Super kind and worked with me as I learned about products. I was stunned that the Golden Sunset came out so red, and seemed to stay red for (what I felt was) a long time - but time is relative to ones learning curve! It took ca three weeks, but this breeze turned out to be exactly as advertised - you just have to let it settle and bleach out a bit. I do wish someone had just said that, but no one did. They just listened to my frustration. And that is super commendable - but I am open to learning if anyone could have said give it 2-3 weeks. Ash said maybe the sample was from another batch - and that came close, but didnt close the understanding gap for me. That doesnt convey that every batch will settle into consistent colors. I truly thank C&C for their patience with me - and I would just - humbly - suggest that they a) forgive my ignorance, and b) maybe explain this to the next guy! Thanks!

Wonderful family run business! Great place to get Barrier boulders/ landscape boulders, $70+ a ton & 120 del fee. Great service. love the ladies working the reception on the landscape side! Even got next day del on a Sat. woo hoo for great businesss like this!

Its a huge lot with a ton of choices to see and look at. They have rock, mulch, dirt, gravel, pavers, stone walls, fountain pieces, and all sorts of outdoor landscape materials. The staff can be very helpful and you can drive up to get your stuff or have it delivered.

I had been in contact with Lizeth at this company for a few days regarding some rock samples I was wanting to look at. Within a day, we had agreed that I would send them FedEx prepaid-overnight packaging, since I was unable to pick up samples in person. After I mailed the packaging, they went silent on me. The packaging was mailed over a month ago, I have reached out to Lizeth on multiple occasions, as well as contacts I have been able to find on the website and no one has bothered to get back to me. Horrible customer service and communication within this company.

Desinty at C&C Sand are amazing. She helped with my summer project (from concrete slab to paver patio and BBQ entertainment area). Destiny assisted with material selection and staging as needed so materials would not pile up on my property. Delivery staff was great as well. As I finished one stage, the next set of materials were delivered. What an amazing staff, they are very patient for first timers, helped with design, and construction questions. Highly recommended…next summer project…front porch!

Ordered 3 different kinds of rock multiple tons of each, over 1/3 of each truck load dropped off was filled with dirt. Terrible customer service and issue handling from upper management. Stay as far away from this place as you can

Customer service is horrible. They cant answer questions at the counter and wont assist with boulders selection. They say they are too busy, and we are not the only customers having problems. Even the manager was no help and said they just dont have people to help or time to pull our selected rocks until the day before delivery, which was a week out, by then the rocks we picked out were no longer identified( with tape), so we would now have to go find new boulders, re identify with tape, and hope that stays in place until the day before delivery, they find time the day before delivery but not the day we pick the rock.

Worst place to come if your a company the girls in the front office dont care and or have any knowledge of landscaping. Waited 10 min on the scale went in the shop and they all laughing in the back asked the lady nicely whats the hold up, all I got was well get to you!

Don’t recommend. Customer service is awful. They don’t return calls or voicemails, they didn’t listen to when my father changed the delivery date and delivered instead on the date he had said originally before changing it. They didn’t call and leave a voicemail on his phone saying that they tried delivering it. Just never showed the next day which was the day he had rescheduled it to, and when he called to see what happened they never answered his calls and voicemails. But when I called off my phone they answered immediately and said that they called him multiple times and knocked on the door and didn’t have the rescheduled date listed. When I asked why they didn’t return his call their reply was, “We’re busy.” Save yourself trouble and go to Pioneer.

Consistently super slow service on the scale. Most employees are not knowledgeable with materials or landscaping in general. This place has gone down hill since siteone took ownership. But still better then Pioneer,

All of the sales personnel at C&C were helpful and attentive during my recent purchase for our little schools new outdoor classroom needs. And today the delivery driver hit customer service out of the park!!! Stewart helped me get into a gate that had been closed for years so that he could dump mulch where it would be easy for me to spread. He was so careful maneuvering his truck in a tiny alley. Awesome driving and help! Thanks so much Stewart...the 4 year olds are going to be so excited to jump and play.

