Prices for fresh produce not displayed. Bought 5 mangoes on Thursday 05/13/21 and was charged for 6 when I looked at receipt. Called few hours after that and was told I had to talk to boss who was coming in Saturday 05/15/31. Called then and was given run round. No resolution. Hard to believe no employee has authority to handle this. Willvisit in person and try again. Feel cheated but I was so wrong. Went in person on 05/39/21 and spoke to boss who explained what was on the receipt and the language barriers that made the employee refer me to him. I was treated fairly and will continue to to value the service to my community this business offers

Really do need a competing grocery store in Columbus. Apna has monopoly and does things their way. Good store. But usually have to wait 15 mins for someone to show up at the counter for checkout. Dont forget to check the date on things, many expired items.

Pricy, Some expired stuff around, and worst out of all these is an attitude of the owner. The guy was literally putting stuff in shelves, and I called him for the checkout after waiting couple of minutes and he again take couple more minutes after I called him.

Decent selection of products, but shelves could use some dusting/cleaning. Had to wait 5-10 minutes to be rung up while the two employees were stocking shelves and said to wait. Most likely will not return unless I need something specific that I cannot get in Kroger.

Owner is arrogant, knows people have no option within columbus due to his monopoly, so hell sell at higher prices, lot of expired and missing Mfg date or expiry date products. Twice found goat meat had hairs and blue dye and also the meat zip lock bags are mostly open & not hygienicaly stored. Does not accept returns for cosmetics.

The owner tries to keep older and expired products in store. Multiple experiences of having picked up products that have gone bad. Completely my fault on not checking the date before picking it up. No other option for Columbus residents wanting to shop Indian groceries other than this place in Columbus, so be wary of what you buy from here. Unless you decide to shop from Greenwood or Indy.

I brought Indian Sweet called as GulabJamun which I feel stands nowhere to the authentic taste which I had experienced in other stores outside Columbus/ Indian Restaurant. Later I realised that the filling which I was searching for is made up of khoya and the one this store sells has coconut kinda Flavour NOT Khoya and it’s super chewy. YUCK !

The man we dealt with was extremely rude to my wife. He then attempted to charge me $10.00 for an item i didnt have. After I got home I realized some of the items I purchased were marked not for individual sale free with. One other item expired in 2016. I will never return to this business. The items I bought can be ordered on amazon and delivered to my door for less money. I like to buy from local businesses especially mom and pop places but I will never return to this one.

The Indian ethnic store in Columbus along with some Mediterranean items. You get all essential Indian grocery items and produces. But produce section is not very good. Not at all fresh and not available on many occasions. Prices are reasonable than other stores. Frozen section is always stuffed and one can get many frozen vegetables in case fresh produce is hard to get. Narrow aisles...the store needs to redesign for better maneuvering.

Absolutely wonderful in every way. Wonderful staff. Incredibly friendly. Amazing food. Including vegan dishes, which I adore. Always very clean. I think its one of the hidden gems of Columbus. I cant believe somebody only gave a star. Every time I go it is packed. So Im obviously not the only one who feels this way. I also love the little store. I go in the for coconut oil whenever Im in Columbus.

As they are the only Indian store in town and having a monopoly they say minimum charge of 15$ which was 10$ few days back. This all depends on who is at the register and their mood. Not that great fresh produce items, limited quantity, food is alright and I would recommend driving for few miles than deal with arrogant store people.

Most of the items dont have expiry date printed and those that do, are either expired and near to expiration. Not enough room to walk through the aisles, I wish there is another option to it :(And be aware, if you are not paying attention during billing, the owner would bill same item twice!!!Went back to the store to return the expired item, owner offered replacement of that item, and then he found, entire batch of that item had been expired 4 months ago ! So be careful

The store is very small and the owner of the place is very relaxed. Took me about 10 mins to get the owner to bill my products. The items seemed overpriced and the most of the packed items are on the verge of expiry- so be careful while buying any product and check their expiry date. And the store is so congested that hardly one person can stand in the shelves rows at a time. The products are not at all arranged well- one of the worst Indian grocery stores I have ever seen!

Things are a little expensive compared to other Indian Stores in Indiana & Michigan, that I have been to. The products are not price tagged though tagging is there on shelves (usually things get mixed up, hence difficult to guess the prices). The staff behavior was neutral. I guess it being the only Indian store in Colombus, I dont foresee any changes in near future & have to live with it. Thanks.

Being the only indian market and only one of very few asian markets in the area, they dont seem to care how they price their items. Items are definitely more expensive than other stores. But, if you want to buy vegetables that you cannot find in any of the other big stores (walmart), then this is the place or you can go to oriental market not that far away from this place.

I shop like every day in some store. However, this store dont deserve even one star.I wish, I can give zero stars. In my opinion, not a honest management/owner.Owner/clerk wants you to spend 50$ minimum, if customer chose to use credit/debit card. He have an audacity to ask you to spend more to reach his target amount 50$. No proper price tagging of products. Some products are on verge of expiry or expired on the shelves. I understand demand & supply, but shop management dont have to take advantage of city just because they are the only Indian store in Columbus, IN.
