This place is on point!! Clean shop! Provided all necessary tools and if it’s not on your cart chances are one of the mechanics has one they can loan you, no problemo! Had to replace the alternator in a 2003 Mazda Tribute, and during the process I broke one of the wire connectors that go to the alternator. Nikki is a mechanic that works there and he was more than happy to help me to fix it up. When he was fixing it, he found a large portion of the wires going to the alternator were fusing together and shorting out (part of the problem of why my alternator broke in the first place). Nikki took the time to replace all the wiring that was bad! Amazing!! Totally recommend this place!!

Ive been here two or three times to work on my 96 Civic. The people here are very friendly very helpful its a nice way to learn how to work on your own vehicle and get some mechanical background too. Now looking for a job as an apprentice mechanic who would have known I actually like doing the stuff.

Great folks. I rented a flat bay to install a “plug and play” auto start, was not plug and play. Very clean for a auto shop! I had tools but they supplied a rolling cart with tools and helped with tools not on the cart. I’ll use them again as you should.

They have been extremely helpful in repairing each of my vehicles. I will gladly bring them back. They do all types of work, they did an engine swap in my range rover, coolant repairs to the bmw. All in good timing and with a great attitude!!!

I had to do a transmission on a F550 here. Got a whole bay for two days for a great price as well as tool rentals if you need them. The mechanics are very friendly and knowledgeable as well as the owner.

Great place to DIY on car work, I took my steering knuckles and lower control arms there to press out the old wheel bearings/hubs/bushings. After trying a vise and air hammer to get the lower control arm bushings out with no success, Nikki who is one of the techs there helped me out with a torch and he was able to get the bushings out. They also have a shop press which I used to press in the new wheel bearings and hubs. I forgot the name of the lady who runs it but she is very pleasant to work with.

Went and installed a new turbo in my subaru today. Really enjoyed the shop environment. And how knowledgable the techs are. Bonus: the shop stays nice and toasty. As well as warm attitudes

Great shop. On a road trip and found a fuel leak. We knew we could fix it ourselves if we were home and had our tools. So found this DIY garage. Great group of people. Helped us get it fixed and back out on the road.

If you are a do it yourself mechanic this is the place for you! 4 lifts and you can schedule ahead of time. Very reasonable pricing with lots of tools available. My son and I installed a class 3 hitch on a Honda CR-V In an hour which would have been ridiculously difficult without lifting the car so we could stand under it to drop the tailpipe and 2 mufflers to allow access for the bolting to the frame. I would use this facility for any job that requires working on a vehicle. The owner (Lisa) is very accommodating.

Gearhead Garage has been crucial to the completion of repairs on my semi-trucks. Ive done partial rebuilds on two engines plus other miscellaneous work. They have been very accomadating to my needs. Although I am primarily DIY, they are always willing to lend a hand. Their shop provides a large assortment of tools and automotive repair equipment, including lifts. They also help with technical support and procurement of necessary parts. I highly recommend Gearhead Garage!

Very pleased. Ran into some issues with my ABS system, and check engine light and they fixed it in a fast and precise manner and at a great cost. Loved the environment and people working there. I cant say enough good things about this place. I took my truck in for my first visit to this shop to utilize one of their DIY bays for a quick transmission mount replacement. The first thing I noticed was how CLEAN it was (well, at least it was until a little snow melted off my truck and I left puddles of water on each side of it. Sorry, guys!). You can tell these people take great pride in this shop. Their shop also has just about every tool you could ever need along with access to pneumatic impact wrenches, jacks, transmission lifts, etc.Not only is the shop awesome, but the people here are some of the nicest folks Ive encountered in the Springs. From the time I called to the second I walked out the door, everyone involved was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely kind. Lisa is a great person that gives off the vibe that she just wants to take care of you. Danny was the technician I worked with. When you pay for a service, you expect it to be done right. Brought a car there to have a complete engine rebuild done and was quoted a price. Paid said price and it took more than the time quoted to get it done..... by about a month. Im patient so the wait was not that bad. I got the same talk that it was parts this and that. I wasnt mad because I was happy to get my car back. Had the car 3 days and the timing jumped and the car wouldnt run. They fixed the problem and I got the car home again. I noticed rust and decided to swap all parts from one shell to another and upon the tear down, I noticed clamps missing on hoses so the slightest pressure and they would have blown off. Bolts were not torqued down as they should have been, I was able to remove them with my bare hands. The car had bolts used that were not meant for cars, and there were bolts that were standard when they should have been metric. My steering rack was fine when it went in, and when it came out, I needed a rack and pinion job. My turbo and intercooler piping were not correctly routed, and they tried to fabricate an elbow to a connector to make it fit, causing it to rub on the radiator fans, creating a hole in the soft silicone of the pipe. There was a coolant leak when the car would run for more than 5 minutes. There were parts missing, like transfer case bolts and the silicon seal that hold the fluid in. Had it locked up going down the highway, I would have probably spun out. The bolts that attached the transmission to the mount on the frame were loose enough to the point that I didnt need a wrench to remove them. If there was a screw, it wasnt tightened down enough, or it was tightened down to the point that an impact wrench was needed. If this is professionally done, then I would hate to see what it would look like if an amateur did the work. Nothing was held together the right way, Im surprised it didnt break on me before I got it home. I was told that I should take the car and drive it for a break in period for 500 miles, Im not sure that the car would have lasted that far. It currently has 102 miles on the rebuild because I didnt have time to drive it over the course of a year. Im glad I didnt try to make the stretch. I didnt think that after paying over $4,000 to get an engine rebuilt that I would have to rebuild it myself. It looks as though they just threw everything together as fast as possible to get it out of their shop. I guess if you want something done right, you just have to do it yourself. I would recommend if you need your car worked on, stay far away from this place.

