My experience was great! I got the best price and the representative I spoke with as well as the office manager was spectacular. I was unable to check-in before the facility closed but the office manager made it a smooth transaction via telephone for me!! Defense would recommend fib you need anything. They are willing to meet the needs!!

I use this storage facility every week for a van rental. They are always kind, great customer service, and they take care of their vehicles! Their facilities are always clean as well!

Uhaul truck rental was nice. Process was super easy, customer service was spot on, the truck was new, clean, and was a smooth ride. Mos customer service was exceptional upon drop off she even extended herself in assisting me with disposing some debris. I will be needing to rent again and I return.

Doris is an awesome person, and always goes beyond to help me every time I come in. She is an asset to the company. Keep doing a great job Doris!

Usually fantastic place, prices just keep climbing though. Other than that the building is well lit, solid security, and generally clean. I understand covid making everything more expensive but its getting out of hand.

I used storeSmart Self Storage on 2330 Legrand Road, in Columbia SC in the pass when I needed extra space, you can always expect to get that excellent and welcome from their customer service, the building is clean, dollies to assist you to store your personal properties and so on and that’s why I’m in need of that extra space again and that’s why I’m here again and I would recommend this place to do business with. Excellent storage units.

I just received my storage unit today and the manager and her assistant I cant remember you alls names served me very well. They were REALLY PATIENT with me and made sure that I got what I needed ! They even came and swept out the storage unit. All I can say is TO GOD BE THE GLORY !!

Christina was awesome. I got my truck and my space quickly. The property was clean and good customer service.

I have had my storage for several years. Never had a problem until the young female started. She always had an attitude on the phone. Even in person she has an attitude. I guess my skin color is not quite light enough. First off they are always changing things and never send you a notice of what is going on. When the gate was broken after a certain time you did not have access to the building. I had to call and speak to Miss Attitude to find out what was going on and I had driven 30 minutes away. No way to treat a paying customer.Another change- you were able to access your belongings until the forth or fifth. Ask me how I found out.. Well my fiancé was driving and I had to get some things for the holidays out of the storage. I was on the phone preoccupied and he drove in behind someone. Now this is against the rules to do so but he did not know this and I did not stop him because I was on the phone. But it took almost 2 hours for them to open the gate when there is someone living on the premises. I called customer service 3 times which they also said it was ridiculous when they know that someone was there.That just kind of took the icing off the cake with me. So I went in the office to give them my 30 day notice. The young female (I always have issues with)told me that I had to have it in by the 2nd. I’m guessing they switched this too because it was something different the last time I had asked. I went in on the 5th. She told me ( the young girl) oh I’m gonna put it in for January 31st. I stated but that is a lie because I’m here on the 5th. I asked for the paper I filled out and she changed the date on my paperwork and I took a picture of it. On today I get a voicemail message and they stole money out of my account. I call every month almost 90% of the time. I have paid online but they changed that also. So since they changed it I call. So because they have my information and know I was leaving my account mysteriously went into autopay. Wow not in the contract. I will post on every social media site and picket out side of the store if I must the way they handle business is unlawful. I sent an email that they gave me to a supposed owner but I know it’s a lie. You can’t just take my money out of my account. When did I change it to autopay? They don’t seem to know that information when I called. I don’t even know how to get to the new website that’s why I’ve been calling them. To ensure the payment is made. BeWare they will get You. Stay AWAY. If you didn’t have a problem with these two then you probably had the right skin color or you were a male. Beware!!!!!

Titus and Ms Doris have been heavenly since I have moved my stuff in storage. My new home didnt fall through and they were understanding and kind.Definitely appreciate the discount they offer for first time users and loyal customers like myself.

Great Experience

Displeased at this point as a potential customer. I went to this location on a total of 3 different times. On 2 of those days the gentlemen ran around trying to do 100 things at once so my needs never got met as a customer after waiting almost an hour which I thought was very patient just to fill out paperwork and reserve the deal I found online which to my knowledge i found was a waste of time after all .I also am very disappointed that the female representative did not even attempt to look at my online reservation after returning the day (the day before I was suppose to move in) so that I could get an accurate price that I would be paying at the time of move in . I was told I needed to come back on the day i planned to move into storage so that they could look in the system at that time to see what deals were available on that day.Basically disregarding the online reservation price I had reserved and mentioned to her. To me I considered the customer service very odd and uncommon being that I have done business at other storage units before and never had these problems. Decided to cancel my reservation since it was taken as a joke and moved on to the next facility that actually had time to accommodate my needs and validate their online reservation prices.Most likely would not recommend this facility due to staff interaction and inaccurate online pricing as well as no follow thru with customer needs from staff. facility and storage unit I was showed on the first day appeared neat and clean. Thats as far as it went

The storage area is kept extra clean. The temperature control is right on target. The staff are helpful and take a personal interest in providing good customer service. I definitely recommend this facility.

The customer service was exceptional at this location. Oceann went above and beyond to get us the needed information and get us set-up. We arrived 30 minutes before closing and we’re a little nervous that we wouldn’t get the information needed. Oceann didn’t rush us, he took his time and went over all of the options. He showed us example units so that we would make the right choice. After visiting several other companies, we decided to go with Store Smart Self-Storage. Again a big thank you to Oceann and Titus for their exceptional going beyond attitude!!!5 starts to customer service, organization knowledge and professionalism!!

The manager was very helpful when our day was very stressful. We were able to rent a storage and a truck with no problems at all. Everything was explained in detailed so you wouldnt feel robbed like any other place. I highly recommend this place. :)

This place is horrible they give you a discount the another price which is cool cause everyone gives a discount at the beginning but they don’t tell you that third price which is full price cause we military we don’t get late charges when we late we have to pay whatever the regular price is without my military discount. And when you try to pay they won’t take the money you paying them like if your bill is $450 and you paying $380 they don’t want that they want $450 and again they don’t tell you if you late it’s not a late fee it’s at the regular price so if you don’t mind losing money then rent from them

Do NOT trust Store Smart with your personal or business belongings. The exterior security gate was broken for weeks, leaving the entrance wide open. Because it took so long to fix, someone was able to come under cover of night, drive directly to my parking spot, steal my trailer, and leave within five minutes. Even though StoreSmart had the incident on camera, its a good thing I recorded their screen on my phone since they lost the footage the next day. Not like it mattered, though as the company didnt assume any responsibility nor give any compensation despite their false advertising of a secure lot and neglected maintenance of the property. We are moving everything out of our two rented units from this location and taking our business somewhere that actually wants to protect our stuff. Especially because the interior security gate was broken the entire term of our lease, meaning you can walk right in without even needing a code. If they offered what they advertised, then wed have a lead on the theft or even have avoided it all together.

The staff is friendly and the the storage is 24hour access. The climate control is always right on temp to keep your things from molding. Though its a little moist at time so make sure to get the moisture absorber for your unit. Not the biggest vfan of the pricing but it is what it is.

Best value and security in NE Columbia. Worth climate controlled units!

Access gate is always broken for weeks at a time. Prices keep going up. Way MORE expensive than Cubesmart, Public Storage, AAA Storage, Uhaul and every other storage facility in town. They also have a big RAT problem in the climate controlled as well as outside units.

Stay away from this place, rented a short term unit from this place, cleared it out after 2 months with a 30 day notice to vacate and they stole money from my bank account. Very dishonest business with little to no coporate controls.
