Great guys and service who really worked with me and communicated promptly! They went the extra mile and stayed open for my business way past their normal business hours. When i picked up my car and after now driving to castle rock and back the next day. They fixed my very unsafe prior brake system condition. Replaced my booster. And checked my braking system to find further clogs all while keeping my final bill the same. These guys are great would highly recommend!!

I really appreciate that they do call-ahead appointments. That’s probably why I keep going back. Honestly they are always very busy, seems like they get a ton of customers, constantly! They are professional and very kind (almost too nice). I’ve done some work beyond oil changes and brake stuff here, they have decent prices, a little higher, but if you call around for quotes they will usually match the price. They do good work, I’ve never had issues. I’d prefer not to hang out inside if I don’t have to, but they keep it really clean and it’s not too bad. Definitely recommend.

This Brakes Plus location is the only place I trust to take my vehicle. I live 45 miles away but make the trip specifically because of the service I receive here. I am a longtime customer, following the General Manager, Brandon, from the 8th Street location to this Woodmen location because he is honest and trustworthy. I know if I have to have AAA tow my truck to this Brakes Plus, it will be fixed and fixed right the first time. Everyone Ive worked with here has been friendly and efficient. I highly recommend them for your automotive diagnostic and repair needs.

The office person was great. Company policy has lost me as a customer.I purchased the identical part, with same part number, to be installed at the local Advanced Auto parts store for less than half the price. The front office person informed me that company policy wont allow them to install the part because I purchased them.This company charges customers over double the price for parts as a way to make more profit.I wont be back.

I had booked an appointment for a brake estimate, however, when I got there, they did not have the reservation. No worries because Nick Darnell was there! They were very busy, but Nick kept a smile on his face and said, no problem, we will get you taken care of. After the inspection and estimate, I decided to get new brakes. Nick said since the car was already on the lift, that they could do it that day but it would take until after closing time. I didnt want to keep them late, but he said they had 2 other cars that were going to take them past closing time anyway, so I stayed. Every employee who came out in the waiting room greeted me and was friendly and the service techs got my car done only 25 minutes past closing time. I have used other Brakes Plus locations, but this one has by far friendlier staff. They are a busier location, but it is worth going to this one!

Made an appt. on short notice for an alignment right after I bought new tires across the street at Discount Tire. They got my vehicle in right away and it was a quick appointment. They could’ve been dishonest and said my vehicle was aligned and ready, but instead they told me I had a few things needing attention before they could align it and sent me out with no charge. Will be going back after I fix those things to get it aligned. Nice shop.

Called before I arrived and was told I would only need to drop my car off for a few hours to get my brake pads replaced. Same timeframe was given upon arrival. No worries. I couldnt go home, but I brought a book to pass the time with. It took them 3.5 hours before they even inspected my car because they misplaced the paperwork. I finished my book 2.5 hours in. 4 hours and I was finally given options, but the brake pads had to be ordered from another location down the road. After 5 hours and 45 minutes I finally had my car back. Very frustrating to waste your whole Saturday on something that took less than an hour to complete. Even more frustrating to see others arrive after you and leave before you. They dont even have a water supply in the lobby for customers so, I was dying of thirst for nearly 6 hours. I asked for a discount when it came time to pay and while I was given 25% off, which I appreciated, the manager seemed reluctant to give the discount and made it seem as if this wait were somehow my fault. I will not be coming back to Brakes Plus in the future.

This was the best experience I have had at a car service company. Everyone there was helpful. The front desk was courteous and quick with the warranties. I had a longer talk with Zavier who was very personable and easy to talk to; he made what started out as being the worst part of my day and turned it into something way less stressful than I thought. Called in a rush, of course, and they gave me a time, duration and exact cost for the oil change. They did it ON time and with extra pertinent information about the Fit!! No pitches, no, excuses, no delays. Chris showed me everything and made me feel SAFE. Derek was polite, articulate and handled the extra no appointment drop ins with grace! I had an oil change done here. I drove my car directly home and parked it in the garage. Approximately 5 hours later I go in the garage and noticed a very large oil puddle under my vehicle. I take my vehicle to a different brakes plus location. My oil pan had a cracke. My oil pan was not leaking before I took in to this location for an oil change.

Brakes Plus was absolutely amazing. I had a special situation that most places would not accommodate and Brakes Plus did. They were amazing and found problems that my previous shop of choice had missed. They were incredibly courteous and I cannot recommend these men enough.

I would highly recommend Brakes Plus Store #130/Woodmen. They are extremely professional, and go over each service in detail. In addition, and most importantly, they stand by their work. I have taken both my car and truck to Brakes Plus Store #130/Woodmen for various reasons and both Brandon and KT always provide the utmost in customer service and support. Their insight and service is unmatched. It can be very difficult to navigate the search for good mechanics these days. Additionally, it can be confusing to understand where is the best deal, or best mechanic, so on and so forth. However, when you receive great customer service and a professional approach to working on your vehicle, as I feel I have at Brakes Plus, the look is over. I would highly recommend this Brakes Plus store.

