Great game & drink selection. The mead flights are awesome. Food is fine, but the real draw is the games. They’re really well maintained and the variety is fantastic - from easy party games to intense co-op. 10/10

The interior of this place looks like a straight up pirate ship. They have a great drink selection and i thoroughly enjoyed the burger i ordered. Their caramel cheesecake is also delicious! Also, their game library is amazing. I keep meaning to check out their events since their trivia nights look like a lot of fun

Ive been here twice and ordered burgers both times, the chili burger is my favorite. The Forge Tavern is different than most bars as it offers board gaming, role playing games and lots of fun costume events. I do have to mention it is run by friends of mine. I think they have created a unique bar experience that anyone should try if they get the chance.

We love Ticket to Ride and the variations which they are happy to share so we can play while enjoying the food and good company the staff provides. Celebrated my husbands 40th birthday there last weekend and everyone had a great time, ages 1 to 75!

This place is the bomb!!! The owners are so kind and nice. The decor is fun and really makes you feel like your sitting in an old-timey tavern straight out of a fantasy book. The food is decent, but the drinks are to die for. I had a mead flight that was delicious and well worth the money. My DnD group had a blast playing here, and we will certainly be back. The Forge even has dozens of their own games you can play if youd like to try something new!

This place was so neat, a very cool change of pace. Relaxing atmosphere and good music, lots of yummy meads and cocktails to choose from, as well as a huge book shelf of games. Servers will even give suggestions!

This is truly an amazing place to go. The food is good, the drinks are amazing, the board game collection is outstanding, and the staff incredibly friendly and wonderful! Easily my favorite place to go with my friends in Columbus. The atmosphere makes you feel right at home as you knock back drinks and sling spells or conquer lands unknown or roll the 5th 9 in a row in Catan. They also hold themed trivia nights ranging from all types of categories. If I could give more then 5 stars I would.

Trivia night Thursdays. Or tnt, cause its the bomb. Ok that was corney. But seriously, this place is fun. Drinks are good and varied. Apps and food hit in a pinch. Many, many card and board games on the walls to choose from. Seriously check it out. Parking can be slim on trivia nights.

Forge Tavern has been my new favorite place. The staff is charming, the food is pretty tasty and the drinks are absolutely spectacular! The events they have are nothing short of thrilling and the atmosphere is super chill. Its very easy to unwind here, as well as become very animated while playing games or competing in trivia or singing at karaoke. Whatever your reason for coming, your sure to have a lovely time. I highly recommend coming here!

Great atmosphere and awesome service. Clean, well lit, and well designed. They definitely get that fantasy mid evil times vibe without being hammy. Lovely staff. The bartender is the nicest person.Lots of games on the shelves to enjoy and its normal to see ppl with full d&d sessions at the table next to you.Drinks are delicious. I highly recommend you try the Necro-mango-con Meade. And every cocktail Ive tried there is a winner.Only bad thing I have to say is the food is average. Its hot and fresh, though, so while its not going to win any awards, its still good.Overall highly recommend to go to this place. Im so glad its coming out stronger from all of the hardships of the (almost) 2 yrs. My friends and I do weekly gatherings here. Youll see plenty of regulars if you go often enough. Its a place that deserves the loyalty of the patrons.

A bar that you can play games, not necessarily designed to play games. Large selection of games, not crowded. Their menu only had two options for desserts or sweet snacks. The menu needs more items that goes well with playing games. I got chips and salsa. It was regular chips and salsa that you can buy at stores. Most of the games were new probably because it is a recently opened bar.

They have an amazing array of game options and all looked to be in good condition as well as regularly cleaned. Getting our bill and drinks was rather slow, but it seemed they had a low staff to customer ratio which I can in part excuse. Food was great and drinks were too, really liked my Black Flag!

Good beer, mead, and board game selection. I was very unimpressed with my burger but the other folks at my table raved about their pretzel bites. The pizza looked strait out of a box. I’d say go elsewhere for food if you want something exceptional.

The area is spacious and clean and theyve got good sized tables for spreading out games/etc. The food is good for what it is, its comfort food but comfort food done okay.5/5 stars for great drinks, lots of games, plenty of room, and comfort food.

Great place to hang out with friends and play tcg, d&d, board games or other types of games. The staff is very friendly, and even let you borrow cards for certain games. The have a great selection of interesting drinks, and most of them are worth trying but a few of them are AMAZING for example their black cherry cider. The one critique I would make is their food selection. They dont have a lot of options, and do not allow you to bring your own food. All around my friends and I enjoyed this place!