These are also a DIY mechanic shop. I needed to replace some wheel bearings in my car and they had everything I needed except for parts of course but there is a part store down the street from them. I had some help when I needed and they didnt charge an arm and a leg for me to rent a bay out. I will recommend these guys and gals to anyone and I will be using them from here on out. I’ve been going to Gearhead for a few years now even when they were called Peak Performance. I absolutely love this shop. Lisa and her team (Danny and Jason aka Sparky) of mechanics are phenomenal, honest, and caring people. Danny and Jason have both worked on my car and have went over and beyond to take care of me and get me on the road. My car overheated due to water pump failure, I called Lisa and told her, she said “the guys are expecting you, bring her in asap”. Ive worked three times on my INTREPID since the shop was starting up, First off I would like to thank Lisa, Sparky, and my man Danny. the Owner and Techs are the perfect examples of kind professionals. because of Danny my Car is Running again he assisted me re threading my spark plug hole which took about ten minutes and all I had to do was pay my flat bay fee. They have a lot of specialty tools too. if you cant do the work yourself the Techs and the owner work tirelessly to find the issues. I purchased a vehicle from a guy who had brake work done at this garage. Well about a month into having the truck my drum brake were COMPLETELY shot and burned. EVERYTHING HAD TO BE REPLACED. All because of the work this garage did. They replace parts with as cheap as you can get them. I spent around 2 weeks of back on fourth with this garage. The ONLY good thing (maybe) is that the owner did replace everything under warranty that was already replaced and replaced my drums because the work they did caused my drums to go bad. They are so untrustworthy I had another garage up the street take a look at the work they did to make sure everything was done correctly and it wasnt. They put both primary shoes on one side and the secondary on the other, techs gave nothing but attitude towards me because I wasnt taking there bull. Dont take your vehicle here unless you want headache.

Jason was so helpful to me when I needed help the most. Went out of his way or me. The owner was such a nice lady with a great establishment!

This place is awesome! I first learned of them when I was going to replace something and wanted a heated garage to work. Then, when I needed my leaking brake master cylinder replaced they did it for an extremely reasonable price! Danny the tech was really awesome, never complaining when it was being a pain and took way longer than it should have. Lisa was super friendly, whether messaging through fb or in person.Another shop tried to con me out of $1300 for something that had zero problems with it and Danny was able to confirm for me that there was no issue with that part.From now on this is the only place Im taking my car. Cheap rental bays and lifts and really reasonable prices if I choose to let them do it. Win/win!

Really pleased with service I received, they went out of there way to come give me a jump start so i could avoid having to call a tow truck. Once i got my car in for repairs they were super fast and the cost was alot less then what other shops wanted. I will be back for more car repairs in the future.

Lisa, the owner, is super fun, easy to work with and even provides a little extra help for you should you get in a little deeper then you planned. This is not just your basic shop with 6 Bays and a tool box with a wrench and a screwdriver... no no no it’s a shop with 6 bays, 4 lifts, two doors that will accommodate larger vehicles and tools from tire tools and impacts to pipe benders and pry bars! I’m telling ya, if you are like me and you like to be hands on with your vehicles then you gotta give this place a try! I don’t have a shop yet and till I get my shop built I’ll be using gearhead garage !!! Thanks to everyone at gearhead for all the help and patience!! I will be back!!!

Seriously awesome and saved me a ton of money!I came to Gearheads to rent a lift bay. I wanted to replace all of my rotors and brake pads, perform a brake fluid flush, and bleed the brake lines. I saved over $300 and lots of time by using the gearhead garage.I also got stuck a couple times as I am just learning about car maintenance work. The mechanic at the garage was great about helping me several times and offering his professional advice. Their tools are in great shape and they everything you could possibly need.

Jeremy was great helped out on my engine swap i couldnt get it to run but had him help out and he got it running in no time huge job but this heated shop was awesome definitely will be back thanks to lisa she was awesome and helpful thanks again mike

Didnt think anything like this existed. They had everything i needed to replace my high pressure fuel line so i could do it myself. Instead of paying 500$ for another shop top do it, i decided this place and did it myself for under 50$!

She is so vile and incompetent and doesnt understand why she is going under with her business. She has her techs diag issues that arnt even close to being a problem. She leaves one tech in house to do every demanding job she has at that shop.The only good thing she does is leave early.Her shop is filthy, always too hot and unbearable to be in. She stole over 500 dollars out of our truck. We asked her what happened to our tools. She said I don’t know. Someone must of stole them when they where there working on there vech. She didn’t want to help to retrieve the tools. The owner lady is not trust worthy at all. We had a problem come up and couldn’t finish our vech the next day. She knew of this problem. She then had our vech towed by some slimy tow truck company that now wants over 500 dollars.

You can Rent a garage stall with tools, internet access, a lift, and certified techs to ask for advice. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They will tune your ride after you get that new upgrade installed and they even have An AWD dyno for more extreme projects.
