The new location is great. Bigger selection inside.However the parking is bad. Specifically the spaces are too narrow. Three SUV vehicles parked together. I could not get in my drivers side. I had to crawl over the console in my SUV. Not easy for somebody over 70 years old.I suggest when the pavement gets surfaced that the spaces are made about 6” wider. Please!Thank you.

Natural Grocers has just moved to a new location in Columbia, MO. It is fairly easy to get in and out of depending on time of day. They seem to have a good supply of everything but not as much as usual. I went after a stress relief tea, which they carry. Great place to go and buy food with less chemicals.

I love the produce at Natural Grocers! They have a wide selection of healthy foods that meet the needs of a variety of diets, a good selection of supplements, and outstanding customer service. The cashiers call for backup long before a line gets too long. Their attention to customer care keeps me coming back!

About a year ago, I moved back to Columbia after having lived in Detroit for 3 years. Coming back mid-pandemic was more traumatic than I realized. Many days, I found myself locked in my apartment, as I found myself isolated from other humans. While I knew that my circumstances were not abnormal in comparison to most everyone else… I still found my brain being intoxicated with thoughts that nurtured a demon within; mental health.As recovering alcoholic who recently celebrated 21 months being sober, a past smoker, who is now running (almost) daily, and as a person who has struggled with anxiety and depression for many years… [but has also done their best to be self-aware, while processing their thoughts in a healthy way…] - I recently added a vegan diet to the list of things I’ve found playing a positive role in the journey towards becoming a better version of myself; this very change in diet, led me to walk through your doors….Having said all that…. I want to say something:EVERY time I walk into your store in Columbia, to do my shopping… I have an experience that leaves me feeling like I matter. All of the staff are always so, very kind. They always ask if I need help. They never make me wait in line, and always come over and offer to assist with checking out my groceries. They are always willing to small talk. They pick up on my dry humor and sarcastic wit. They have even participated in it at times! They have literally left me feeling the VERY way that I truly aspire to make others feel… seen.I just want to say, that on some of my hardest days, I have felt some of the most generous encouragement from simply walking through your doors. My mental health has been beating the Hell out of me here recently, but your staff have unknowingly played a role of support that has left me leaving with emotions streaming down my face. I truly cannot say this enough, thank you.

So much goodness. From products, choices, staff, and cleanliness. Definitely my favorite grocery store in Columbia. And it goes back to staff because they are always super helpful and keep the place super clean. I also utilize their parking lot for safely meeting online vendors.

I saw the greatest act of heroism today. A natural grocers female employee told a customer to wear his mask while he was checking out. She had on (special) black combat boots and meant business. He put on the mask and paid for his items and left. I can only assume she saved millions of human lives. She deserves a medal.

Was disappointed in the selection of organic fruits and veggies. Seemed to be more supplements than groceries. First time here and cant imagine a need to go back when there is an EatWell not far away.

I have been shopping at Natural Grocers for a while now, and have been medically exempt from wearing the mask and before recently they have been very understanding, until last week that is. I tried to go shopping there last week and they kicked me out for not putting on the mask, even after I told them about my exemption! And just now I called to see if they have curbside pickup and they just hung the phone up on me! Not impressed, I am just trying to eat healthy foods!

Well intentioned although exspensive, theyre food will give you nutrients where as 90-99% of mosers gerbes, sams club, hyvee(mostly worse and overpriced) and even good ol aldis have almost everything there deplete your mind and bodys ability to prosper

I was really excited to go into this store, as I had never been. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability. I was imagining higher prices than what I found. However, at the checkout line, I had my few groceries all laid out ready to be rung up. The lady in front of me was just finishing up. The clerk asked if she was a card member and if she’s wanted to sign up. The lady was agreeable to signing up. Great for her! The cashier actually called someone else up to the front so she could help this lady sign up. When the other clerk came to ring me up, I had to put all my groceries back into a basket and switch lines. I have never had a cashier just leave people in a line yo go help someone sign up for a membership. Apparently signing that girl up was more important than the other customers in line. While they had things I couldn’t find at my other grocers in town, I will NOT be back. Very disappointed.

I found exactly what I was looking for at a very good price. Unfortunately I am not in the income bracket where I can shop at your store regularly for every day items.

Helpful staff. Very clean store. Well organized and fairly reasonably priced for a store of its kind. It will not have everything youre looking for, but it has most things and definitely the staples. The produce section, although small, is absolutely gorgeous.

Natural Grocers is awesome for so many reasons. Staff are super helpful, the store is well organized and always clean. They have everything you could possibly need whether it be groceries, supplements, bath and body products or household goods. They always offer boxes to carry out groceries instead of using bags, which I love. Great hours too! We will be back!

Good selection of organic produce. Complete line of Wendells whole grain breads- definite plus! The convenience case has interesting ready-to-eat and snacky things like the excellent mini-pitas. Pretty comprehensive selection of the usual whole food/health food brands and a good bulk selection.

Fantastic selection of organic food and also food for people with food allergies!! They have a large supplement section with great prices! Also, you can find natural personal care and cosmetic items, food and treats for your pet and great new deals every month. I recommend this place.

This the best grocery store in Columbia period. Not only do they have tremendous, organic only produce that is high-quality, they also have wonderful friendly staff.We have been shopping there for five years and it just continues to improve. They also do local community events like Easter egg hunts and trick or treating.It is such a great site all around.

A bit pricey but they have great natural and organic products; plus, I have found the staff to be very helpful. I like their selection of healthy meats, including hotdogs and lunch meats. If youre looking for supplements, they have a large selection. The bulk section is not bad, but you take what theyve packaged up. Id like it if they allowed the customer to do their own amounts.

I am a vegan from Laurel, MD and when visiting other places like to check out grocery stores, restaurants and airports to see how vegan friendly the area is. This store had many important vegan friendly items, but not my two favorites, Silk Nut Protein Milk or Beyond Burgers. Trying since 1955, but not quite there yet. I give a 4.5.

They carry some hard to find products that I like. The only thing I dont like about my experience here is every time Ive checked out they are relentless about asking me to donate to a charity--I just want to get my items and leave.

Everything is organic here! Good selection of food and supplements. You can even bring in water jugs and fill them up with reverse osmosis water. Very cheap.

I really like this store. My only problem is the markup on items is way too high. I cant get everything because of the prices. Also, apparently they have trouble getting items from the warehouse. The clerks are really good in trying to find what u need.

Natural Grocers is a really nice, small market. They have great sales, a large selection of supplements, and some hard to find items. Their produce is iffy and it can be hard to find a person if you need help or want to check out. Also, they try to make you feel really bad about not bringing your own bags.

Wonderful health food grocery. Also carry natural care items, vitamins, etc. Very stringent about what they will accept from their vendors. Friendly, spotless, helpful and reasonable for this kind of store.

No scale to weight vegetables or fruit. So you dont now the price.

Natural Grocers is my fav grocery store! I can always trust that items will be appropriately labeled for allergens and such! The workers are always very helpful and nice as well.

At this point, I do a majority of my grocery shopping here. They have a good selection, but there are a few items that I cant find there and go elsewhere for. That being said, they are always happy to place a special order, if you dont mind getting a full case. And you get a discount when you buy anything by the case.

I love the atmosphere at natural grocers. Clovers is second best, and this is way better than luckys. You get a more personal vibe here, but have plenty of room if you need alone time to shop. Natural smiles are given freely here. Great products, great vibes, great service. Sure, might be slightly more expensive than luckys, but Id rather support this business than something more corporate. Vote with your dollar!
