I moved to COS recently and was happy to find a Mardel here. I can spend a couple hours going through all the sections of this store. The employees were all very helpful when trying to pick out a new Bible, they even personalized the one I chose for myself and my husband. The clothing is also very cute and high quality.. Love this store so much.

Full of all types of Christian products, from art work to books crafts and more. I found s old favorite Our Daily Bread. Its a plastic loaf of bread filled with little scripture cards and Gods promises that you can pick out and read when you need some encouragement and boy do we need encouragement now!

My wife has shopped at this store for years as a teacher. We’ve decided to stop based largely on their prominent featuring of books promoting a particular recent political leader who represents the opposite of what we believe Jesus taught us about how we should relate to and treat others. That, coupled with a general outdated culture that is afraid of moving out of the 90’s was the major turnoff to us. Not all change is bad, Mardel.

The store is great most people are very friendly and helpful. The only issue Ive had was dealing with the older lady at the imprint counter, Cindy I believe is her name. I was there a few months ago with my Dad, so he could buy a new Bible. When he took it to her to get it engraved she was very rude and short tempered with him. My Dad has cancer and is on several medications that effect his memory. He asked her the same question twice, and she snapped at him telling him I already told you.... Im protective of him, so I stepped in and told her to chill out. I finished with her, but she had an attitude the rest of the time. I figured she was just having a bad day, so I left it at that. Yesterday I was in there again, this time with my Mom. Your store was busy, so she was checking people out at her counter. My Mom was also buying a Bible, and a cover for it. My Mom showed her an online coupon for 30% off, and apparently she was having trouble entering it. She ended up doing it manually, but only took it off for one item. My Mom asked her why it was as much as it was, and she snapped (AGAIN) at her, and said its only good for one item and I did it. I kept my cool this time, and after she was done I brought a cross chain up. My Mom showed her a different online coupon, for my purchase, and she said, very rudely its only good for one purchase my mom told her its a different coupon, and I told just scan it and see. She did, it worked, and her response was fine. I really like your store, and Ive only had issues with that one lady, but Im not going to make a purchase there again if I have to deal with Cindy and her bad attitude again. She really should be a better representation for a Christian store. She gives Christianity a bad name.

Its a nice, quite, clean, and very well organized store. My wife goes there to purchase school supplies for her classroom. That place is ginormous on the inside. The staff is also very friendly.

We are in town for sad circumstances - the loss of a very close family member. I stopped at Mardel’s to find a specific book to give a loved one this week for encouragement. My heart was heavy and as we checked out we were blessed to encounter Lon who checked us out. In 5 minutes he had made every single one of us smile. He shared God’s love with us in a very personal way. Sometimes people don’t know that a small act of kindness can be the saving Grace to somebody having a hard time. You are very blessed to have him working in your store. Best experience at a Mardels I’ve ever had.

Went to this store today to buy a couple of t shirts a hat an a dvd called (The Encounter) got home and opened the dvd to watch it and I immediately noticed that there was no writing or movie logo on the disc. I still placed it in my dvd player already knowing without the movie logo its a fake (BOOTLEG) copy. The colors of the actors faces were light at times then itll get dark. I called the store and spoke to a manager and I explained my situation and he told me to bring it back for another movie or a refund and that sometimes the company where they order their movies from forget to put the movie logos on their dvds. WOW LIKE REALLY!!! I cant believe that a Christian store would use the LORDS name for their gains and sell bootleg movies. But that goes to show me and other review readers that are true Christians that JESUS is on his way when you see things like this happen.

I was surprised on their selection of toys. Never imagined. I looked everywhere for what I was looking for and found it here as well as other toys. One bad experience was checkout. There was a line and they kept asking for help and finally after 15 minutes of the store paging for help, someone came and opened another register. Will definitely come back after the Holidays and look at their store merchandise.

This store has an amazing book collection. I just wanna buy everything in it.

Young people were very polite and asked if I was finding what I needed. Older lady, Joannie, at the cash register lied right to my face (Yup, a Church lady!) Additionally, they are not following mask protocols.This is what happened: I asked Joannie at checkout if they were enforcing it, she said Yes. I said there was an older couple in books with their masks down, and coughing and talking fast with spittle coming out. She responded Well, the thing is, the manager does not want to police this protocol. Oh. So...why lie?I get there is a faction that wants to protest masks because they want their rights. Mardel needs to let the rest of us know that we are at higher risk in their store, because they support cretins. They also hire liars. Not the kind of Christian place I want to support. Everything they sell can be bought on-line, either directly from publishers or other websites.

This place is great to have here in town! All of the staff is friendly and helpful and they always have what we need and more. Plenty of supplies for those who do homeschooling, daycare or Sunday school. Its always clean in here. The only reason I dont like going is because I always end up picking something up I didnt need like artwork because it is well made and unique.

A great selection of books not a Bible version and even great bargain books for a better understanding of the Bible and even novelists related, but not direct to the Bible. I believe Christianity is about understanding life, yourself and being a good person, and God is not a man or beast, by the way, only an understanding.

Mardel does not provide the services and excellence that it use to. It was surprising that it took 25 minutes being in the store to be greeted by a real person.

I had multiple employees make sure I was getting the help I was looking for and also felt very welcomed. On my way out the cashier offered us free coffee that was placed on one of the tables. I ended up buying a bible book case and left the store happy with the quality of service.

As a teacher, I love the supplies and laminator. I use this place often for my school supplies.

We made a quick stop there on our bus trip in the area, but could have stayed a lot longer. What a neat store with all kinds of awesome Christian based merchandise. I would call it a Christian Barnes and Noble. If you see one sometime when traveling, I suggest you take the time and check it out. You wont be disappointed!
