Always a treasure to find somewhere here! We loved the Halloween costumes we found and even my teen/senior found some stylish clothes.Very convenient drive through donation area. They only put out items in great shape. If clothes are stained, they bail them and donate to needy countries. (As always, if it isnt functional anymore, please throw it away instead of filling their dumpster.)

Severely overpriced.Most everything in the store is can be bought used online more easily for less money, including shipping.Some stuff here even costs more than if you bought it brand new.If I wanted to pay MSRP, then I wouldnt be buying highly questionable thrift quality items from a store that begs people to donate free merchandise. I would just buy a new one.We are talking prices like $50 for a plastic blender in rough shape. $35 for an empty apache case which costs $23 new from harbor freight.

I like this store but they never have the dressing rooms open?? What the hell? It is a lot easier to sell product, when your fitting rooms are open?! Ridiculous.

Historic blizzard today and Im donating my entire estate. I cant believe these guys are open today. I am so grateful. We are trying to move on the one day without snow.. Tomorrow.

This location is ok. I went to browse books but there is no organization to them. Other locations at least have the teen/young people chapter books separated from the adult books. I also had a brief peek at the Halloween costumes, and it was slim pickens.

This location has everything the Monument location does not have. Most importantly, good prices and excellent customer service!!The good items that the Monument location is too snobby to accept, is happily taken by this location. Ill be back!

Greedy pricing team, has a lot of their video game systems and accessories way way over priced nust because they are in the rich part of town and then they make you purchase the cables seperate and then the remote separate. They are the only thrift shop in my life I have seen do this. its disgusting to watch a non for profit take something they got for free and charge more than what you can get it for online ( with cables and remote ) People go to thrift stores for a good deal, not to pay full price for half a product. this place really really gives goodwill a bad name.

This is a moderately large store.Parking is a little lacking given the store size.Prices were better for clothes, furniture, and books over most thrift stores. We got several books and baby outfits for 99 cents each.Prices for home decor however were too high. We saw items similar to what we recently purchased new at a Hobby Lobby and they were not much less than that.Staff was super friendly.

I found everything I needed, and more. The employees were very helpful in guiding me to what I was looking for. The store is very clean, and much more organized than most thrift stores I have been to before.

Excellent variety of decently priced clothing eith discounts on certain colored tickets. Would recommend to pick up something in a pinch if needed.

Need to have all the dressing rooms open. There were ten people waiting while other took baskets of clothing in there or would bring 5 item and put the back in the basket just to get 5 more.

I love the way they redecorated and the new layout is clean and easy to navigate. The prices are OK, but some prices are way off. $49.99 for a beat up, smelly, old mini fridge is rediculous. $10.00 on line gets you a brand new one with a warranty. I found one in excellent condition on Facebook for$50 OBO. it came to you for FREE. Remember that when repricing.

This is generally a pretty good thrift experience. The pricing is hit or miss, but I usually find something that I quite like for the price. Also, the staff is pretty helpful and friendly

They were pretty rude had a few of the same exact items and one was priced higher and they would not price it the lower price. Other goodwills have fixed the price before.

Havent been going Thrift shopping as much as I use to... However, this has always been a good store. They always have good, affordable stuff. The employees are very polite and friendly. Its a fairly large store too. Would definitely recommend checking it out.

In general, the selection is nice for clothes, and most clothing items can be had at a decent price, however sometimes I come across pricing tags that blow my mind at how expensive they are. The staff generally seems to be very quirky and fun people who genuinely care about the thrifting lifestyle.The items available generally range from everyone needs this to why is this even for sale?, and I find myself rarely buying when I visit. If prices were more consistent or sales were easier to understand (like competitors), this might change.On my specific visit, there was in store remodeling going on, and it seems as though they do not care that customers need to interact with this. There is dust everywhere, and on every piece of merchandise. I asked about price adjustments because of this but to no avail. It would be nice to see them take some action on this, because I believe this is an unsafe and unhealthy practice. I even noticed some employees wearing face masks because they seemed to be required to be around the dust and debris.Maybe next time this sort of thing is required, just close the store and use a temporary location? Or maybe just remodel one side of the store at a time and close out the other half? I feel like there were MUCH better ways to do this that wouldnt give a big middle finger to us, the customers.TLDR: generally good, but inconsistent, and currently dirty.

