For a birthday gift, I got the Samsung 65 RU8000 television from Tech For Less. This was my first time ordering something with a high asking price and have it shipped to my location. The television came via direct ship, which I have never tried before. The company and their representative were very knowledgeable and friendly, answering any questions that I had. They kept me informed about my order and how to get in contact with the shipping company if I had any questions/concerns. Definitely will order from this company again.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Bought a “brand new” & “unopened” tv from here. And when it finally arrived the box had mold in it. Immediately I contacted CS and they said I could return the TV for another one. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of packing it back up and being without a TV for another 3 weeks, but I wish I would have now. When it’s on a black screen you can clearly see white cloudy marks in all the corners. I purchased the Samsung 75in QLED. Contacted them again and no response. Just spend the extra couple hundred and go to Best Buy where you can actually get your money’s worth. Won’t ever purchase from this site/company again. #My2cents

Great service and product at a great price

I recently purchased an open box Planar EP5824K-T (a 58 touchscreen designed for 24/7 operation) from Tech for Less, which came with a one-year manufacturers warranty. I was very sad when the screen display wen black after only a few weeks and only 18 hours of actually being on. I called Planar, and got the run around from them saying that it wouldnt be covered. But, when I called Tech for Less, I got outstanding customer service from representative Jess and customer service manager Erik Anderson. They resolved the warranty in a little over a week and have Planar sending me a new monitor and are ensuring I dont have to pay for the return shipping on my broken screen.OUTSTANDING!

The websites cool, they have a good selection of discounted items. BUT DO YOUR PRICE COMPARISONS because not everything is cheaper. The main reason they get such a low score from a generous scorer is their customer service. Now as a sorta disclaimer I came in 5 minutes before close (4 p.m) with an obnoxious drunk dude. You can do what you want with that fact. This isnt a retail location per say, you can buy stuff there in the building but I think most purchases happen online. Thats what I did to save on shipping while our drunk dude Tim asked a rather easy question in that obnoxious drunk talk people on the sauce get sometimes. T4L probably wouldve made a sale had they not shooed him off. Just my opinion but I think customer service is smiling till it hurts sometimes to get your bread. Maybe you shouldnt have a retail location if you dont like drunk ppl.

Sent the wrong item. They sent me a prepaid shipping label to return it and a replacement was shipped to me, all within half a day. Customer dervice doesnt get any better than that..

I wanted to buy a Samsung Galaxy s6 lite tablet, so like most folks I searched for the best price. I came across Tech for Less where they had one advertised for $50 less then anyone else. It was listed as open box. Normally, I stay away from items listed as refurbished or open box. However, Tech for Less had gotten really good reviews. Their return policy was comprehensive and their customer service was supposed to great, so why not? Who doesnt want a bargain? I went for it, and couldnt be happier. The tablet, as described, is perfect, and I wouldnt hesitate to buy other electronics from them.

The staff are knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. They seem very happy to have a conversation about tech. I am a fan and will no doubt be returning.

Research before you buy.I used to go to these guys all the time in the past as they were great with service and pricing for computer stuff. I decided to revisit them recently after a long while and not only were the people there more concerned with whatever desk work they had, theyre raising prices based on demand. So yes, theyre apart of the rampant scalping market, reselling things like graphics cards at double the price. One thatll cost you $700+ normally will cost you $1,500+ through them. So if you do plan to buy from them, check the pricing elsewhere before you commit. Otherwise youre better off with Best Buy or even driving to Micro Center all the way in Denver. I myself will not be shopping with these people again.

Bought a multi port monitor cable from these guys off of Amazon. Set up multi port montors in home office, never worked right. Initially, thought it was cables, so bought new cables. Then thought it was monitor differences, so bought a new monitor so both matched, nope. Went to Office Max, bought a new multi port cable, worked immediately. This process took me 5 months as I couldnt believe a new refurbished splitter could be at fault. Requested return, as it was hard to determine it was refurbished product issue, return denied as taking too long. Problem was very hard to pinpoint, as it was intermittent, sometimes one monitor worked, sometimes the other, sometimes both. Since I cant leave a review on Amazons page, I am leaving it here. This cost me money and more importantly, time.

BEWARE fraudulent seller online. I bought a open item from them that was advertised as new and perfect condition. When we opened it, it had a large scratch on it, which was concealed under the sticker on the lower right corner. IT appears they put a larger sticker over it. The sticker was mint, so the scratch was there prior. Worse, the refused to credit me or take it back. I had to get my Credit card company involved to try to resolve.

I have had all good experiences with the technology that Ive purchased at Tech4Less. Ive purchased at least 3 laptops and a desktop from them, and all the products were as advertised and worked well out of the box. The customer service is not overly friendly, but that is OK with me. I am there to buy electronics, not make new friends. They get the job done and they do it quickly.

Excellent bought a Gateway laptop refurbished that lasted more than 5 years and still works till this day, yet very slow. Better than the piece of shi** cheaper computers they sell at Best Buy. I know there is a new owner now though, so Im hoping just their warranties have improved. Had a warranty for my laptop to realize they still charge an extra $30 to send it in. This may have change with new management--hopefully.

Tech services are done well and in solid times, prices are better than or comparable to other businesses. Sales products are good, at great prices, but trying to find something specific is atrociously hard, the website doesnt have especially good sorting or tagging, and employees just check the website to see if something is in stock even if you stop by in person.

This review is for the physical store, Not their online store.Customer service was O.K., there wasnt a huge wait to get the part I needed, and the price was reasonable. However, after I got home with the cable I purchased (which came in a bag that said tested and approved right on it) I discovered that the pins on one side of the cable were horribly bent and there was absolutely no way it had been tested. So I took it back and got a replacement at no extra cost. A hassle to be sure, but not the worst service ever. Just check the parts you buy before leaving the store and you should be O.K.

I bought a TV from them and twice it arrived damaged. I am not sure I trust this place. They did do a return, but if they are selling TVs through the mail they should be able to package them better. I think they might have been refurbished as the first TV had one line of pixels that was off across the screen. The second the border was separated from the screen and there were 4 bad lines of pixels. The customer service people tried to be helpful, but where not that clear - I think they work from home and that is not always the best. They did not keep me posted of the returns and I had to ask what the status was. Not that good overall.

I cannot understand the low ratings! I had a problem ONE time with a product, called them, and they immediately sent out another (arrived the very next day!) - no questions asked. So polite and helpful! I have bought several things, over the past few years, from this company, most recently a Dell laptop on their daily special. The computer is new, works great - I love it. This is the first place I look for electronics. Sometimes I buy, sometimes not - but always worth checking out. They have an actual store in Colorado Springs, CO. Buyer be ware. The fine print will tell you there is a 10% restocking fee. Of course they offered to refund that against another purchase, but if you dont really offer the scanner needed (network) then that is a hallow concession. We made the mistake of assuming a workgroup scanner would be network compatible. I guess that is our mistake to not have found that spec to be proof positive before ordering. We wanted to return this scanner immediately in the same condition once we unpacked it and tried to put it on our network. 10% is absurd in todays market place. We will never order anything from there again and you should not either unless you are absolutely sure it is right for you. Even then, who knows what there customer service would be like!?
