I came here to get vaccinated and it was super easy. They took me as a walk in and were so nice.Someone got angry and wrecked one of the aisles, picture attached.Good grocery store too - I generally don’t like the generic brand here as much as the one at Harris Teeter, but it’s not bad and it’s very affordable.

Usually a good place to shop. I saw a live fly trapped in the bagel display .I informed a lady in the bakery because i thought they might want to change the bagels but someone just let the fly out and left. Hmmmm

I love giant food but this location is one of the worst I’ve been to. If the produce is not already bad sitting on the shelf, it goes bad in 2 days after you buy it. They’re always out of certain juices or sodas. Everytime Ive done giant pick up here, Ive had the same staff member who is super friendly and makes awesome substitutions for my order ….but a lot of other staff members inside have BAD attitudes. My giant pick up girl is the ONLY REASON I gave 3 stars otherwise I would’ve given 1.

Always a pleasure going to this particular Giant. I go to the self checkout here even if I have ton of groceries.They have everything I need everytime I go there..The meat selection has been fresh and never had an issue. The items on sale that I wanted were always there. Thanks, Giant..

You really don’t need no help in here because they have signs. If you don’t find something you looking for employee direct you the aisle but their answer be “if you didn’t see in there, we are out” I guess they don’t have a system they can check the inventory. Overall this is my favorite neighborhood place to do the grocery.

This is not our usual grocery store, and the location has some iffy history but it was on the way. They had the sales advertised that we were interested in and their meat section looked fresh and competitively priced. The store looked clean especially for one of the older/original buildings. When we got in line an associate opened another lane 5 min into our wait so we were able to check out quickly. The cashier was fast, courteous & professional. All in all we had a very good experience.

I love Giant in this area. Well stocked, good sales and coupons. Overall good service and the curbside pickup shopping is easy to use with the app and I have had great service with it over many orders.

Whomever is in charge of the produce section needs to be fired. All the veggies were seemingly going bad. More than 1/2 of the station for produce bags were empty. 3/4 of the produce weighing stations were broken. 2 giant employees stocking some produce and walking through the section weren’t wearing masks. The scan yourself stations were broken, the cashier checking us out didn’t even offer to bag and just kept shoving the food down the ramp for us to bag. Ridiculous. There is some major training and technology issues here. I can only assume that the managers don’t care and the store owners won’t put any money in to fix the store. It’s been like this for a while.This is our local giant. Not going to this store again until they clean up their act. Maybe never again.

It’s an older Giant but they do a decent job. The way the store is setup is the only major downfall it can be confusing where things are located. Service is good otherwise and store always seems clean.

I never write reviews but this needs to be known. I witnessed a manager talk extremely rude and disrespectful to a cashier at self checkout last night. The young lady (cashier) stayed professional the entire time however, the manager does not need to be in that position. I do not know if this was racially motivated or what but I felt really bad for the cashier and not to mention it was extremely unprofessional. I stayed at the store a little longer until the manager walked away from her because I didnt know if the cashier was safe! Currently on the phone with the corporate office because something needs to be done!

Customer service here is not great but the deals are pretty good.

They got the place set up for safety... Clearly marked travel paths for isles and social distancing stripes in the lines makes me feel like Giant is looking out for us... Staff was very aware and able to help almost instantly... Thanks...

I am giving it only a one star because the cashier was very rude with me and to my surprise She wasnt rude with the person in front of me or the one behind. I felt that She treated me different and what was upsetting is that my 12 yrs old Daughter was with me and had to go thru that at such a young age. I had to explained to my Daughter that although She was born here in the US. She is not welcome everywhere because of our race, sadly it is an everyday issue for me as a legally inmigrant.Note: I hope that Gloria the manager is not the same cashier because She is the worse customer service person I have encounter.

I meet the magic age for shopping at 6 am. Not crowded then. Shelves of food and paper products are coming back. So, Im happy.

Check out was always easy. Ive had to get help with the store made lunch combos and the checkout assistant was always so kind and patient with me.

