Very rude staff. Had my purchases in hand waiting to check out. Only employee at a register had her back turned to me sitting on counter. I set my stuff down at her register and immediately another employee, Freida, opens another register and looks directly at the man in line behind me and offers to check out his purchases. Meanwhile, the girl sitting at my register informs me I have to get in line at Freidas register.Way to make customers feel important. Not stopping at this location again.
Thank you Adrian. 😇 Stopped in looking for face masks. 😷 (Heading to airport and forgot ours) They had gators but not regular masks. Adrian gave us 2 from his own stash!! Really appreciated that! 😀
Cant buy lottery tickets there anymore, which is why I always chose the place. I used to buy them at all times, including at 2 in the morning then they changed that. The salesperson told me three times to come back at 7:30 in morning. Well, I came back past 7:30, and he said they dont sale lottery yet. I said really - its past 7:30. He got rude and said he didnt know how to sale lottery., so he lied. Hes the third person who told me they didnt know how to sale lottery. Dont they train people? Im not going there anymore even though its close to where Ive.
To make this short and simple, the employees there are really incompetent. The employees at this location constantly lie and say they don’t do money orders, but if you Google Turkey Hill it clearly says they do. SMH.
This place is doing nothing to sanitize for covid security guard sitting in the build telling people they have to have a mask or want be served......why is she lazy and not sitting outside to inform people to wear their mask.....lazy pure laziness....horrible functioning of a store in a state with high covid outbreak.....
Staff act like customers are the enemy. Hateful, including the security woman.
They were out of quite a bit of stuff and didn’t have a few normal things like chocolate milk, how do you not have chocolate milk?? The worker was nice to me and tried to help me find a candy bar that they ended up being out of. Pretty nice in there for being in Columbus lol
Hopefully management reads this. There are 3 things about this Turkey Hill that make it more risky than it needs to be in regards to Covid. 1. There are 2 entrances but 1 is often closed and customers are forced to go in and out from the same door. 2. Credit card machines inside always ask if you agree with the amount, thus forcing people to touch it to complete the transaction. Employees do not wipe down. 3. Employees are instructed to take/grab ID (not just see or scan) for alcohol purchases. Lets try to minimize touching the same things. I am giving 3 stars because the place is otherwise well stocked and clean.
I was here a few weeks ago and the pumps werent working and this morning the lights are on no ones inside and all the pumps are off
Cashier had 10+ people in line and couldnt bother to stop texting long enough to properly run the register.
I think the third shift doesnt like to work.. Your chances are 50/50 that there will be a note on the door saying closed for some reason or other..
Just ran in to use the atm to be honest but I must say I was surprised and impressed to see that someone actually took the time to tape little xs on the floor about 6 feet apart in front of the registers to remind people to keep their distance if there happened to be a line. Very socially responsible in line so many other people and places during the scary and uncertain time. Stores are quick to put signs up saying they are limiting how much of something someone can buy but they arent enforcing it at all so no one is acting very responsibly but thank you turkey hill for reminding people to keep their distance and keep themselves and each other safe and healthy.
Went from 4 stars to two when they closed the eatery that had the best breakfast sandwiches in town to open a nasty mall pizza joint...no reason to stop here in the mornings any more.
Poor selection, high prices, items marked with a savings arent. Employees need to be watched closely when they are ringing up your order. They tend to subsidize their paychecks with the customers money.
The staff is always upbeat & friendly. They are very helpful!
Lady working rude and heartless my co worker accidentally spelled his coffee while holding 2 pizzas lady got upset he was trying to put the pizzas down when she yelled at him for not picking up the mess. When all he was doing was trying to get hot coffee that burned his leg whipped off. I dont like leaving bad reviews but this place deserves one
Numerous times the wait inside feels like theyre trying to put a man on the moon... and associates curse loudly.Would not recommend unless you just need gas.
Great to get my gas discounts closer to the house. Do yourself a favor and try a breakfast sandwich from fresh eats while youre in there. Never been a fan of gas station food but I actually left the house craving it.
Pat was very rude, there were two registers Open so I went to the one without a line and the lady at the register kept calling people from the other line and very rudely said there was a line over there for both registers, i’ve never been here before and didn’t know I needed to go wait in the line at the other register. And then when I went to pay with card she said the debit card Machine was down and I would have to pay with cash or leave....she could’ve just said there cash only right nowI definitely won’t come back thanks for the customer service miss PATThe other cashier seem to be very nice and respectful
Incredibly rude and obnoxious cashier refused to let us enter our kroger rewards number and cancelled our transaction twice. Ended up having to walk away and leaving our drinks and food on counter and now were late for daughters concert after waisting 10 minutes at counter. Lady didnt wear name tag but has African accent.
If I could give this place a negitive 5 that would be generous. There is always a long line and one cashier. It doesnt matter whether its 8am or 8pm or any time between. Today I need a money order. The line is 20 deep and one cashier. There are other employees who could jump on a register but that doesnt happen. One female employee was in the back of the store laughing saying how she better go hide. Thats ridiculous. Where is management? Why is it always the same story at Turkey Hill? So after waiting in the long line I can not get a money order because they are all out of the blanks that they print them on. Thanks for the expierience Turkey Hill. If you have no other choice still dont go here. I am done with them.
This place needs new employees, new management, new everything. The mens bathroom toilet has been broken for 5 months. The Slushie maker has been broken especially the blue mountain dew, for 8 months. No joke, it still spins, it still has the liquid in it, the thing has never been emptied, never been cleaned, and most likely a literal hazard for ppl to drink out of, as its contaminating the other slushies. Dont take my word for it, go up to the machine, try and use the handle. Its still broken. Countless employees have walked off the job. Today there was a line of 17+ ppl. 1 Employee, the other said F it and went and took her break instead of atleast clearing, or alleviating the line. Really? Overpriced drinks, go to speedway. 89 cents for all sizes at speedway. Nearly double that at this place.
Im a big fan of Turkey Hill. They are affiliated with Kroger it seems. Clean, good prices, and nice convenient store inside. PNC ATM machine inside offers no service fees with withdrawals (regardless of bank).
Staff are great at getting customers in and out quickly when its busy. Decent selection of products for snacks and work lunches.
VETERANS BEWARE, found out today, this location doesnt accept retired/active military ids as a form of identification, they do however accept any passport. Until this policy is changed I will not be returning, and I suggest any veteran avoid this place, they dont care about you at all..... good luck in the future!
Seriously, WHY do they not have a tire air pump? They have literally everything else you could imagine, and are a nice big, well-kept location. Just frustrating that I cant fill my tires at my go-to gas station! :(
Walked in at 4:15 pm and ordered a pizza from the touch screen. The order came through and the cook yelled at me they were closed. I guess they dont want my business.
Relatively new, fairly large, well kept Turkey Hill location - appreciate them being in the neighborhood (I do wish they stocked Mikesells potato chips).
There are a couple employees who work here that have terrible customer service skills. I am positive you will know the two i am i am reffering to if you stop here.
Clean gas station I saw in America. Delicious cold drinks.
Credit card machines never work. Chip reader is always down. Employees are reluctant to help by manually entering card numbers.
Its a mini market/gas station. Good variety!
Person at the counter was rude and would not honor the sale price listed on the shelf.
Employees are rude, ignore what you say, and try to rush you out of the store.
This place is very clean. Staff very sufficient.
Very clean store and restroom.
Love this store
Awesome