Great place, knowledgeable guys. Always go above and beyond to try and help you out. Been going here for years. Store manager Brandon is great, KT and the other guys there are pleasant and helpful. These guys know what they are doing.

Went to get a battery replaced, but it wasnt in stock. Thats ok, but try to be halfway accurate on how long it takes to get one there.They told me about 45 min to get it there & installed. I finally walk out around 1 1/2 hours later.I missed an spending time with the family because of it.Theyre usually better than that.

Brandon was able to quickly diagnose my issue and fashioned a repair to get me back on the road.

My timeline:On a Wednesday.Booked appointment at 8 am, for 11 AM.10:45 am- arrival at store12:25 pm- diagnosis complete2:20 pm- car arrives back from test drive2:40 pm- I am checked outTotal elapsed time 3hr 55 min. Total labor, 2 front pads and trimmed rotors for those pads.Person who checked me out was nice. Wont be back to this location. I am minorly mechanically inclined, have done brakes before though not quickly. However I could still do this same job faster and cheaper, (by about half in both categories) and so I shall in the future.Go here if you dont know how to do anything at all on your car, and have time and money. I would suggest leaving your car and picking it up, you will spend the same amount of time.

This is a darn good place to get your brakes serviced. Reasonable and reliable. The mechanics are skilled in many different repairs, so dont think of them as just brake experts. Plus they tell it to you like it is on your repair. If there is a special going on for your repair, they factor that in too. I like the guys at the Woodman location because they are sharp, and work with you.

Love this Brakes Plus! I use anytime I have a issue.I went in to get my car looked at because of a problem I was having with my car and Derek just fixed the problem and didnt try and sell me on anything else. He was very honest and I appreciate his business. 👍🏼

Yeah so they do a great job diagnosing problems, however I do believe they are a bit overpriced. For example, I brought my focus in there with a broken compressor. Now the cost of a new compressor is 200-500$ however they quoted 1200 for the compressor, nearly double the amount it costs to DIY. Labor fees are also higher than what doctors quote not sure how I feel about that.

Nick darnell was referred to me by a friend to talk with about breaks. He was professional and did not haggle me into any unnecessary repairs. He told me straight up what needed to be done. He got me in and out quickly and it was a great price. I would recommend anyone going to this place to talk with nick as he seemed to know his stuff.

I went in to discount tire next door for 4 new tires and they had a couple issues with a stud breaking and a lug nut bring seized on ssi they sent me to brakes plus for service! Best recommendation ever!! The guys went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get my let tire on and back on the road!! Friendly, fast and a great couple guys too talk to while they work!! Needed brakes done and had no appointment. Didnt think I would be able to get service done due to there parking lot and bays overflowing. Brandon and his team were able to accommodate me and get me taken care of same day, to my surprise. You generally dont get a business willing to take care of you same day knowing that it will keep them late. After waiting on a brake service for 3 hours, the store associate told me it would be a while longer because he got the wrong brake pads. I asked if there’d be a discount since 4 hours for brakes is absurd. He laughed in my face and told me “No but I can make it more expensive.” I don’t feel like I could possibly describe worse customer service. Afterwards the manager and sales associate were polite and able to make amends.

They were very professional and did great work replacing my brake pads and rotors. The technician who was helping me, Nick, was incredibly good at explaining everything they were going to replace and actually brought me into the bay to show me why the parts needed replacing. After getting screwed over at multiple dealerships in the Springs while trying to get my car repaired, Nick and the team at Brakes Plus made my service appointment a relaxing and memorable one. Brought in my pro touring camaro for an alignment. They also took it upon themselves to go above and beyond making sure everything was up to par and safe.

On recommendation from a friend, I made an appointment for a wheel alignment, after hitting a huge pothole, causing the car to pull right. Sorry for the run on. The alignment guy ran an bit long on the job ahead of mine, so he was running about 20 minutes late. No worries. The manager was apologetic and informed me of the small delay. They were able to correct an alignment problem, but the car still pulled a little. They diagnosed the pulling problem to possible tire damage. After rotating the tires, the problem changed direction. Next stop will be discount tire, right next door. The place was very clean, everyone was wearing masks, and everyone was very professional. Absolutely recommend Brakes Plus on Woodmen.

The other day I was in for an oil change and asked them if they’d check on a running light for me. They called me back saying it was out and gave me a price to fix it. I told them I’d just fix it myself and save a few bucks, but when I got back to pick it up, they had fixed it for me and didn’t even charge me for the part! That’s the kind of service I appreciate! KT is especially great to deal with. He’s knowledgeable and helpful as well as professional and friendly. 5 stars for him all the way!