So, it was an intuitive Giant food store. I love a few other grocery stores in my area. But youll see a review from me later if those places. I havent been to a grocery store since the pandemic started and a person from my church orders groceries from harris teeter for me ahead of time bc I use an independence card. And they will let us do an order for pickup at the store up to a week ahead of time. Harris teeter doesnt always have what Im looking for but they have a good thing going. 4 out of 5 stars. Now as for Giant food like I started talking about. They were very friendly and courteous and had great deals on their efferdent and store bought 85ct dishwashing packs. I dont know about you but I dont do my dishes but once every week and a half you cant beat that 85tabs for 7$ friendly ppl there ..Friendly ppl

I have been coming to this store for over 20 years and the experience just goes down hill which each visit. Today, was the last straw. The store was crowded. They had ONE register open. I was told people called out. What is the excuse, then, for all the other times you have one register open. If you are lucky, there are two lanes open and its a miracle with three. Most times, it is one or two, at least when I go, and I go ALOT!. Today, many people had to crowd into the self checkout. Social distancing you say? LOL AND A DOUBLE LOL. We were packed in there like sardines. When I was done, I could not get out due to all the carts blocking. Three people were working, if you want to call it that, in that area. It was so very clear, they were just there to collect a paycheck. The best part of all is that I realized I could not purchase a gift card in the self self-checkout. A worker offered to do it for me and to come to her register in the self-checkout workers station. When I got there, she was not. My card was sitting on the counter and a man said he would take care of it. Instead, he helped someone at the self checkout for quite a while while I stood there. He then decided to give my card, to another worker who was talking to someone whom I thought was another employee. At any rate, worker #3 saw me standing there for about another three minutes. I looked at her, since she was ignoring me, and said I cannot wait any longer for her to let me purchase my card. She said nor did nothing;she just let me walk out with not so much as an apology and I will help you. Mind you, Ive had many bad experiences but this is the first time I called the manager to complain. I got nothing but lip service. I wouldve expected a customer who they see on an almost daily basis would have at least been offered a gift card. Nope, notta...nothing. The only reason Ive tolerated their horrible customer service is because I live nearby and I know where everything is. I may go in for one thing if I am in a rush or desperate but my main shopping will be conducted elsewhere. I hope other who have had similar experience take their business to a store that appreciates their business.

Its a Giant. Its clean, and they have the regular assortment of groceries. The people behind the deli are nice, though there arent usually people on the floor to help out. They recently changed the self check outlines, and things seem to be running smoother. Its a nice place.

This store is conveniently located to the Middle of Columbia, MD. It is also next to a Liquor Store and Gas Station ⛽. So you can take care of multiple errands at the same time.

This used to be my go to store in my neighborhood BUT not after today. Not sure if it was the current crew working or if this is the new normal but no one was sanitizing the carts after they was used or before the new customer entered the store. I do know that it is apart of Giant the companies new process because they do it at other locations. This lady was just just standing looking irritated and wasnt doing anything but leaning up against the way. They did have hand sanitizer available, I had my own so used it. This just gave me an uncomfortable feeling. I was already in the store and decided to get the few things I came there but I will not be returning. I will have to go to their competition in the area just because they are taking the extra steps to make customers feel comfortable during this time. I will still go to the Giants location near my job, but this one lost me as of today!

Exactly as you expect for a big name grocery store! Fairly clean most of the time and veggies are fresh.

Prices are high, store isnt the most well organized, bathroom was falling apart. 30% of the carts are falling apart. Checkout was slow, and it wasnt even that busy.

I went to both Hair Cuttery and Giant both locations were very clean and very friendly stylist and grocery associates also. Definitely going back

Has everything I need in a grocery store. The self-checkout registers are a real help. Unlike most places, these self-checkout registers have a 8-foot long belt which slides your groceries to the bottom. Usually, there is an employee who goes by and bags your items for you...usually. When the bagger is available, it definitely speeds up the process.