If you want a bunch of extra dirt with your decorative rock, go to c&c. I bought 5 tons of rock and it is sold as washed and screened. It arrive with an unbelievable amount of scree and dirt mixed in. Took 2 people about 4 hours to wash the stone and I ended up with 5 cubic feet of dirt in my driveway, and who knows how much went down the gutter. What a waste of time. Price was decent and delivery was fast. I’ll probably try pioneer next time

I was trying to match rock on our property that was over 20 years old.After driving all over Denver with no success, I contacted Evan Clay at C&C. He suggested we exchange product photos and found a suitable match. Thank you Evan! Additionally I couldn’t have been happier with the service provided Ryan Bryant. In the heat of the day I showed up at the lot with a shovel and about a dozen recycle tubs and buckets to fill. After struggling to load the first tub, Ryan drove up and asked if I would like some help. What a gift! Together we shoveled over 1/2 ton of rock into buckets, which were hoisted onto the back of the truck and then dumped into the tubs. In my thinking, Ryan went above and beyond the call of duty. I’ve shoveled plenty of rock in my days, and was NEVER offered assistance. Honestly, he made my day! Clearly the service at C&C is remarkable.Thank you ever so much,Martha Hill-Rounds

Evan helped me pick out some boulders to be delivered to our townhome complex. The price was excellent and the customer service Evan gave was great. I was very apprehensive about the boulders coming knowing that it was not going to be easy to place them in the landscape but the delivery driver was excellent. He did his best not to block traffic on the main road while he was trying to load his truck. He was excellent at placing the boulders in the landscape exactly how we wanted them without messing anything up. I would highly recommend this company!

Very simple business staff, straight forward, and organized. Gone twice to load up my truck with wood and they have a front end loading that does it for you after selecting. Also, a weight station once your loaded up.

We ordered rock, mulch, and dirt from C & C this year. We placed several orders over the course of several months while we finished landscaping our backyard. Most of the time our experience was pleasant. It seemed to depend on which employee was helping you place the order that day.The delivery drivers were always kind and helpful. The materials seem to be good quality for what we ordered.Prices seem to be a little higher here then some other places, but Im sure it depends on what you are ordering. Overall its seems competitive.

I was in the market to purchase some stone veneer and spoke 3 different times to a young lady in the stone and stucco materials building. Attempts get information on brands, costs and availability of products was like pulling teeth. I also looked in the clearance area and took a picture of the bar and name of a palette of stone veneer and she told me it was $35.00 a sq ft and on clearance, it would be 25% off. The # was: 1BTVBUE0539BX Wood Lake Blend FDL BX CRN. I have a difficult time believing that price. In general, she was short and rude and her body language left not doubt that she really had no intention of being helpful, let alone making a sale. We have lived in Colorado Springs for over 35 years and have purchased materials from C&C Sand many times, and have until now, always had pleasant experiences. There are several other places to purchase the landscaping and stone materials we need and we will be taking our business elsewhere.

Very nice and helpful. They will let you purchase pavers to check the color against your house and then they will let you return them for a full refund. I would recommend doing this because you never know what the color is going to look like up against your house in your environment

Worse company and service! Never will go there again. Pioneer is better service and usually pricing anyways. Screw these guys

I have never written a review before but I just had to share my experience!I originally went to C&C to look at decorative rock. When I was in the yard I noticed that they had some boulders on sale... Ive always wanted to buy a boulder but its a very intimidating process, from cost, to delivery, to having it placed exactly where you want it. I am truly impressed with how easy the experience actually was!When I picked out the boulder that I thought would fit best in my yard I asked the sales person if there was someone who could answer a couple of questions for me about it... Its a rock right; but I wanted to know how much it would cost to deliver it and put it in the exact place that I wanted... within minutes there was somebody to answer all of my questions.The delivery fee was reasonable and the placement fee was next to nothing so I decided to go for it.After spending much of the season landscaping my front yard I was concerned that bringing in this big rock would destroy everything that I had done, but I was wrong! I was willing to sacrifice a couple of plants if I had to but, every single thing that I have planted is still intact and 100%.The delivery driver Joel put the boulder exactly where I wanted it and spent extra time pushing it back and forth to get the best features facing to the street... It looks like it its supposed to be there not like it was placed, its perfect!Im not going to add any pictures right now because I want to wait until my yard is finished... I will put them up later aftergo back to C&C sand and decide which decorative rock I want to orderI gotta work on staying focused... LOL 🤪

Lots of experience here, primarily in the past. Looks like its gone downhill in a few regards. In this instance, I just waited a collective 20 minutes to load a couple yards of mulch, with no luck. Contractors dont have time to wait around, especially when you see operators restacking rock piles. Even called yall to ask to send somebody over, while I waited with the mulch. Lame, guys. I wont go back to ya, even if for convenience. I wrote this after driving 6 minutes to pioneer, took 2 minutes to pay and less than a minute to load. Go to pioneer, folks. 2 stars only for the history.

