We recently brought our boat in for a check up on the outboard, Keith was very thorough, honest and and informative, hes a very nice guy and always a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend this company.

When youre this far from the water youre either good or youre out of business, and they have been in business for a very long time and theyre more than just good. During the season there is typically a wait to get your boat in, but in my opinion its worth it. Better to get the job done once and have it done right than to deal with breakdowns and return trips... Keith the owner not only manages the place, hes hands on in the shop. Keith seems to have limitless knowledge and first hand experience in the realm of marine mechanics. They seem to be selling boats too, which Im glad to see because I a fan of Key West Boats as well. Glad to see nice people that run a good honest business doing well, and I hope they stay at it for many years (or decades) to come.I most recently utilized their services for a re-power of my 15 year old boat. Wanted the job done by American because of their trustworthy reputation and my dealings with Keith in the past. Keith is super nice and is always willing to take the time to answer all my questions and address my concerns.I am a regular customer, and I highly recommend American Marine.

American Marine is a shop that does it right the first time, every time, on time.

Highly over priced and sells trailers that cant be registered.They get 1 star only because I cant leave a post without it. I have the paperwork on American Marine Stationary the trailer supplied does not match the trailer delivered to me. The problem came up when I tried to re-registering the trailer in Fla. if you would supply the corrected paperwork I could register the trailer.NO, I have all the paper work, American Marine receipt

I have been to this establishment 2 times now. Keith and his staff are some of the most honest professional people i have ever met. I am a new boater and to me figuring out how to fix and maintain a boat is intimidating. Keith takes the time to explain everything. American Marine really got me out of a jam yesterday. The best place boat parts, very knowledgeable

I have been getting my boat serviced by Keith for over 10 years with no issues. Summer is short, so I depend on Keith every year to make sure my boat is ready to go in the Spring and run strong into the Fall. I have not been disappointed. Very knowledgeable and Professional.

Went in with bag of junk, salesman figured out the puzzle in less than 5 minutes, knew what I needed had me out in another 5 minutes, 21 bucks I expected triple that price.. WORTH THE TRIP

I have always been pleased with their professional services and have been thankful for Chris and Keiths honest and direct approach to best ensure a trouble free season without unnecessary expense. Their many years of experience are clearly evident, and they are always willing to take calls and converse in person to address my needs and to ensure we plan a maintenance program to maximize my boating pleasure.

Keith and his team are the perfect professionals. Keith is beyond super accommodating and a total pleasure to work with. When I bottomed out and broke the prop by hitting a rock, I was able to make it back to Long Island from Connecticut, and with one phone call, Keith was waiting for us at a boat ramp, ready to take the boat back for repair. From the first day we met Keith at a boat show on Long Island, he made my wife and I feel totally comfortable with asking him many questions. In my opinion, Keith is the real-deal. He is full of integrity and honesty. In business, this can be hard to find, so if you are considering using American Marine, I cannot recommend Keith and his team enough.

Chris and keith are one of the Best customer oriented people in the marine repair business. They are always reliable. They do what they say and your boat is always ready when they say it is. Keith went over and above when i purchased a used boat from American marine. My son thought there may have been a issue with it under full throttle so Keith went out of his way to were the boat was docked to see what was going on any other place would have asked us to pull it out of the water and trailer it back to them.Great people and great service they obviously care about there business.

I have been going to American Marine for more than 30 years at the same location. I am now dealing with the third generation in this family business. The folks at American Marine are always reliable and fair with their prices. I am sure that you could shop around for a better deal on service. What does it cost if your boat and motor are not service on time, or laid up for weeks while you wait on someones list to get serviced ? For me, I stick with reliability.

I have always been pleased with the service here. I deal only with Keith the owner, so maybe that is why. I trust his opinion and he has always been very fair and honest with me.

I was looking for a quality boat at a fair price and not looking to pay for a name. Key West fit that bill, had good customer reviews. In dealing with Keith at American Marine, he impressed me as a fair and reasonable guy. Having been boating for 30 years on Long Island I have found most marinas/service people to be somewhat difficult and unreliable. The experience with Keith and his shop (now going on 4 years of service, winterizing, spring commissioning etc.) is excellent. They do good work at a fair price. This is not the cheapest mechanics you will find but they are all well trained on the equipment and they charge a fair price and stand behind what they do. If I moved up in size ever, I would look first at Key West just because I would prefer to deal with these guys than others.

I have been going to chris and family for years . bought a few boats from them and they service all. i have a great respect and trust in them..they always do the right job for the right price...when i hit the water i always know the boat is reliable ... thank you guys for a job well done..

Had bearing buddies replaced here and noticed one wasnt flush in hub. Popped it off myself and found the reason...a broken piece of the old bearing buddy still inside.Figured Id give them another shot when I had water pooling around the cowling of my Yamaha f150. They called me and said they couldnt find anything wrong and motor was fine. When I brought it home I put it on the muffs to make sure I wasnt nuts and went over it carefully with a light...found a small trickle coming from the head which turned out to be a folded over gasket from factory assembly and had it repaired by another dealer covered under warranty.I could perhaps force myself to overlook the grumpy attitudes and 30-100% markup over internet pricing if they were excellent mechanics, but I wont try again. They are right around the corner from me and I trailer my boat to the south shore for service that although equally overpriced, is at least reliable.

This shop is one of the Powerwinch remote control winch manufacturers authorized service center in Long Island, NY. I do not recommend this shop for any repair of your Powerwinch products coz they will just tell you that they will give you a call when its done. After a week of waiting and not getting any phone call of repair service status, I decided to pull my winch back when they told me that it still on hold for a simple part replacement. Totally disappointed with their poor, unfriendly customer service. Marine products are expensive too.

The worst thing I could find out I was taking my boat to that workshop they stole my money and I saw the boat 3 times for the same problem they only charged me and they did not fix the problem.
