I just wanted to thank Kaleel the butcher for his kindness the other day. He took great care while helping us with something that was deeply important to me and my family. I just wanted him to know that we noticed and we appreciate him so much. If he reads this, hell know what Im talking about. We used to get our spices and things from the Holyland but well be coming here from now on. Top notch, this place. Plus, it smells incredible inside, lol!

Very organized and very well put together. A great and very vast selection of goods. Were from the middle east region so we feel like back in home. Great job guys and very nice cashiers! Very satisfied customer experience every time.

Fun experience for Americans or anyone not especially familiar with Arabic foods and items. Prices are pretty good here and they have new items there from time to time though I dont come here often. I like some spices like sumac that you cant get at regular stores. Also great to find things from other countries there as well as useful and cultural items.

A delightful little market with a nice selection of Balkan and Middle Eastern foods. Its a source for fruit syrups, including black currant, and for jams and sweets. The selection of non-alcoholic beers and ales is large. There are spices and other ingredients that are hard to find in American grocery stores. Prices are often substantially lower for products that do show up in mainstream groceries, and items that other grocery store might offer in tiny quantities can be found in big packages or jars. Were into cooking Austrian foods, many of which originated in the Balkans, and we enjoy some Middle Eastern recipes, so we shop here several times a year.

One of the best and most reliable(halal) places in entire Metro area. Always fresh, prices are at least 20-40% lower than the competition, very friendly staff list goes on and on... I drive 30 miles one way bypassing at least 5-6 stores on my way just to buy my meat/spices/groceries from this place. Owner is very open minded and if theres something that customer asks and he doesnt carry, he makes sure to order it with his next delivery and lets the customers know when its in. Strongly recommend!

I have been a customer for past 7 yerars. This place changed the Butcher recently. With new butcher, this place is the worst meat place you could see. Meat is not handled properly. They try to sell the rotten product to us. Butcher does not even know how to cut the meat. I would suggest giving even 1 out of 5 is waste of it. But have to give something. If given a chance, i would give 0.00000001/5.;

Fresh food and meat, even carries spices. Staff are nice and very helpful. Place is very clean and no funny smells like other markets with meat department in them.

Ive been going to Jerusalem Market store for many years. The selection is fantastic and the customer service is A-1☆☆☆☆☆. Whether you know little or alot about Seven Spice, Naan, Arabic eats, Hummus, Tahini, Spices, Basmati, Lebanese eats,....etc. This store has everything you would ever need to create authentic fantastic dishes. Huge selection at the best prices. The meat market has a fresh selection and they even offer a frozen food section.

Shortly before Ramadan this year, I noticed that Harbio brand gummy candies were on a retail shelf for sale. This particular brand is typically found at generic gas stations and area grocery stores throughout the metro. It is typically sold as a generic/standard confectionary product. No references are made to halal or kosher dietary restrictions anywhere on the outside package. One of the main ingredients for this product is gelatin. For an establishment that caters exclusively to a halal food market, the actual presence of the Harbio brand is alarming. When gelatin is listed as an ingredient without explicit references to halal or kosher dietary restrictions, it is therefore conclusively derived from pork or some related mixture.The vast majority of consumers at Jerusalem Market are Muslims which explains why the establishment specializes in the sale and distribution of halal foods. Muslim consumers trust the ownership to perform proper due diligence to ensure that products such as Harbio are not on the shelves and are indeed Halal. Say for example if a child notices a package of Harbio gummy candies and takes it to their parent/guardian for purchase, there is great potential the product will be consumed without verifying the ingredients.When I brought this matter to the attention of a supervisor, I was informed the product in question is grouped together in a larger reoccurring shipment from a Turkish supplier based in Germany. The fact of the matter is that just because a Turkish wholesale distributor sends shipments of halal majority product is also in no way a guaranteed indication that each individual product will be exclusively halal.The people managing Jerusalem Market must perform a better job at halal due diligence when screening out pork based products from their store inventory provided if this issue has not already been corrected.

I normally dont like visit this store. The reason why i avoid this store because of the person in charge of the meat department. He is very rude, teases and talks lot of rubbish. Went back again after a year(sorry its my mistake but it is one of the stores in Minneapolis where you get non-frozen meat) That same bad ass was there and he totally intimidated me. I almost got so irritated at certain point and I just walked out of the store. He is such an idiot. I will never return to this store.

Shan Allah! relax on the pricing on butcher side, when i order meat,chicken,lamb i understand its hala. But its not hala with that type of pricing. You think we live in beverly hills or dubai calm down on your pricing.
