Excellent experience with this repair store! Get me wet mac repaired in minutes and I am the lucky one that the spilled water did not really damage my laptop. The service is nice and efficient. The most important thing is it is much cheaper than Apple Store and Apple Store dont do in Store repair, they just send that back to the factory and cost $800 for that.

Very pleased with their service. My computer contracted a virus that required my computer to be scrubbed cleaned and start fresh. They were able to back-up all my work data which would have been a massive loss to my company. The staff was very polite, helpful, and really did a great job. I am very pleased and will go back for future needs.

MicroByte has been terrific. I couldnt be happier with my new system. they reviewed my needs, then provided me with solid options across the board. I feel like this was a system we built together, and I felt comfortable at every stage in the process. Theres a world of difference between doing something like this on your own, versus having the chance to chat with someone that can build EXACTLY what you want from start to finish.

Very helpful. They diagnose the problem and offer better solutions than what you went in assuming. Theyre fair, they dont take advantage. I mean, I cant really convince you of that, but youll be able to tell when dealing with them. I was happy with my file restoration and repair of laptop that wouldnt previously load Windows. Would always return!

Great - son cracked his Mac Book Pro screen 3 weeks in. Went to Apple - nearly $500 and would take 3 days. MicroByte was $199 (including tax after yelp discount) and took less than 2 hours (we went to Longhorn during the wait). Screen looks awesome. Perfect transaction.

My computer had been getting slower for weeks and was finally unusable. Computer repairmen have a reputation only slightly better than used car salesmen, but MicroByte returned it in a day, cleaned and fixed and fast again and for a piddling $145. Very satisfied....Then (this was two months later) I returned from out of town to discover the computer was almost paralyzed; it froze and announced not responding after a few keystrokes. So I took it in, and they fixed it -- and, to my amazement, didnt charge me! They said it was a do over. Even more satisfied....

Great customer service. Timely and professional. Was in a bind to get my computer fixed, warranty with geek squad but it would take them 2 weeks to fix the problem. MicroByte said no worries and took care of me on the spot. What would have took 2 weeks took these guys 2 hours. Really grateful to have found them. Thanks again guys!

This was not my first stop it was in fact my third. The other two treated me with disrespect and looked at me as if I was crazy for keeping my old computer. They told me that nobody works on them and there were no parts or software... I already knew better. Anyway I like it . I like vintage things. So if you’re sentimental like me or just have a newer computer with a problem come on down and these guys will treat you well!

Microbyte was great! They gave me a free consultation to explain what the problem is and how much it will likely cost. Once I agreed to go ahead with getting my laptop fixed, They were very quick with getting it fixed and back to me. They also let me keep the old screen and walked me through everything they were going to do to fix it and how they tested it (because I was interested). The best part though, as a student with a need for my laptop during and after classes, they were VERY helpful in working around my schedule and being quick. I dropped off my laptop in the morning and they had figured out the problem before my classes started in the afternoon. Then I dropped my laptop off again in the morning when the new part came in and they had it all fixed before my classes started.GREAT SERVICE! You need to go to MicroByte if you have computer problems.

I have a network that runs like a top most of the time. However sometimes for whatever the reason things go haywire, Well then I call MicroByte and they usually fixit within a couple hours. I love how that get things back up and running quickly. If you need good service their awesome!

Definitely go see these guys for your computer issues. They went above and beyond what I asked of them. Had a four year old sony VAIO that needed a battery replacement. They stayed in great communication with me - I needed this done ASAP because I was leaving town, I never felt like I was a nuisance for checking in with them. They were polite and professional. My computer came back cleaned, and they also fixed some dings and cracks on it free of charge. This was my first time ever getting a computer fixed up, and Im glad I went here instead of best buy (they were the first place I considered going to) which had pretty dismal consumer reviews. All in all had a great experience with A Plus, will definitely use them for later issues!

Worst Experience ever!!!! Do not ever take your computer to this place unless you want them to do work that you dont authorize and then have them bill you for it. We took our computer in in May to have the connector looked at and three months later we got it back after they did not communicate at all. First of all they never called us to let us know what was wrong and when we contacted them they told us they were monitoring it, then after a few more weeks went by we called and asked about it and they had sent it to Sony without our permission to replace the motherboard. After having it for several more weeks we called and they said that the wifi wasnt working and had sent it back to Sony again without our permission. They then wanted us to pay for the work that we did not authorize.DO NOT TAKE ANY WORK THERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TO PAY FOR WORK YOU DO NOT AUTHORIZE 3 MONTHS AFTER YOU DROP IT OFF!!!!

I have only ever written one other review, and that was of a restaurant in Lexington. So taking time to write this review says a lot about MicroByte.Microbyte and their team are knowledgeable about both Mac and PC computers though my experiences with his store have been with Mac computers. Living in Irmo, I dreaded going to other stores and waiting forever at the Apple store to have a computer genius look at my mac, so needless to say, I was thrilled to discover a computer repair store near me. Over the course of this year I have taken two different Mac Book Pros to the Microbyte: once for an upgrade, a second time to replace a broken screen, and a third time to replace the computer battery. In each case, I was treated kindly and respectfully. Their prices were very reasonable and they completed their work within a few days for each repair. I cannot recommend MicroByte enough.

Id highly recommend this place for anyone in the area.

My experience with Microbyte Computer Center was like paying to have my laptop trashed. there was no technician with working knowledge. I got my laptop back in a cardboard box and it looked like to me a child had disassembled it and he didnt have a clue how to reassemble it. every time I called about my device the price went up. I was told they had to do this and that when in fact they did nothing but destroy it. My friend never be so weak as to put your device into these idiots hands

Two stars because they werent rude when I spoke to them, but they wanted $20 for a $7 tube of Arctic Silver. WAY overpriced.

Accidentally bent some of the pins on my motherboard during a processor changeout and Sam fixed it within several hours for $40. Saved me from buying a new motherboard for $150 and waiting several days.

Just got my computer back from MicroByte, and not only is the FBI virus gone, but he was able to locate and remove other hidden viruses, as well as sped up my operating system and give my computer a nice cleaning.
