Love this treasure of a store! All my natural needs, wonderful organics, produce, etc( love there in house treats! )The deli is awesome! Great if you need to find something for EVERYONE ! Vegan, vegetarian, and meat eaters alike will find quality products, and friendly, helpful workers( and even other shoppers!). The vibe is chill, the store is clean, products great quality....so a little pricey and Totally worth it!!

Recommended by the other guys for the harder to find supplements, and they had exactly what we needed and more! Knowledgeable staff.

The young man with a headband working the cash register made our experience very pleasant. Great sense of humor, kind eyes, and friendly. Nothing negative to say. Employees like this are the reason I come back. One of my favorite stores in the Springs. Sheesh!

On days I dont feel like dealing with a large, crowded, too bright big-chain grocery store, Mountain Mama is my haven. I come here for my supplements, specialty yogurts, cleaning products, bulk food bins, etc. Their homemade soup and sandwiches are the best, and dont get me started on the raw pie slices -- straight from heaven! Sure, some prices are higher than youd find elsewhere, but Im happy to pay a little more for my specialty items and keep this small, local business thriving.

So glad I ventured that my new job allows me to check out natural food grocery stores. This is an amazing store that offers so much to the community! It may be quaint but plentiful.

(The first thing i noticed when the doors opened)A friendly and clean environment. Fresh, colorful fruits and vegetables. All kinds of assortments on cooked foods, grab and go items for the hungry soul. Very helpful employees, they reminded me of busy bees sweeping, running to wipe or mop or help someone. They are a little on the pricey side. Delicious vegan bar from the bakery. Ill be coming back to try the Mountain Mama Deli. These little hidden spots are usually gems. Its definitely on my list to try soon.

Found this hidden gem when looking for a vegan burger one day. Their deli/food service was amazing- customer service was on point at prepping your order before hand (always make sure you call and ask for the deli to order ahead). When you arrive it is a perfect little store to grab anything natural and along with that they have pre prepared vegan potato salad/cakes and little snacks that are out of this world. We had a vegan oreo cake and a carrot cake that was beyond good. They are like a smaller natural grocery store but even better if looking for that good bite to eat. Even though im vegan they even appeared to have subs that even looked great since all their buns were made in house. A must go to if going through the springs if your more health concious and or just looking for a good grocery store.

This is a small cozy local health food store. Plus they have a little area in the back where you can order homemade soups, salads and sandwiches. I thought the selection of local baked goods and gluten free items was good. Their produce and grocery sections are small but were fun to explore.

Absolutely love this place! The staff are always so friendly and knowledgeable about the local products and I love how theres just a little bit of everything here. I never truly need to go to the crowded grocery store again. Yay!

I ordered a cake for my ladys birthday only to bring it home and be dissatisfied. After bringing the cake back and politely stating my dissatisfaction for said cake, I was told by the manager on duty that they tried the cake and thought it was delicious. She couldnt have been more pretentious. So instead of offering to please my dissatisfaction by making another cake, she offered me half of my money back. I decided to take the lousy 50% refund. While at the register she proceeded to tell me well our baker has a culinary degree and she thinks its delicious so...... So now they will not be getting anymore of my business

We live in Lone Tree but EVERY time we make it to the springs we ALWAYS stop by Mountain Mama’s. Can’t say enough good things about the store and the folks that work there. Their deli is incredible and I HIGHLY recommend the artichoke burger. I can’t leave without some prepackaged snacks and chocolate from Honey Mama’s. We’re looking to move to the springs next year and a big part of why we want to be there is this grocery store!

This place is great for bulk foods. I get my salts, flours and sugars from here. They have a cool little cafe in their as well that is pretty good. Its small and local with a friendly feel

Some items are a little bit pricey but depending on what youre going there to get is well worth it. There are no additives in these things its all natural and if youve got a mouse problem an ant problem ear infection stomach ache no matter what it is they can point you in the right direction theyve got natural help that you need to take care of these problems. Like I said its a little pricey but well worth it and it lasts longer whatever the product is that youre getting you dont have to use as much of it as you would normally have to use such as over the counter medicine or ice cream that you know youre not supposed to have because youre lactose intolerant. I love it. I know that the ice cream I get there I dont have to check the ingredients. I love my salted caramel is made with cashew milk and it doesnt hurt my stomach and everybody is happy. The staff are wonderful friendly and very very helpful they have a kitchen for fresh baked goods...they have a deli there its vegetables and fruits so big that you look at the ones in the stores and wonder what youre buying...I feel you should try Mountain Mamas its a beautiful wonderful Natural place to be...Thank Mountain Mamas!!

Plenty of parking, friendly people, great deli with vegan choices and a large selection of bulk herbs, spices and sundries...*Deli shout out: I got the vegan grilled cheese panini on sourdough and it was amazingly flavorful!

Love the variety and options that Mountain Mama has. Everything from the smoothies to the incense selection is great. Its conveniently located and never too busy.

It is my strong opinion that the soups made at Mountain Mama are the best soups in town! The wraps, sandwiches, burritos, and desserts are delicious and never disappoint. Mountain Mama is a gem!

