Extremely rude place to shop. The lady working there was very rude and if I didnt need the tap shoes immediately then I would have shopped somewhere else. I was quite surprised by the service and by the sales persons personality. No tact or hospitality whatsoever. First time and last time that we will ever shop here. We will never go back.

2019 I came here because I got shoes off Amazon that didn’t fit. The lady that helped me was very kind and friendly. Thank you so much 😊 If I ever get to do ballet again I’m definitely coming back!

Very good service. The girls who work there helped me get my tap shoes and my ballet shoes. They even gave us reasonable prices for them!

Before I entered, I was a bit hesitant due to feeling weird being a single dad walking into a dance outfit store. However my daughter lost her gymnastics outfit and I was out of luck finding a same-day replacement at the big box stores. When you approach the building, the entrance has a bit of a fairytale vibe to it. Once I entered, I was immediately greeted by a friendly woman behind the counter. She asked if I needed help, which I admit I did. She instantly was able to point me in the right direction of leotards that were in my daughters size that could be used for gymnastics. Overall the store has a great selection for both dance and gymnastics outfits, and will be sure to visit them again for all my daughters gymnastics outfit needs. Recommend checking this place out, instead of going somewhere else or ordering from Amazon.

There was a misunderstanding with what the young lady told me and what she thought she may have said to me so when I had my daughter call back she had the nerve to say to my daughter I said to youll that the store didnt have any more transition shimmer tights now thats two people with two ears which makes four ears that heard nothing like that so for that to be such a simple mistake on her the cashier end I dont get it at all like just say I may have forgotten to say that or something dont just tell no one I told you when I know and my daughter know you never said such a thing like that,sorry but not sorry be more careful with words.

This is the greatest place to buy dance shoes in the Midlands!! My granddaughter is in her 13th year of dance, and since the studio she attends, no longer carries shoes, this is where we go. Its about a 40 minutes drive from home, but we can walk in, have her fitted, and out the door in 10 minutes. They are always so professional, welcoming, and courteous. I would recommend them highly to anyone!

If youre of any race other than Caucasian, DO NOT shop here! My sister and I took my two- year - old here today to be fitted for tap and ballet shoes. First thing, NO ONE, greeted us when we walked in. Ok, fine, so we browsed around for a little bit while my daughter played with the toys they had. One of the sales associates was helping anther customer checkout while the other assisted another customer (Caucasian) and her daughter with trying on tap shoes. Second thing, it took them a good five minutes to ask me if I needed assistance, and I advised her that I needed to have my daughter properly fitted for tap shoes. She talked to me as if I were some type of idiot that didnt know the difference between the different types of tap shoes. Third thing, the associate that was helping the lady and her daughter with trying on tap shoes was completely engaged with the mother and daughter, even down on the floor to the little girls level to assist her with trying her shoes on. No problem, Im patient. When it came time for my daughter to try on her shoes, she handed me the stocking footie and the shoes for me to do it myself! That was it! I left the store without purchasing anything, I REFUSE to give these racists my business OR money! Very poor customer service!

Today I came in with to get my granddaughters tap shoes and get fitting for my first pair. The female assistant was Condescending and Arrogant towards to my 3 year old granddaughter and myself. If I didnt need the dance shoes today I would have left. Further more the younger female within the store had shorts on where extremely inappropriate for any age.

Fantastic shop! Went in after many folks recommendations looking for items for my daughters first dance class and all the personnel were very friendly and helpful! They fitted my daughter for ballet shoes and tap shoes, got her fitted for leotards and had already picked out the right fitting tights before we even got to the counter. I was VERY pleased and have since gone back to purchase more items and will continue to be a patron.

My daughter and I walked in around 2:30/2:40 today to buy some items for her upcoming dance events. No one said anything. Not a Hello, not a Welcome to Turning Pointe, not anything. We walked around the store for about 7/8 minutes, found what we looking for and no one still didnt offer to help us. I put the item back where I got it from and left the store because its obvious they didnt need my business.

These gals really know their stuff! Im always clueless, but they save me each time!

Customer service is usually great. This time we received no greeting, no help at all. Good thing we knew what we were looking for. My 11 year old even wondered when staff would stop talking and help us.

Sold my daughter her first pair of pointe shoes. Her teacher said they were way too small. When we went to return them, the sales person didnt even ask why or offer to fit her in a shoe that fit.

Got my first pair of latin dance shoes here, so it holds a special place in my heart. Honestly though, if youre looking for Mens dance shoes I would go with Jose Botta and order online. Plastic soles > suede. Love Turning Pointe, I do. But not gonna steer you wrong.

The lady that handled my transaction must have a thing for putting change in your hand. When i paid for my items she put my change on the counter to pick up. This is the most rude and disrespectful way of customer service! If my daughter didnt need her leotard for the very next day i wouldve gladly found some other place that would appreciate my business! If you dont enjoy customer service find another job all types of people from different ethnic backgrounds shop!!!

Funny about the last review because I experienced the EXACT same thing. Me and my daughter walking in and we barely got greeted...my husband (Caucasian) walked in a few steps behind up and they IMMEDIATELY asked him if he needed assistance. He said no Im just here paying for them (me and our daughter) and they said oh and walked away!!! The whole vibe they all gave off from the time we walked in to the time we made our purchase and left was a bit insulting. I will not be going back as there are others I would prefer to spend my money with. I swear nowadays it feels like customer service is dead.... Shameful.