I recently ordered stone for my hearth from C& C Sand company. They were able to supply custom sizes and the specific thickness that my job required. The material is beautiful and came in just as we ordered it and on time. The men at the front desk, specifically Dale, were very helpful and accommodating. The hearth turned out great!

I own a landscape construction company in the Springs and I love C and C sand. They have a great staff who are willing to help with whatever they can to make your experience a great one. They are knowledgeable, and have a huge inventory, which makes it a 1 stop shop. Although all their locations are great, I always recommend customers go to the location off of Steele because of the massive selection and the friendly staff!

I have been a General in this area for many years, I have been into this establishment 6 total times. never have i been greeted nor have i been helped in seeking what i came for. the last time in the door. I waited while 2 young ladies did their thing. I selected stone and showed one of the employees photos, she directed me to a sample board, by pointing and never leaving her chair. i asked for availability on 2 different products as my customers wanted to use both. I was told she will call on the product as soon as her associate finished checking on a product that supplier had called for her to check on. !5 to 20 minutes later that associate came back and informed her he was doing something else for a customer. Approximately 15 to twenty more minutes passed when he returned with the news she was waiting for. I waited while she called to give Summit the news and checked on my product. She said it will be a bit before they call back because they are busy. ALL TO SAVE HER THE TIME OF MAKING AN EXTRA PHONE CALL ????? I left and called the corporate office and asked for the management person whom would be in charge of this matter. I was transferred, left a voicemail and NOTHING AT ALL

OK so they have a good selection and one good employee (Chris), but the rest of my experience was not very good. I placed my stone on order and was given an estimated arrival day. Two weeks after my estimated date I found out that my stone had been sold our from under me to another customer. More of my stone was available in Pueblo but they wanted to charge to go get it, not to mention that they raised the price of the stone during the two week wait (when it had been sold to somebody else.) Simply mass confusion here, nobody knows what others are doing or selling.

People here are very nice. Wide range of landscaping materials. We have bought large loads, small loads and even bought a small bag of rocks that were mixed varieties. Today we are purchasing a pallet from the managers special area.. great deal!

Not very friendly when I walked in to get help picking out stone veneer for patio columns and couldnt help me figure out how much I needed. When they delivered the boxes to my truck, they gave me a mix of about 5 different types of stone. They had too make three trips just to get me the correct design and then the boxes were half full. They corrected it and filled the boxes for me but make sure to double check your order!

We xeriscaped our front yard and patio and ordered our rock and mulch here. Both the materials and the service were spot on. The product quality exceeded expectations and the delivery was on time. The driver did an excellent job unloading everything where we needed it. Everything was very easy!

Would give no stars if possible. Early June my neighbor had stone delivered. The driver smashed our mailbox. Another neighbor witnessed the damage. Called company and the manager said he will investigate. He has never called back, despite our repeated calls. Time for small claims court? RETURN YOUR VOICEMAILS! Wednesday Morning, I ordered 15 Yards of Mulch. I did not expect it for a couple of days. Not the case. They scheduled same day delivery!

Will never give business to C and C sand again. I have used this company for many years but after my last experience I am done with C and C. Now that a larger company bought Bill out things have changed for the worst. First they have a 30% restocking fee( unbelievable) then I try to return some Hearthstone back and was told it was scratched and they couldn’t sell it, funny but they sold to me with same scratches. Do not go to this business, any problems or concerns will not be taken care of.

