I needed a big job done on my Jeep Wrangler and was preparing myself to have to call service everyday to try to get info on the status of the job.Mike Pastore was my service advisor and he was honest with me from day one in regards to how long the job would take PLUS he actually called or texted me once, sometimes twice a day to update me on the job!!!! I have never had anyone in the past update me or be so communicative throughout the process. Mike helped this to be a stress-free process for me. AND he contacted me a few days after I picked up the car to make sure everything was okay. Hes the best and if I need work again, Ill definitely go back to him.

I went to the Commack shop on Monday to replace my tires. As soon as I got there Michael in service assisted me and answered all of my questions. I had a dent in my bumper and it was interfering with the new tires and it would not be able to drive. Immediately, Will (I believe he manages the service guys), checked out the problem and spoke with the young man working on my car to find a solution so I can drive my truck home. Brian, who works in the parts dept, looked to see if he could get me a replacement bumper. He discussed options with me and I was able to find a very affordable replacement. I need to add he found the replacement while I was waiting for my car to be completed. This review is not based on a one off experience. I had to go back today to get my bumper replaced and they were just as patient and accommodating today as they were yesterday. These men are indivually professional, patient and knowledgeable but as a team they are simply awesome!!
I bought my Jeep from this dealership about 3 and a half years ago. No complaints at all with the car & how it runs. However, the front of my hood started to form rust bubbles in June of 2020. I brought my car to the dealership to see if they can fix this issue since the car was just over 3 years old and should not be forming rust bubbles. I spoke to a manager named Mike who informed me that this issue is only covered under the basic warranty (3 years) and NOT the corrosion warranty (5 years) which made no sense to me. My basic warranty had just ran out so he informed me that they can recommend a body shop to get the work done, but I would need to pay. A few months later I brought my car into the Security Dodge dealership in Amityville for a recall & showed them the rust bubbles on the hood of my car. A manager there told me that they see this all the time and it wouldnt be a problem to fix. I dropped my car off on Monday & had the car back by Thursday completely fixed with no charge since it is covered under the corrosion warranty. Safe to say Security Dodge in Amityville will have my business moving forward just from their customer service alone & not Huntington Dodge.

Dave Daniels was an absolute pleasure to work with, he didnt pressure us at all and made sure I was comfortable with the car. After regular service was done on my jeep compass, there was a clicking noise that I had heard for months in the back. described the noise and Mike knew exactly where to look and found it!!! Have always had problems at Dodge . Actually ordered a hose for my car, wrong one was sent. While Tech checked for part, was found that part is no longer available has been discontinued. All auto parts store say its a dealer item. How do you just stop making a part and not put in an upgrade. Bad business and no one has a answer.🤔☹️☹️😠

I was unhappy with how long my car took for repairs and I don’t feel anyone communicated well with me about the timeline. I also feel that if a car will take several days to be repaired, a loaner car should be offered to you. Lastly, when I went to pick up my car after service hours, the salesman in front told me he couldn’t give me my car because he couldn’t find my keys but he had barely looked. When I went back the next day to get my car, the servicemen told me the keys are always hanging on a board.
I thought it would be good to tell the public an idea of what the rates are before going in to the shop:For Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, and Other Makes the mechanics bill at $155 per labour hour.For Ram 2500+, Promasters, and diesel engines, $169 per labour hour.There is an $800 handling fee on customer supplied parts.When having work done in the shop, automatically you pay for warranties on labour and any replaced parts. At least this is what they told me when I wanted to take my car somewhere else to be fixed.
Came by to check out a Durango sales men seemed to have zero interest in selling it to me. I took it for test drive he said he was waiting on someone else to come in so he sent me off on my own. Came back after my test drive to tried talk prices, packages and he pretty much kind went over to the sticker and read off what was on it. I ended up going to another Jeep Dodge Dealer and buying there. Guess he thought the guy in jeans and a tshirt couldnt afford it.
My recent experience with the Commack store was very good to say the least. I called last minute for a part I needed desperately on at Saturday 10 mintues before they closed. And I have to say Dan from parts was more than accommodating. He actually stayed a little late to make sure I got what I needed. Rare these days to actually deal with people who care. Thank you!
Great experience.... David was very helpful and I will definitely buy all my vehicles from now on from there because I feel like it was family not like sales people trying to take my money, plus I got the best deal in the whole state. Just bought a left over new 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sahara for my wife. Great experience all around. No typical BS that we all know too well. I bought my Jeep here a few years ago and have had it serviced since then and have no complaints whatsoever. They do a good job and treat me well. Special props to Charles Catanese in the sales dept. He bent over backwards to get me the vehicle I wanted and he is a nice guy - not the high pressure slick sales pitch I got at other dealers.