Stays open till midnight. Staff is decent since they got RID of that old dry, stiff faced blonde witch. They keep goodies on the clearance shelves in the back near the restrooms. Another with cold foods near the butter & yogurt. Your welcome 😊

My neighborhood giant. I love the people who work here. Very kind. I know store like back of hand. If u want real fresh produce its a toss up 50/50 though. Take your chances here. I really like their whole food organic section. Its my place to shop minus produce at times. Oh and bakery goodies and breads are usually very fresh and fancy.

Its a good little giant. not as many choices but enough. im mostly vegan but when i did eat meat and fish some cuts were lacking. i prefer a smaller store but if you want all choices and more produce go to a big

Just a normal visit so just an average rating. Nothing especially good or bad. Maybe that is especially good in the era of COVID-19?

Very small, limited variety. Fortunately, easy to navigate. On principal I dont want to go there because the (very small) Asian food section is marked Chinese Food, which would be less offensive if it were 1950.

This quality store has an attractive interior and helpful staff. They generally stock everything youll need. They dont have as much variety of specialty foods (ethnic foods, special-diet items, etc.) as Wegmans, but for quality, affordable produce, theyre hard to beat.

The grocery store has friendly helpful employees, but the restroom needs an upgrade and a deep cleaning!

This giant is OK. There cakes could taste better. The produce section isnt the greatest. I think this store needs a good wipe down and some mopping. It smells in there.

My local giant that I always go to. A decent international section. Cashiers are always pleasant & friendly. Easy parking.

Small but inclusive non-dairy selections. Friendly and helpful staff. Large aisles. Ample parking and parking spaces. Convenience stores, spirits shop, and 2 banks near by. Over all, quite nice.

I regularly find good deals on fresh meat, milk, and deli items. I tend to buy most of my produce at wegmans because their selection is superior. this giant is easy to get into and out of the parking lot because it has two separate entrances.

Great store, friendly staff, well stocked. Ive never gone looking for something and not found it. Having little mini shopping carts for kids helps keep my kids entertained and helpful when Ive got a lot of shopping to do.

Been shopping there for many years. Most of the cashiers and floor folks are pretty decent people. Good variety of food, sometimes pricey, but all in all pretty fair.

I like this store....live close byHowever...the pricing can be ambiguous when use small print underneath...Wegmans... does not do this.....and their produce is so much better....i would recommend for Giant not to make higher profits by using small print ....in essence.....let the customer leave your store knowing they did not get cheated......So....i am considering shopping at Wegmans instead of Giant even tho it is further from my home when getting large order.

At quick check young lady named Auja had outstanding customer service. Young lady in produce working around 7 was awesome help me locate some delicious cotton candy grapes.

Its a good store although I went there as much to use the PNC Bank ATM to get cash. I bought some groceries I planned to get anyway and got cash back. Not as much as I intended to get from the ATM, though. Giant: good. PNC: shape up.

Nice place for grocery shopping. The staff even start to recognize you if you come in often. The parking lot can sometimes be a mess, but when you get past that, the market is pretty solid. They are currently hiring for all positions (so low on staff) and things may move a little more slowly, but thats understandable. The restrooms are a hit or miss as far as cleanliness. The items from their bakery are quite satisfying. I love that the organic and gluten free sections are near the front.

Good service people with easy self check out!

Had to stop at self checkout twice to bag my own items while a few of the workers stood around customer service and chatted. It wasn’t like they couldn’t see me since I made eye contact with one of them several times while she flirted with the security guard.

Have seen this once at this store- 2 days ago- the cashier at checkout charged me for shallots when he should have charged me for garlic-- $1.50 difference. Absolutely different product. Stores usually ring up a more expensive item when they are either just stealing from old folks or they are about to close. Dont know which this is-- this store has been very good in the past. Hope this was an honest mistake. Historically, employees have been very great. Products sometimes have expired dates though.

Officer Green, the security guard, came over to me with some paper towels and a bag to put the towels inOffered to call the E M T, s. She stayed with me until I settled down. WHAT GREAT SERVICE. I did tell the store manager how well the guard took care of me
