The selection was decent and the staff was nice. They helped make some suggestion which I definitely appreciated. I just picked up a few bottles and didn’t grab anything on tap. The prices seemed average, nothing special. My only wishes would be a more expansive bottle selection and prices for bottles a little cheaper for example when shopping there a bottle of Unfiltered Wheat would cost you 1.75 (10.50 six pack) when in reality it should be like 1.33 ( a typical 7.99 boulevard six pack not on sale).

I love coming to the craft beer cellar with my pupper. Thats right, an indoor, dog friendly establishment!They have a great selection of draft beer and a wide variety of canned and bottled beer for purchase. They have various events throughout the week which is a great opportunity to go out with some friends.The staff is all friendly and knowledgeable about the beer that they sell and serve!

Staff is always helpful. Nice to have a pour while you look around but the selection can be pretty thin (or at least seem thin from holes in the cooler area) from time to time. Overall, its a great place and I always like to at least pop in and take a look.

Great place for local and domestic craft beers. Dan, the owner, knows his stuff and is excellent at recommending beers. There is always something going on (from Science on Tap and Talking Pints to games nights and live entertainment). If you cannot find what youre looking for they can let you know why (ie, out of season, no longer made, etc.) or order it for you if it is possible.

We love this place! Always something new to try. Will, Bonnie and the rest of the crew are patient and happy to give their valuable opinions. The dog is welcome here. It feels sort of like home with more options! Our go to place.

Craft Beer Cellar has really become more of a bar/hangout space than a beer store. The staff are great and knowledgeable, and they often get in some great beers you cant find other places. But if youre expecting a huge selection of cans and bottles, you may be a bit disappointed.

Been coming here on a weekly basis for almost 2 years now, figure it’s about time I left a review. The craft beer cellar is my home away from home- the staff are super friendly and treat their regulars like friends, always super helpful and always seem like they love their jobs. The selection is the best in columbia and changes regularly so you’ll always find something new to try and experiment with. They run great deals all throughout the week such as half priced flight night and it’s always a great value. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the CBC; they’re even one of the only dog friendly businesses in Columbia and I love being able to take my dog in with me while I’m on the go. 5/5, if you haven’t been here yet, why not?

Awesome beer bar with a good selection of drafts and even better selection on the floor with bottles and cans. To compliment that, the bartenders are super cool and there are an assortment of board games available to play. Definitely one of my favorite places to go in Columbia.As of March 2019, my favorite bar in Columbia has closed :(

This place has an amazing selection of beer! You can make a mix-six with anything in store, and the staff is knowledgeable and can help you find the perfect beer for your tastes. Also, its really enjoyable to sit at the bar or at a table because you can easily have a conversation or play a game with your friends.

This is a very nice and casual establishment. It is a little below street level so window viewing is not a feature. Large and roomy area with a good variety of craft beers. Available to take away also.

Great, local bottle shop with lots of seasonal and hard to find offerings. Helpful staff and a nice selection of draft beers plus a large cooler. Most everything can be bought as singles for mixed packs, not just old inventory like most places.

There are plenty of places to buy beer in a college town, but good craft beer from lots of different places, thats harder to find. CBC has an awesome selection of local, regional, and national craft beers. The staff is also very knowledgable. I was in recently on a Saturday to pick up some shandy or something refreshing, but I couldnt find any shandy in the cold case. One of the staff members suggested I try the grapefruit radler from Stiegl, so I thought what the heck. Man was it good! Ask the staff for suggestions and try them out, they know what theyre doing.