WOW this place is incredible!!! The entire place has such a cool and fun atmosphere! My husband and I came here for the first time yesterday and had such a great time! They have sooooooo many board games to choose from that you can play while you eat and drink! My husband and I aren’t huge gamers so Diane went out of her way to help us find a couple games that would be fun and easy for newbies like us to play, and she was right! Next time we come we want to bring more of our friends with us so we can play other games!! Can’t wait until next time! This place is definitely a hidden gem in columbus that you must check out

Locally owned and operated establishment that has affordable drinks and about every type of game you can imagine to play with your comrades. Had a great time in a relaxed setting. Now if we could just get this 10:00 p.m. curfew removed we could be adults again and stay a little longer.

This little place is the absolute best. The family that owns and operates it are phenomenal. They genuinely care about everyone who walks through that door and no one leaves as a stranger. Ive loved the forge tavern since they opened. Its a great spot to game and hang. The owners are great with keeping things clean during covid and more then willing to help you make up your favorite drinks.

Such a delightful and charming spot! What used to be a dirty hole in the wall club for skeezy rock bands is now a warm, clean, and friendly place for drinks, gaming, and karaoke. The cocktails are delicious. Well conceived and executed drinks. They have a fun selection of demo games to try and have a nice variety of gaming supplies and games for sale. The decor is a bit medieval and gamer nerd cool. Definitely worth checking out! Been a few times now and will be back again and again! The owners are as charming and welcoming as the space is now!!

I live out of town, so I only get here once every couple of months. But I have an awesome time every time. The staff are the best, their selection of drinks is great, and their food is decent. They also have a wide array of games to play, from 2 to 6+ players. If I lived nearby I would be here all the time!

First time going and I went for their Roaring 20s event. The staff is so friendly and they often have smaller events throughout the week according to their calendar online and in house. The selection of board/card games that are able to be played whilst socializing is massive. Not sure if ita a regular option during normal hours, but the Roll for your shot with a d20 was the one of the highlights if my evening.

I had a really fun time here. Excellent selection of games, decent beer selection and the woman behind the bar was very friendly. They could have used another bartender or waitress but I got the impression that the place hasnt been open for very long and theyre still figuring it out. I would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a place to relax, play a game and have a few drinks

Ultra friendly staff and good drinks. The place could benefit from a more pronounced sign, cause we spent a good while trying to find it. The game selection is on point, offering numerous titles for everyone from casual board games to party games, to more competitive strategy games. Definitely going back next time Im in Columbus.

I like that this place looks like a bar turned game bar. Not a gaming cafe with some beer. The atmosphere is delightful with lots of geeky touches. A nice selection of games, but you can also bring your own. Ill be going back!

Definitely a 1000% improvement over the old Bethel Road Pub that used to be here. Clean, friendly, and they have an insanely great selection of board games. Its a great place to hang out for a drink or two.

Great new bar with a lot of potential. Offers board gaming experience in a bar like setting. Great signature drinks, friendly staff, and inviting environment. Would recommend to anyone looking for something more than your typical bar experience.

This place is already awesome, on its way to being the epic spot to eat, drink and game. Last night we went for Fluxx night, had a drink or two and pizza. The pizza was really, really good and was cooked perfectly. The alcohol is hand-selected by a top bartender for taste. The carry two new favorites of mine, a dark beer called Vlad the Impaler and a pear cider called Grizzly Pear, a cider that is more tart than sweet.

The drinks are creative, the atmosphere is accepting/comfortable, and the activities there are a highlight to my week. They normally have karaoke there once or twice a week after some tabletop games and the set up/song collection is incredible.

Decent game selection though did expect a bit more there. Food was really good. I had burger and wife had the flatbread (she did say the pesto was a bit salty)

Nerds/geeks/gamers welcome to a new Haven. The owner used to have a game store in Tuttle called Orc Forge Games, and has opened up the Forge Tavern. While it is a bar first, it is a game store second. So while your getting a drink they have a board game library you can just pull something off the shelf and play it. They have food, which is a simple menu meets your stomach requirements for good and filling. I highly recommend the pretzel sticks. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys gaming and might want a drink. Or anyone looking for a relaxing bar that isnt so noisy that you cant hear the person next to you.

An epic hangout to be sure! Specialty cocktails, beer and booze. A relaxed atmosphere, excellent tv on the flat screens, good company and tasty food. What more can you ask for? Oh and free parking. I cannot wait to go back!

Seems like a decent place to hold games. Food and drink were pricey. The service was very limited. Just seems like they are getting the place together still. I like the concept.