I would not recommend this company based on an extremely reckless incident I just encountered. On Friday November 2, a school bus was stopped with red lights flashing and the stop sign out. I was stopped, along with another car waiting. A large C & C truck went around both stopped cars and past the school bus nearly hitting a child. This was in Lorson Ranch, at the intersection of Stingray and Declaration. By the time the bus stop sign was pulled in, I tried to pursue the truck but it was nowhere to be found. Unbelievable disregard for safety, especially in light of recent deaths because of this same type of impatience and idiocy.

Had a little issue in which I was not happy . But now I understand, its the weekend and everyone was trying to get home. at the time It was 4oclock on a Saturday and I was still waiting to be loaded. Waited half an hour. of course i was not happy, its Saturday i want to be home. After complaining, literally not 5 minutes later, someone was already out loading us. Super friendly. I Will definitely be recommending this place and coming back. :)

My go-to place for synthetic stone and block, concrete additives, bar and mesh. Theyre about the cheapest around for the good stuff, but still I feel its a bit more pricey than it should be.

Came in to order stone and was ignored. By the time we got help the girls in the front were more about socializing. One walked out and never can back to finish helping us. So again we waited the next young lady started to help us until her phone rang then proceeded to make plans for the evening. By this time there were several customers waiting. She laughed with her friend and said I better go Ive got a room full of people waiting. Call lasted about 8 mins. Worst customer service ever!!!!!! Still have no idea when or if the can get our stone.

I have been to your C & C location in Castle Rock 4 times in the past two weeks. All but one I dealt with a large guy, I think his name is Steve. Each time he has been extremely dismissive, like he doesnt have time to deal with me. Just saw him again an hour ago for a ton and a half of AA topsoil. I also picked up 3 five gallon (Home Depot) buckets: one of tan breeze and two with 3/4 inch angular rock. Since the breeze and rock costs less than the topsoil, I left it in the back of the truck with the topsoil, weighed it all and went inside to pay. While in their I mentioned to Steve the 3 buckets of breeze and rock. I told him about the three buckets, but since the cost per weight of the breeze and rock was less than the topsoil, I thought it wasnt a problem. At this point he got right in my face saying it was a problem with inventory.

The highlight of this company and experience was with Bill the delivery driver. Everything else was confusing, questionable and concerning.I called in an order for 10 yards, paid for 10 yards per the delivered price over the phone. Upon reviewing the invoice and in less than 24 hrs later the price went up $31.97. When I called to inquire, everyone seemed so confused with no information.

I dont know why I havent been here before!! Ive wasted SO much money at Lowes it hurts my feelings!! This spring we decided to update are backyard and going to C&C Sand was the way to go. As soon as we walked in Tiffany was there to answer all of questions and give some really helpful advice! When it was time to load up our purchase James out in the yard was on top of it with his awesome front loader skills! Thank you C&C you have gained a new lifetime coustomer!!

Disappointed. In this day and age customer service can make or break a company. Apparently, the day I went in was a slow day and still the customer service was unsatisfactory. First, it took 20 min to get anyone to say anything. Second, there was no explanation that the stone we picked would be so drastically different then what we picked (would be glad to provide a picture). Third, if you are not known by the people helping you, youre inferior to them and are talked down on. Fourth, I was charged an extra $100 with no explanation when I went back in to ask for another item.

These hours are rediculous. When is a full time employed person supposed to pick up supplies during the week?

Please read before ordering anything from this company!They ordered us the wrong color of pavers and we didnt realize it until they were installed and washed. They would not give us any money back or take responsibility for the incorrect order.Also, they delivered our order two hours after the three hour window provided resulting in another days cost of renting the plate vibrator and wet saw - $200 extra! Each time we called after our window wondering where our order was, they lied and said it was on its way. We left a message for the manager and our call was never returned.They only gave us our delivery charge back when we physically showed up at the store. They might have some of the best prices, but they end up costing more in the end. Please save yourself a major headache and extra out-of-pocket costs and go with another company.

Called in to get a recomendation and the recommended the wrong rock for what I needed however I spoke with Randy and he determined and matched my rock and came to deliver same day to resolve the issue in a timely fashion. I plan to use them in the future for all my rock needs.

Both times Ive used them in the last year, the gravel was delivered exactly on time, exactly where we wanted it, and a couple bucks under estimate. Almost anti-climatic and boring when one usually expects drama with building suppliers.
