My a/c went out shortly before my sister was going to arrive to help me paint. We worked for awhile and our brother came by and recommended Solutions. He called and they said they would get here between 6-8pm.They arrived way early and had it back running in minutes. They were very professional and reasonably priced. It was a Saturday too.

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a company. I was promised for two whole weeks a visit to my home to provide a quote. Each promise to appear was followed up with yet another excuse for not showing up and an additional future date to appear, just to experience another no show. Eventually, after two weeks of this circus, the technician arrived and provided an estimate. The day before my family from out of town was due to arrive, I finally got someone to come to my hone and attempt an install. That did not go well, due to issues with my appliances. With now no time left to seek other options to get my appliances installed I was left without cooking ability to prepare meals for my out of town family members. I would not recommend this company. They seen too be very short on staff and very short on professionalism. Be weary.

I highly recommend Solutions HEATING AND AIR. I called to get a diagnosis after another company, A/C Advice of South Carolina came out 4 different times to fix my unit in 4 weeks and never repaired it stating they found no mechanical failure. SOLUTIONS HEATING AND AIR came out the very day that I call, diagnosis the problem and I texted them the next day to fix it and they did fix it the very same day. Now thats what I call service.

This home is occupied by a young lady with two children ages are five and eight and the temperature out side this day was in the 90 degree area. This company showed up at 2:30 when the appointment was said 10am til 12 then gave the same diagnosis that I told them on the phone . And still charged not 35 to 45 but 95 dollars to just come to the home so not only is this family still hot while trying to reach the best solution of a 6000 dollars new system she is also 95 dollars farther away from her new system and still HOT (yet her system was turned on and left on with no refrigeration installed) I’m guessing to further damage the compressor absolutely not any help and definitely not a solution

Had a furnace that would fire up, but no fan, They showed right up, tested many connections to/from the furnace and replaced a Capacitor, it was a bit pricey,($185) to change out a capacitor, but it was good to have a professional look at the heater! Thank you!

I am VERY pleased with the service. The guys were prompt, honest and extremely knowledgeable. The work was done neatly and they also cleaned up behind themselves. Also, they switched out a few existing components (copper lines) that were not installed completely properly from the previous contractor. Brandon, Marion and Thomas also educated me on why my previous equipment failed and what steps to take to ensure that it wouldnt happen again. They didnt just try to sell me something. Which is what Ive experienced with many other Hvac contractors in the past. I had been patching my old hvac system for years because thats what I had been taught by less scrupulous companies. This in turn cost me tons of money with which I could have purchased an entirely new system with years ago and could have avoided a lot of headaches.They also educated me on and installed the latest cutting edge technology in air purification within my system. Home Service sent Solutions Heating & Air to my home after another company for 2 days could not fix my heating problem. Solutions came to my house, they introduced themselves (Brandon and Marion). I explained the situation. They did a detailed inspection of my AC unit inside and outside. Brandon explained the problem, what was needed to fix the problem, and he did exactly that. Within the hour I had heat. Before they left, they made sure everything was working properly. I really appreciate the service I received. I will definitely use Solutions Heating and Air again. Fantastic people. Just fantastic. Our AC went out in our house that was built only seven years ago, so it was unexpected. We chose Solutions because of the professionalism, but also because of the obvious skill set, knowledge base and kindness of both Brandon and Marion. Our insurance company sent them out originally. We also met the owner, Thomas, by reaching out for a quote after the insurance adjuster got what he needed. Unfortunately, our claim was denied by insurance, but this company is competitively priced, and I found nothing but very good reviews for them (in multiple locations). The reviews weren’t hard to believe based on our experience (and Thomas was very patient with my many questions and emails). I must also note that we had our new unit installed within one week of diagnosis, and we’re now living in comfort once again! Also, they don’t just tell you what they think is wrong either, they show you and explain everything (and our original unit was truly messed up). Thomas and his crew are very responsive, and they work both quickly and efficiently! I am also loving our new “tank” sitting outside the house now. It seems so much better than the one our builder had originally installed. We will be using Solutions for all of our annual maintenance going forward, and would definitely recommend them to anyone!

BEWARE!!!!If I could have left 0 stars I would have. I have had a complete nightmare with this company! I hired Solutions Heating & Air to install a brand new unit. Since day 1 of the install, the new unit NEVER worked properly. I allowed Mr. Bowman and his employees to attempt to fix the issues of the unit cutting off within an hour. After trying to work with Mr. Bowman and after 7 different days on 8 different occasions of his company trying to fix the poor and incompetent installation issues but FAILING (during severely cold weather and no offer on his behalf of heaters during this time period) - I requested the return of my original unit and full refund as promised on his false advertisement of guarantee of satisfaction or money back. The York manufacturer, 2 PROFESSIONAL HVAC companies, and the city inspector (which gave a failed report) confirmed the installation was not properly conducted and the unit itself was not defective. After lying and coldly refusing to refund me any money, even after giving me a written guarantee of a full refund, I had to take his company to Civil Magistrates Court in Lexington, SC where I was awarded and won a Judgment against his company for his Breach of Contract, Breach of Implied Warranties, and Negligence. I have had the most stressful, depressing, and traumatic experience with this company and Mr. Bowman. Regardless of his defense to my factual review, I won a Judgement against the company because even the court of law agreed with me that he did not assure any proper operation by his cause of installation oversights. BEWARE of this company!! Go with a creditable HVAC professional that has SEVERAL years of experience and has not had any Complaints FILED nor Judgments AWARDED to the Plaintiff. Honesty, integrity, professionalism, and reputation are everything.

Awful company and customer service. When I bought my house, a couple of months later my condenser unit broke down. I went through HomeAdvisor and the company that reached out to offer their service was solutions heating. They did everything they could do such as free diagnosis to get the project. I hired them. A year later my evaporator coil died and I had no option but replace the whole AC system.I reached out to solutions heating. They were not the same company with free diagnosis. They charged $95 for diagnosis and the price for new unit was very high compared to other companies . I tried to call the office to negotiate the price and spoke with Brandon. I told him hat other companies offered better deals and he told me “you may wanna go with them then”! He didn’t try to keep me as a customer in this competitive world and that was surprising!

Mr. Bowman and his team came and made an assessment of my business HVAC system. He initially tried to find economical ways to save my existing system, but it was apparent that we required a new system. It was the best decision. I have been saving minimally $150 - $200 each month on my utility bill and we are much cooler throughout the building.
