What a wonderful experience. We shopped forever to find the perfect hot tub for us. The staff at Vaughn Pools & Spas worked hard and done a fantastic job. Looking forward to continue service. Love it!
I went to Vaughn Pool on Saturday because in order to get my filter running needed to buy sand to replace what was in my filter. I asked how much I needed and the girl behind the counter didnt know so asked the dark haired man in the office. After telling me I needed 100 lbs, I thanked him, getting no reply at all. I got home and to my extreme irritation, I found my filter needed 300 lbs. and Vaughn was now closed. It took me about 2 minutes to find this information. If this is Vaughn Pools idea of customer service, I have other options for my pool supplies.
Just all around a bad business, tried to charge us for the labor and a part I bought and installed myself. When both my wife and I called, on separate occasions, to resolve the discrepency were met with rudeness and aggression from the less than gentlemanly individual.
Theyve changed management 3 times in about 6 months
Just like back in the day, Vaughan provides a full service experience. Only a few people are on staff at a time, so it sometime takes awhile to be waited on. Despite this, the staff are very helpful amd knowledgeable. They do free water testing (which, honestly, I expect from a pool store but none the less appreciate). They spent a lot of town helping me optimize my fancy, $100, above ground pool so it was sparkly clean all summer long!
Have called multiple times to get work done on a pool with no response. I should not have to beg to have a call returned. Won’t be calling them again. Save your time and try someone else.

My husband and I called for two weeks to get service to our hot tub. When we called on the second week to verify they were coming out they had no recollection of us calling in. It took them an additional 3 to 4 weeks to get out and service the hot tub. The actual part took another three weeks to be ordered which might not have been their fault. There was not anything done that was proactive on their part and I felt like I was watching after a small child who was actually servicing my hot tub. Every time we wanted to know what was going on we had to call them to find out. But they only work until 4 o’clock or before that weekdays so make sure if you called to check in it’s early in the morning or afternoon. From start to finish the job took about six weeks and it was a simple fix. I would not recommend these guys. Not to mention if and when they were at your house you had no idea because there was no slip or evidence they were ever there.
Over the top friendly and super helpful!!! I was looking for a new heater for my hot springs tub which was leaking and found several options online but none of which were name brand which concerned me. I called Vaughan and they gave me great information, confirmed they had three of the heaters I needed in stock and gave me a fair and comparable price over the phone. I drove over the next day and received the most friendly and expert service and advice. I felt like they went out of their way to give me great service and I will be returning for any and all needs for my hot tub. I also received a discount at check out which ended up being nearly the same price as other online options that were “knock offs”. I did call another pool and spa place in Columbia and have yet to hear back from them on price and availability – its been 3 days. Dont waste your time with other dealers, come see Vaughan today.
Not to happy with them. I order a pool liner. Said it would be there in a week called them said it wasnt in so I waited another week called them they said it hasnt come in. So the next day I called they then called doughboy and for some reason they didnt get the order and now I have to wait another 1 to 2 weeks
Came in after work one day (not cleaned up) and no one acted as if they wanted to help me. I work outside so I get a little dirty. Finally, I got someones attention and instead of answering my questions, they handed me a pamphlet.
The owner thinks hes better than you so if you want to be insulted go check them out