The Goodwill return policy sucks. I shouldn’t have to drive to the same store I purchased something from To return a defective item. Every other retail company in the world allows you to go to the most convenient store and rectify the situation.

They have a drive thru drop off for donations and a small parking lot for shopping inside.

Always busy but by far the best selections as far as clothing here In the springs. I purchased a blazer at Kohls went to the good will same 60$ blazer was $5.99 needless to say I returned the other.

I went in there, had two desks an entertainment unit a reptile cage and 12 pairs of jeans ready to go. Due to the remodel they don’t have fitting rooms available. Just for context sake, I spend about 2-300 dollars every two weeks there because of the nature of my job. So before the pants my grand total was 425 dollars. I agreed to only purchase one pair of the pants if they let me try them on in the bathroom as suggested by another coworker. The manager stated that’s not possible, and I could just guess if they fit or not. I purchased nothing and will never purchase from this location again. Good luck everyone.

They have culled a lot of the clothing, though I still dont feel safe touching it. The store is clean, uncrowded & well stocked.

The parking lot is so small. Things are way over priced. Its a thrift store.

Today was my 1st foray into thrift stores since January. I liked that they are cleaning the carts between each use.

This Goodwill on Kelly Johnson is one of the best Goodwills you will ever find in Colorado Springs there are very clean store they have such a variety of name brand clothes it just all in all just a great Goodwill to go

Hadnt been in here in a while and wow this store is beautiful now! Everything is clean and well organized and while I was a little bummed that the dressing rooms were closed and I had to buy all the clothes I wanted to try on, I will definitely be back again soon!

This store has really gone downhill. Every time you go into this store there’s a brand new face and brand new management. It makes you wonder what’s really going on with the store. Prices have sky rocketed I will not be returning to this store anymore. I looked forward to coming here and seeing the workers who made my day every time I would come in. Management team by the names Heather and Caspar who are no longer there always put a smile on my face. The new management team is very rude and don’t seem to care about customers. Always new cashiers every time you go in. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!!

Good location and usually a good selection. Prices are better than the Monument Goodwill, but the items might be a little lower on the scale. I am between the two locations so I will swing my on my lunch hour to see if anything jumps out to me. The do a lot of good work in the community so show them your support.

For thrifting, this place is...meh. Although, it makes absolutely no sense that the donation drop-off hours are restricted to 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. every single day.

Choose other stores the manager from this store could use a new job. I called to see if they had boy scout uniforms, she did say they didnt have any complete uniforms but that there was shirts and vest. I drove from Pueblo West to get what they had only to find she didnt bother to look. Such a simple request. Just be aware this is the treatment from this store alone. Hope it was just an isolated experience.

Always great deals- shop here before paying full price elsewhere for candles, holders. Furniture. Clothes. Household stuff- I was there for two hours and walked out with 5 bags and a huge rug... Total wad under $30!

Holy wow! I think I just walked in Macys!!!! What a great Goodwill. Except the resalers. Tons of them scooping up everything. I really wish they could be stopped or limited.

Great selection, great prices! Bought a bunch of work shirts for a third of the price of the ARC up the street. Staff is nice. I asked the guy working shoes if he had seen the match to a single shoe I found, and he looked until he found it, even going in the back. Lines can be long at times, and racks are not ordered other than pants/shirts etc and by color, but its a good store. Recommend for clothing, but other items not so much.

During COVID-19 Opening@KKTV11News @KRDONC13 in visiting Goodwill today on Kelly Johnson in Colorado Springs, no social distancing or limited customers. Mass confusion & disorder. I didnt feel safe. In advising the manager, Rob said, I cant babysit people!He was not concerned for customers and seemed overwhelmed. We left and will not return.

Found a nice dining room table!

This used to be our go-to thrift store, but it has really gone downhill in price, organization, quality and spacing. They intentionally charge more for clothing used as school uniforms - three times as much as other clothing despite poor quality. Prices have gone up all over the store, which is probably the reason for the crowded conditions. Its not worth what they want to charge. Browsing is a confusing and miserable experience - its like a maze crowded on all sides with people, carts, racks and stuff. Stains, holes and extremely cheaply made items are priced as highly as regular used stuff. A store price tag results in a price double for no real reason. The parking lot is as small and crowded as it has always been, but is now full of workers from the construction next door. The second star is for our cashier, who was very nice.Update: The new layout really helped with the space issue, but the parking and pricing remain ridiculous.