Worst place ever... Brought 2 of my trucks in for an Alignment in the past and they messed them up so bad I had to take them to mikes frame and alignment to Have it done right. I should have known better but i brought it back to have my new trucks front brake rotors turned... they proceded to try to upsell me and then out right refused to turn the rotors.. Dont use this place

They tried to play me for a fool. I went to get my alignment done and they tried to say that all these different things needed to be replaced (basically new front suspension minus the struts) before they would do the alignment and the cost went from $68 to just shy of $400. When i said i didnt come for nor need anything but the alignment and asked them to just straighten the front wheels, and that i would still pay the whole cost of the alignment, they refused unless i bought these parts from them. I went to the cadillac dealership afterward and they did the whole alignment for $57 without any issues. Brakes plus will rip you off if you let them.

They really take care of my car and always make time to see me same day. I feel confident when I leave that whatever issue I bring to them will be fixed and fixed right. KT takes the time to explain things to me and gives advice to make my car last longer! I’d give 10 stars if I could.

When my automotive DIY ambition exceeded my tool collection, this was the first place I went to for a mechanical lifeline to help get the ball joints removed from each steering knuckle. I walked up and explained my need to Brandon, and he modestly said I think we can help you. So I left the already detached knuckles with them. Little over an hour later, I get a call telling me the job is done. I came by and KT walked me through what theyd done, and they were even consciously pro-active enough to keep the old parts in case I still needed them. I asked if I could use a Brakes Plus $10 off coupon and he was was happy to do so. We had a brief car chat and it just felt like these guys were beyond just doing business as usual, they were car dudes who showed respect to me for taking on the DIY work, and I appreciate that. Now I know that this local automotive gem is going to be my Go To for any mechanical stuff I may not have the time or tools for. Knowing I have this Brakes Plus close by, and the genuineness and helpfulness they demonstrated is very reassuring. I recently had my brakes and shocks replaced at their 5710 woodman brach and the mechanic completely forgot to put on the nuts that secure my shocks to the mounting bracket. I will never use their services again. If you do use their service, then make sure you confirm the work yourself before leaving the shop.

Overall pretty good experience only problem Ive had was a fuel line was replaced by them and the next day it came off on the highway which caused my vehicle to lock up and I had to have it towed back. But they did fix it and havent had a problem since

The desk service was exceptional. I wish I had paid attention to the man at the front desk, as he was incredibly pleasant and professional. I felt valued as a customer. We had a blown fuse controlling the radio, clock, and mirrors. They quickly fixed the issue, AND at no charge! We will go back and highly recommend this location and their service.

To start, the customer service was good. They made sure I was informed of each bit of work prior to being done and they had no problem giving me quotes for stuff to consider and thankfully so. When I got home to start looking into parts they wanted to use for a worn ball joint I noticed that their 1-year warranty parts and lifetime warranty parts were not nearly the price they were selling them for. Their parts markup is between 87% on the low end and 381% for their lifetime part. Unacceptable. Im grateful I looked up their $120.09 part listed on Amazon for $24.96

Ive been to this location several times now and my experience has been great. They take the time to go over your vehicle with you out in the shop area so you can get a better understanding of any issues. Super friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend stopping in.

They got me in the morning and got the work done. No appointment but I did get there early. They didnt try to up sell me into rotors. Work seems good. They report to Carfax for record keeping. Prices a bit higher than I had seen elsewhere but it was there so I had them do it. They do have a military discount as well. I likely will use them again.

This is THE place to go for brakes and other vehicle repair needs!!! Turned out I also needed other work (verified, not just to make them more $$$). They worked with me when my bill got super expensive for me; it seemed they genuinely care about their customers. The guy who worked on my car did research AFTER hours on the problem and left me a message after hours and contacted me again first thing next morning. These guys are awesome!!!!

I would have given them five-stars, but.....The service was great! I came in to get a tie rod replaced and they were super friendly and helpful. They fixed my car with the price they had quoted to me prior. I really couldn’t be happier with the actual service performed. However, I did notice a very pungent smell inside my car on my drive home. I got home and saw some very large stains on my drivers side rug that they had left behind while working on my car. I haven’t gotten around to cleaning it yet, and it still smells awful. Not entirely sure what it is, but I’m sure they accidentally tracked it in there on their shoes (its definitely some type of car fluid). I understand that my car is not new; it is old and not very nice, but I would still prefer that they lay down plastic or something next time, so I don’t have to smell car fluid while driving.

I drive an old truck that always has a mile long list of problems to fix. Every time I take it to this shop they take the time to listen to all my complaints, no matter how small, and offer a plan to fix them. Ive had numerous jobs done by these guys and Ive driven away happy every time. They are so friendly and attentive!Thank you for not losing patience on my truck!

They have been our shop of choice for all our automotive needs. They are helpful and kind. Last visit we had to get a ride home, after we were dropped off I realized I still had the car keys. The wonderful woman who drove us home came back to pick them up, still friendly. We are loyal customers and will continue to be.

KT is amazing! Had wheel studs snap due to torque had no clue how to fix it, and was sure I didn’t have the $. I asked KT for an assessment, and this man went above and beyond. He fixed ALL the lugs and studs and it was WAY less than expected.

KT took care of my car even when they were very busy. Got my alignment and oil change completed. Gave a couple of discounts. I was referred to them by a mechanic from another place. Will definitely come back for other vehicle service. Thank you
