Weve had 4 rings for less than 2 years and they have all had to be repaired twice each. They wont return them, swap them, or take any off the account that charges $100 in interest a month. They also sign you up for promotions you did not ask for.
Great experience Kevin the manager was great. He help find a ring that I bought originally for my wife over 30 years ago in another store. He order the ring and is having it size for me and I hope to have it for a special occasion that I have planned. I recommend Zales as the jewelry store to go to for your jewelry needs.
My 5 stone was taken in to be resized. The lady that helped me choose how small to go was very pleasant, and after we discussed how my hand fluctuates through the day in regards to my ring finger, and we went with a quarter size and not a .5 or 0

Calvin, the store manager, was really rude when I had called to get my transaction information straightened out. I just wanted to get everything figured out before heading to the store and he was extremely rude, snappy, and accusatory. He fought with me when there was nothing to fight about. I have been a loyal customer for a while now, and have never dealt with an employee that rude, shocking that it was the store manager.
I have been a customer and a card holder the past 7 years, I bought my wife’s wedding band and mine from Zales and has continued shopping there. This past Valentine Day, I went to shop for an earring for my wife at the Columbia, MD mall. I presenting the earring, found to be defective, my wife took it back to be fixed and was promised 2 weeks to be ready. She went back on the agreed date and found out that it was not fixed. This time she requested a replacement earring. On the agreed date, the store manager was the POC, he requested that I will have to pay more money, $127 difference even though the earring was less than the original one I purchased. At this time, I felt that the manager was playing games and not being helpful. Just want to let you know that Zales lost a valued customer, my wife never got the gift I presented. Ms. Carroll has been our Jewelry lady for years and we deal with her all the time because of her great customer service. She tried to help out the situation and even told my wife she will inform her if the earrings are reduced in price. FYI, Zales does not have monopoly of the market.
I love this jewelry store! They have the best jewelry prices throughout the whole Mall in Columbia. Sales people are very friendly and not trying to push customers to buy something they do not want/need. Have sales periodically. I had made several purchases here. Will certainly come back for more in the future. Sincerelly recommend this jewelry store to everyone. Special thanks go to Carol :)
My boyfriend and I have been here a few times now from purchasing my promise ring to picking it up then today we went there to have it cleaned. All of the times we went there we were helped by Carol and she is an absolute sweet heart. When we went there today she hugged us, at first I thought she recognized us but she was just that friendly. She happily cleaned my ring and she happily asked us if we needed anything else and told us to have a happy holidays and new year. Seriously, customer service at its finest. I would gladly go back to her and recommend her for any jewelry needs

Great Customer Service, hands down! Although it’s located near the food court and the kid playground, the store is very serene, warm and welcoming. They repaired my broken jewelry at no cost even though I haven’t had the piece serviced in years. Thanks Kelvin!!
Carol is the woman! I always get great service when I come in and especially if Carol is there. By now Carol knows what I like, and is excited when something new comes in that she thinks I would be into. But she is not so pushy that I feel uncomfortable to come in just to look. The pieces I have accumulated are beautiful and I get comments on them whenever I where them out.
AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! Carol was so KIND and PATIENT with me she let me browse and ask a thousand questions (lol) she was right there with me SMILING from start to finish with my purchase, very helpful with sizing and proactive in responding about the turn around time for having my ring sized.

My fiance and I went into Zales recently to purchase our wedding bands. Because we had decided to only do bands, the shopping really didnt take long because we didnt have to take time matching to an engagement ring. We also decided we didnt want to match, so we each picked our own. The sales person, Chris, was very patient and sweet. My fiance picked his ring very quickly, but I needed some more time/choices, all in all, it probably took probably took us 15-20 minutes to choose. But she was helpful in having a conversation with me about which one I would be most comfortable with. I didnt feel pressured into choosing the most expensive one that I had looked at, I felt she really wanted me to genuinely enjoy my choice and be comfortable with it. Anyway, we purchased the rings and were a little bummed because his would be 4-6 weeks and we didnt expect it to be that long-we are doing a courthouse wedding and have to plan around the arrival of the rings- so we paid and went home. I was curious to see if the rings were online because I hadnt taken a picture of mine... it turns out, his was being sold for $80 less online and mine would be $20 less because of an online promotion. We couldnt pass that up. So we took the rings back to the store. We felt terrible because Chris had been wonderful and really worked well with us, she had assisted us in our return as well. They forgot to give us a return receipt but that is okay, because we went back and they had it ready for us. I truly enjoyed my shopping experience there, they knew our names when we returned and when we called about our receipt and I really think that means something (I too am in sales and know my customers love when I call them by name). Anyway, we plan to return to Zales when we have future jewelry needs and hope Chris is there as well!
My wife bought a watch for me as a gift that we decided to return. I went on a Saturday afternoon, waited for 15 min to return the watch and was told they couldn’t accept the return without my wife being there even though the receipt showed a cash purchase which seemed odd. My wife and I went in a few days later together, this time they took the receipt and didn’t ask any questions about who made the purchase, but this time they didn’t have cash to make the refund and told me it would be a few weeks to get a check mailed to us. This was extremely inconvenient and just seemed like they wanted to make it as difficult as possible to make a return. Horrible customer service and we won’t be making any other purchases here.
Have had 2 great experiences at this zales! First for my engagement ring and then for our wedding bands. Kelvin is a friendly manager and carol helped us with our sales both times! What a great team! Felt like we got quality individual attention in our searches both times and carol even remembered us with over a year between visits! What a great buying experience.

If I could I would give them zero stars I brought my husband a watch from them they did nothing for me I waisted my money because the watch did not work will never ever buy anything else from them will be going to Jared from know on zales need to learn customer service wish I had know what I know now and I should have called the better business bureau

I had ordered a promise ring for my girlfriend. It was a nice ring; however my girl dropped it and broke one of the diamons off. Since i have the warranty i brought it so it could be fixed. As soon as i walked in i was greated by the staff. They were able to help me out without much problem. I have bought some stuff from zales and i can never complain about their quality or customer service. Definately a good experience like always
Had been there to buy ring for my wife. They are always very nice.
The prices and jewelry are very high quality for the prices but the service is terrible. I had purchased an engagement ring for my fiancée and they needed to transfer the warrantee and with one person working on it for about 1/2 an hour, she had to call in another employee to help her which then took another half an hour to actually get the warrantee transferred.