Great store, but they started removing the items priced at 50% off days too soon. This used to be a joy on senior days to find those special priced deals. No more. They are all but gone. The coffee they serve is a great touch. Good place to sit and chat, or sit and read a book. Really appreciate that service to the customers.

Customers in the store was too close to suit me I mean and they wouldnt move when you were standing there looking at stuff its just rough so I would give that store a rating of 3 something needs to change

Got a costume for a play my daughter is in for only 6 dollars. They have different discounted tickets different days. Great selection of items, clean (by second hand standards), and organized (by type and color). They have a large book section, and I think free coffee, and a mini lounge area too. The staff was super nice. They have carts and baskets for shopping, as well as dressing rooms. A great experience for bargain shopping!

Incredible selection of high quality furniture and household items for reasonable prices. They deliver to Torrance or Carson for 60 bucks. Mr. Seiko, the salesman, is very honest and accommodating. Cant say enough about this place. You should check it out.

For a Goodwill store, this one is huge and well stocked. Lots of clothing, of course, and the usual furniture and brick a brack and books and stuff, but also a separate outdoor section. The place is very clean, and the staff is quite helpful, as my wife had to ask for help locating what she was looking for a few times because the place is so big. At the register, however, they ask if you want to round up to the next dollar to create jobs. Perhaps the CEO of Goodwill could use a million dollars from his multi million dollar salary and create some jobs instead. Nah. That wouldnt be the American way.

I used to go here a lot but the prices are getting out of control. 12.99 for used shorts and 6.99 for used tshirts you can better deals or close to as good with clearance shopping at regular retail stores.

I have been visiting this goodwill weekly for 20 years and it’s always been one of my favorite stores! I started noticing some changes within the last few months, to include reorganization, free donuts/cookies, and MAJOR increase in prices (maybe it’s the free donuts/cookies?). They lost me today though, when I found a pair of (donated, let’s not forget) pants in the women’s department for $30- with visible period stains!!!!!!! Eeeeeeek 🤢 Wish I could visit the “old” goodwill!

Don’t you think it’s easy to change the recording on the business number to reflect that donations are only accepted from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm so that people like myself don’t drive an hour to a closed gate?!

If I could give this Goodwill a 0 I would. The store closes at 9, but the dressing rooms close at 8:30. This was not advertised anywhere and the staff was very rude when we asked to try clothes on. Why would be buy clothes when we can’t even try them on? The employee yelled at us from across the store and then went and got the manager. The manager was dishonest when trying to talk to us and did not even address the issue of the dressing rooms. This place was very unprofessional and made the customers feel very unwelcome. The group I was shopping with had a lot of clothes they were willing to buy if they fit- but, due to the employees making us feel very unwelcome and not being able to try on clothes, we left with nothing. Very disheartening since the money that would have bought the clothing would have helped the charity.

I shop this goodwill about once a week and have always had a pleasant experience until today. An assistant manager by the name of Kenzie proudly accused me of shoplifting in the dressing room while trying close on. She waited in front of my door off the dressing room for me to come out to confront me. Picked a tag that had been on the floor before I had even entered the room and asked me where it came from. I told her I had no idea as it was there when I walked in. She then stared Well I saw it fall of an item while you were in there. ...NEVER HAVE I EVER BEEN TREATED SO RUDELY BY AN EMPLOYEE ANYWHERE!

This is by far the cleanest and nicest Goodwill Ive ever been to. The stuff they had for sale here looked a lot less rough and used than the stuff Ive seen on the shelves of other Goodwill stores. I highly recommend stopping by here for a cheap shopping trip!

Great Thrift store I always walk away with a treasure.

Goodwill is great. They have a large selection of books, nice clothes, shoes, accessories and just about anything you might be looking for. They have coffee and cookies by the books. Today an employee carried a tray of cookies around for the people shopping in both stores. I always find good clothes and shoes at great prices. I get compllments from people, when I wear the outfits, I purchase from Goodwill.

Well organized and clean. This store seems exceptionally good at opening another register before the check out area gets too busy. Plus, $32 bought me 4 pairs of pants, a belt, and a DVD!

Not enough merchandise and prices are close to retail value

I love goodwill. I shop at pretty much all locations in the springs because they all have something good to offer. My only issue with this store is the childrens section. Its so small and so unorganized. Also when i went in the dressing room was a disaster. But the people are very nice and this location always hasgood furniture selection.