They were so helpful and gracious - no hesitation - they whipped up an amazing cake and delivered to her for her Birthday and literally made her day! I am so grateful for a company of kind hearted people (every individual that I spoke with was consistently wonderful) that went above and beyond to accommodate my request! These guys are top notch. There’s a cafe inside that makes amazing wraps and sandwiches as well coffee bar offerings. It really shows that it’s a family-owned store. Prices very fair for the quality of the products.

Always love their bulk rice/flour/bean/pasta/spice selection. A great place to shop of you are trying to live a zero waste lifestyle. They also have a great selection of vitamins and extracts, veggie section, and bakery.

It amazes me that this chill little grocery/deli has been here as long as it has. It is a real testament to the staff when a small business survives and grows like this one has. I love coming in and ordering a sandwich or soup to go, and while they make my meal, I can do quick shopping. Yes the prices might be ever so slightly higher, but convenience, and friendly staff make it worth it. And they carry some items that are unique and cant be found anywhere else. Plus their produce is always super fresh!

Mountain Mama is a great place to shop if you like being dehumanized by the staff. This place is hostile towards minorities. One employee followed us around the store as though we were going to steal something. The two women cashiers gave my fiancee and I dirty looks and had aggressive body language. The male cashier who checked us out refused to make eye contact or talk to us and threw our receipt aggressively in our bag.0/10 would not recommend.

They always have golden flax seeds for a decent price.

This is the best local natural grocery weve found. Its super small, but still has a great selection. The prices are reasonable, especially when you compare it to their competition (Natural Grocers, Sprouts, Whole Paycheck (I mean Foods), etc... That and the staff is friendly and seems to enjoy working there.

Omg, I had never heard of this place until recently and I must say I’m very impressed and will definitely be back for another trip! Such a great store to fill all of your natural and vegan needs. I love that they are strict with the products they carry and that the products are checked and ensured to be vegan, natural, and/or organic. The prices are not that bad at all, I was actually impressed with the price points of so many items. I thought it was going to be way too expensive....WRONG! The prices are great! Better than mainstream stores actually! Everyone was super helpful, welcoming, and so knowledgeable! I’m transitioning over to being 100% vegan and I must say this store will definitely be my first go-to for products! Davis was absolutely awesome! Thank you thank you! You guys are absolutely awesome and authentic. That’s a huge plus I’m my book :-)

Friendly staff and good value

The things offered here are always of the highest health and quality. Both whats on the shelves and their deli. Theyve packed an amazingly lot in a small space. During this pandemic I am especially grateful for how well they have handled social distance, and give out disposable gloves as you come in.

Good selection and prices.

The grocery store is pretty great. The prices are reasonable for a local place. The deli’s costumer service is not very good. Two guys who worked there felt more concerned with talking badly about other employees or mutual friends at least. I spoke with who I think was the manager of the deli, she was a little abrupt and rude in my opinion. The original issue being the burritos, they are usually over cooked and you can tell they just leave them under the heat lamp all day. But the rest of the grocery store was not bad, in fact it was delightful, the people who helped me out later in my day made it worth coming back for definitely. I will just avoid the deli!

They dont have the big chain store sales, but what they have is reasonably priced. They carry ready made food, but Ive never tried it. The organic flour, baking yeast(the BEST for bread baking), scented oils & vitamins are reasons I shop here.

This place is my go to for all my natural items. Bath and body, vitamins, bulk items, they have it all. Their bulk selection is huge and they have some obscure things Ive never even heard of so its always a cool learning experience going in. I can always find what I need and the people here are so friendly and welcoming!

This place is odd. The people here are really not particularly friendly or welcoming. The kombucha on tap costs more that the bottled stuff. The cake is 7.50 a slice!. Its nice to have a natural food store near work but you have to shop carefully or you can spend 20 on a few snacks. They serve food in a cafe but they have no public restroom. Just get your stuff and get out?

This is hands down the best shop in this whole city for quality natural supplements. They have every type of homeopathic remedy that Ive ever heard of, and an amazing selection of healthy solutions that Ive never even thought about before. Their bulk section for herbs, roots, and dried plants is just absolutely fabulous, and their prices on bulk items are surprisingly fantastic! I can make my own remedies by buying from the bulk isle and make everything I need for teas, turmeric supplementation for my meals, etc and get enough to use for over a month on less than $20! I highly suggest this method for cost effectiveness. That being said, I do wish the staff were a little more knowledgeable about some of the products they sell there. But for someone who is willing to do their own research, this us the place to go for natural, high quality, and effective products.

I love this place! I have been coming here for years. The deli is the best in Colorado. They have the freshest sandwiches and possibly over 50 different soups! Plus as a bonus the head chef over there is very very nice and super professional.

The products are great. If I’ve ever had a bad experience the management is kind and reasonable. I was frustrated with one experience I had, but no place is perfect and what says everything is how patiently and positively management chooses to handle it. My opinion and mood about this place has made a full 180 because of that!

One of the best organic/natural foods and products store in Colorado Springs, as far as selection, freshness, and quality goes.The customer service leaves a little bit to be desired at times. The staff can seem rude or standoffish occasionally and that seems out of place, especially in this type of store. Please note- This does not happen all the time, and, for that reason, I will continue to shop here but its not where it could be in terms of customer service experience at times. The deli stands out here and offers an excellent choice of sandwiches, deserts (the cakes are incredible), etc., and the customer service has always been superb in this area.I do highly recommend the place...
