They were able to diagnose my o2 sensor issue quickly and didnt force me to fix both. I was on the fence about doing both at once but Chris and his team were very nice when decided to just do the one.Im on a debt free plan and will continue to shop around but if costs come close Im going here. After going to a mechanic and being told I need both my front sway bar links replaced I stopped here to get a second opinion. They informed me that I only needed one and that they would give me a deal, the part itself was 25 dollars and my total bill for one sway bar replacement was 180 dollars. Yea, a little high. After pulling my vehicle out and not even getting to the stop sign I began to hear the same noise that had me bring it into the mechanic. Seeing as they were nice I let it go. I again visited Auto Clinic today to get my brake pads and rotors replaced. I left my vehicle there and waited a few hours until I got a call saying it was all set. When I showed up they told me that the rotor was too thick or something along the lines of that. They were unsure because they didn’t bother to troubleshoot the problem. They informed me that although the rotor was already being engraved by something on the vehicle that it should be okay to drive. Very hesitantly I drove my vehicle off the lot and could hear a loud clicking noise on the right side, as well as what almost sounds like radio static when i slow down. The brakes are sticking and clunking when I come to a stop. I called brakes performance to inform them that i May have be given the wrong parts but after pulling off my tires and given the parts numbers I found out that they were in fact the right parts. They gave me specific specs that I measured just to be sure. Brakes performance told me that the mechanic must have installed damaged hardware and that would be what is rubbing against the rotor. The told me that if it’s a certified dealer then they would replace it as any reputable company would. I was told brakes performance would send me a new rotor and hardware set and anything else I needed as far as product wise they would take care of. I called back auto clinic and asked if they would fix the issue and they refused. They told me that they don’t warranty custom parts. I didn’t ask for my parts to be paid for I asked them to fix the work they did as it was damaged before I pulled off of the lot. For Auto Clinic to send me away with unsatisfactory and unsafe work and then to refuse to fix it is unbelievable. Despite not fixing my issue with the sway bar i continued to give them another chance. Now they refuse to go 30 minutes in the hole in order to fix their own mistake. I’ll be sure to leave another review on Better Business Bureu as well as too let people know of the quality of work I received.In response to your reply: my issue is not that I’m looking for anyone to work for free but when you agree to instal the parts I provided and there is an issue with one side of the vehicle and not the other that would tell me that the parts aren’t bad but the work is. I verified the parts numbers shortly after leaving and they were correct. Whether it was a damaged piece of hardware or the installation was incorrect it doesn’t matter, it shouldn’t have been okayed to leave the lot. Personally I troubleshoot my work to ensure the product I’m putting out there is not defective or certainly not left in worse shape than it was when it was passed over. Safety is number one. I don’t believe you should pay money to have a new issue arise and that’s exactly how I felt and what happened today after leaving your shop. You go to a mechanic to ensure the work is done right. I have changed my pads and rotors in the past myself but would rather pay the extra to have the peace of mind knowing it’s done right and for me to have digging and clicking in a brand new installation is not satisfactory.I will remove this post once we get in touch.

Theres a reason they have a good rating, its because they deserve it! Thought my brakes needed servicing because of an occasional squeal but it turned out to be just the type of pads I have. They did a complete checkover of my vehicle and let me know the legitimate issues they found as well as estimates for each. Have been using them for years now and will continue to do so. Thank you!

I moved away from the springs in 2015, and I miss being able to take my car somewhere I could trust the mechanics. Jason was always incredibly helpful and respectful, and they never gouged me, a universal experience at other shops. If driving the two days back to Colorado were not counter productive for my car, Id do it for the peace of mind.

I recently had a radiator problem with my H2 and the Auto Clinic was my second opinion...I am soooo glad I got a second opinion! Pep Boys on Academy was going to charge me over a grand to replace it. I called a few different places then I got a hold of Chris, the owner of the Auto Clinic. What a nice guy! I dont want to talk about their prices on this review but trust me when I say that they had Pep Boys beat! With 5 minutes of online research we can find out a lot about a business or product so I believe these reviews are very important. With that said, I highly recommend this place! Chris and the mechanic I talked to(forgot his name) were both honest, polite, and just good guys. They even took time to answer a couple of questions I had when I picked up my truck. You guys did everything you could to fix PO300 code. Code went away when you remapped computer. Partly my fault because I was using cheap 85 octane unleaded. Turns out what was causing the code was a spark knock (Pinging via knock sensor) because of cheap 85 octane unleaded. Bottom line is my engine is an octane hog. Owners manual says premium unleaded only. I bought vehicle used and it didnt come with owners manual so I didnt know. Once I put in unleaded supreme(91 Octane) and reset computer that code has not come back and truck runs great. Will call on you guys again If and when I get a head scratcher like this one!

Called this morning and asked if they could get me in to fix my A/C. They fit me in today and it only took a few hours. They called me to update me and explained everything in a way that was understandable. Scott was the one who talked to me on the phone and then in the shop when I got there and he was super friendly and awesome. They didnt try to sell anything else and the entire experience was easy. Last summer I got my car fixed at one of the chain express places and they clearly didnt fix everything. Scott even told me to come back in a few days because they put dye in to make sure there are no other small leaks. You can tell they actually want to take car of the problem quality vs quantity! I will be taking my car here from now on!

We just had the water crossover gaskets replaced on my moms 2007 Impala at The Auto Clinic. I was more than impressed with the service Jason provided us. He was extremely detailed in the description of the process and the work that was completed. Exemplary customer service. The price was more than fair at $370 as Ive read others paying on average $400 to $500 for the same repair. Ive been looking for a new shop to take our cars to in the Academy/Austin Bluffs neighborhood and I think I found it. They seem like an old school shop that doesnt jack people around.

I first called auto clinic to see if they would charge me for diagnostics like brakes plus was going to charge me $85 and not even roll it into the repair. Jason The service manager was very polite professional didnt charge me a thing to diagnose the problem and it and end up saving me half of the amounts of money I wouldve spent at brakes plus they did a great job! Hade my truck back running within three hours and they were extremely organized and clean I was very impressed they ran a tight ship keep doing what you doing auto clinic greatthe job!

This is the best mechanic shop Ive been to in a long time. Had a pretty bad issue happen to me on the way to work. Called them that morning managed to nurse my truck in, it was leaking fluids all over thought I had blown a head gasket, anyway wasnt quite that serious but bad enough. To make a long story short they had it done by the end of business that day and for what I had to have done the price was affordable. Would definitely recommend the Auto Clinic to anyone I know or even just happen to hear needs auto repair. My truck is running like it was new and it has over 230,000 miles on it. Thanks to all the people over at Auto Clinic you guys are awesome.

Use to be an amazing service when Jason and Terry were the owner. New owner are not helpful and they increase their price. They have no loyalty to the customer who have been going there before changing owner. Miss old Jason.

Wow, was I happy to have stumbled upon this shop. After driving 2,000 miles from VT my car was having some serious issues. It appeared as though my car was going to need an entire new transmission, and Jason was able to track down multiple parts in order to give me a range on prices. I agreed with the estimate, but was astounded to get a call back from him after a day that in fact it was not the transmission. Upon further research they found out that my car (Suzuki Forenza) is notorious for issues with a small part that communicates with the transmission itself. This ended up saving me hundreds and hundreds of dollars off the original estimate. I am glad to have found a shop in a large city that has a small town feeling.