Probably one of the most amazing experiences at a car dealership. David Daniels went above and beyond to get me into a Ram 1500 sport night edition. Hes not your typical salesman and will not be pushy. He was very attentive and thorough. He certaintly made sure I was completely satisfied before I left with my vehicle. Was there to assist a family member with a vehicle purchase. Just a note, she has purchased 3 vehicles from here prior. The salesman CHARLES, vas very impatient, dismissive, and unprofessional! Had more of a small dilapidated dirt lot used car salesman way about him. Very unfortunate because she was upset and was ready to drive home in a new vehicle! Oh well guess its on to the next dealer! Other people who work there and also may have been in a management position, for sure had to see we were not so happy and had no issues letting us walk out! WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER VEHICLE THERE AGAIN. And Charles a little advice: you can stick to your guns and get your point across without being a nasty disrespectful you know what to a female! Show some class for God sakes!

About 3 years ago, I dealt with Dave Daniels to lease a car. For a change, it was a pleasurable experience as I got the car I wanted at the price that Dave gave me. No surprises here --- not like the other car salesmen I have dealt with. So it was no brainer for me to go back to Dave when my boyfriend and I wanted to get a truck. My daughters 2016 Jeep Renegade has a check engine light. She attempted to make an appointment for service and was told, oh you dont need a appointment for a check engine light, just bring it in when we open. Well she did on a Saturday and was informed that the tech for check engine lights doesnt work on Saturday. She once again asked for an appointment and was denied for a check engine light. Since she is a full time college student and works two part time jobs, she inquired for a loaner in case she drops it off when the check engine tech is working and was told, only if we keep a car for a week, can you apply for a loaner. When I take my Honda in for service, I make an appt. in advance, everything is explained to me up front, I am asked (in advance) if a loaner car is needed and am treated as a valued customer.

Service advisor Ciro Martinez exemplifies what service is truly about!! Wow! Such a gentleman! He went above and beyond to help me with my Chrysler Pacifica 3rd row seat issues. It was an emergency and I needed the issue solved for my family ASAP. I used to go to Westbury Chrysler for 3 of my cars but they said no to helping on short notice. I tried many other place but everyone said no. Ciro was the only one that helped and it wasn’t easy for him to find help but he managed! He saved me so much stress that day! Go to Ciro @ Huntington Dodge Service Center. I’m taking all my cars there from now on.

Very good service worth the long drive
Went to the Commack location for a standard NYS inspection just because the place is right by my house. After waiting 2 hours for them to finish (normally takes 15 minutes), they provide me with an estimate of close to $2000 in repairs that they say must be done in order to pass. I then take my vehicle to my mechanic in Smithtown, and I pass inspection within 10 minutues as well as being told that none of the issues presented to me by Commack Dodge existed. This is not the first time this has happened to me at Commack/Huntington Dodge, as about 6 months ago I had a safety recall and was told I had a radiator crack and needed my rear differential serviced for about $1200...once again brought it to my guy and none of those problems were existed. Went back to the dealership to confront them on the issue and they continued to lie to me, insisting the problems were there. Bottom line, dont bring your vehicle to these guys for anything unless you want to be used like an ATM machine.
