Just bought $3,000 worth of used pallet racking along with a used pallet jack and used ladder. Delivery driver was very professional and on time. My problem comes with the quality of the product.1. Uprights were missing hardware and the other hardware was very loose. I had to start my project by buying missing hardware and tightening up all the other hardware to make it safe.2. All of the used beams were missing the clips that keep them locked in. We should have at least received a bag of this safety item to install ourselves.3. The ladder looked like it had been sitting outside for 20 years and the locking function is broken, so it still can roll while you are standing on it.Our sales rep offered to send us hardware and come exchange the ladder, but we already had to work to repair the issues. We are a busy company and don’t have time to wait for these things to be fixed. Ive already fixed it and pallets are loaded. I said that I thought a $200 refund would be fair for the trouble and extra work of making these items usable and I was told that they would lose money if they did that. ($200 is 6% of the order value)Never had this kind of issue when this company was Ludlow!

I went over to see if they had shelving to match what I already have. Mike said they didnt have an exact match, but he wrote me up a quote for two rows of shelves that would work for me. He told me it would take two to three days from when I ordered to when I could pick them up. He then made a copy of his notes for me so I could keep order the shelves if I decided to. I called back a couple days later and ordered the shelves. Hours after my call I received a call that my order was ready. Great! When I arrived I was given a bill for more than double the quote Mike gave me. They called for Mike and he came up and said the price was correct. I pulled out my copy of the quote and he replied See it says one there. Thats for one row of shelves. So glad you saved that. I couldnt believe his response. He quoted me for two shelves and then said if I wanted the quoted price he could do it for 1 shelf. Very shady. Lied about the time it took to order the shelves and then doubled the price.
