Place was nice but had fruit flies flying around our food the whole meal. Waitress was nice but got the order wrong. Ordered 3 burger deluxe comes with fries,onion rings lettuce and tomato. We wondered why we had extra dishes of onion rings and found she added them to the order ( by accident Im sure, didnt seem to speak good english) at 8 dollars each. Food was bland. 3 burger deluxe and a soup with sodas cost 91 dollars plus tip. Doubt we will ever go back
This placed was great, but they must of changed ownership because they are awful now and cant ever get a order correct. After many mistakes I will have to move on from this diner and start getting from the Brownstone which has much better service.
Place was semi renovated and looks cleaner. Food was also very good. Will certainly go again.

Greeted and seating quickly. Waited a good amount of time to have order taken. Not 10 minutes into dinner and our food was being wrapped up even though diner not crowded. Food was OK, waitress was nice. Just dont like being rushed, didnt say anything as I didnt want to embarass my niece.

This is the one of the best diners on Long Island. Great staff, awesome food and an owner that truly cares about his customers.I have been coming here all my life. You cant find a better bacon cheeseburger deluxe. The fries are great and onion rings are out of this world! Other favorites of mine are the scratch pancakes, turkey club and Greek Salad to name a few....If you are in Commack, dont miss the opportunity to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner at The Candlelight Diner! You wont be disappointed! Love this place!

Dirty place. They need to refresh it. New carpet, new tables, new lights etc. I always feel like this place is for elderly people and feel embarrassed to be there. Food is ok.

This is a great place for late night eats. The wings here are my personal favorite. Usually come here late night after a long day at work and the staff is so personable and friendly. Before Covid I was a regular here almost every week for late night snacks. Its been about 8-9 months since my last visit, but the staff knew us and greeted us like it was just yesterday. I love it here. Highly recommend!

Wonderful food, and fast, friendly, attentive service. Its always been a pleasure to get a bite to eat here, day or night. Even with the current COVID-19 pandemic, I felt safe during my recent visit: They have proper barriers installed, PPE, and social distancing in effect as required, and clearly take cleanliness seriously. Their holiday decorations are quite lovely, too.

Came out of the covid bunker to eat for first time. sat outside.good portions (actually too much) and served hot and quickly.not crowded at the time. great service. they were respectful of our trying to prevent the spread of covid.

Nice place good diner. They have nice food and also good spot to meet your cousin riley for lunch. The food is good and price is alright. I last time I come here i got it was good. Im only problem here is that the diner is only lit using candles so if you come here at night you cant see and the waiters trip over everything and drop stuff. Really should just put some light bulbs. 5/5

One star is too much for this place. Terrible food and service. I went there with family and the service was terrible from the start. The restaurant was not busy, yet it took a long time to get seated. Whats worse was the attitude of the staff. The waitress was rude throughout the dinner. The food was equally bad. We had gotten a burger and wings. The wings was not even edible. Just a terrible experience.
If youre from Commack and you havent been here at 2am after a night of foolish decisions, youre not actually from Commack. Theres a reason its been here since the dinosaurs roamed the earth...food is great, menu is huge, and you never have to wait more than a few minutes to stuff yourself to capacity with their barge sized portions.
Tried and true. Always good food! I wish it was still as popular as in the past. The wait staff like roger have been there for years and are great people!

Joanne is a wonderful waitress, very attentive, and funny. she accurately delivered meals to our party of twenty and effortlessly served up coffee and desserts without prompting. all around compliments on food quality and not a cold dish was had. would definitely return. kudos to the owners.
After coming to this restaurant for years, they have never failed to amaze me. the staff is very polite and welcoming. As for the food, it is always on point and ALWAYS served fresh. Would totally recommend to anyone new. Love these guys!!

This is my go to diner. Out of all the diners in Suffolk County this is my favorite.My wife and I think the food here is delicious. Im a cheeseburger and fries type of guy and imho they do it the best.The food is generally served fast and the food portions are generous. The menu has a great variety of food and pricing is in line with other diners in the area.The diner is pretty big and they have adequate seating. Ive been going here for over a decade.

I was first introduced to the light fluffy delicious pancakes at Candlelight 18 years ago. They are still a family favorite and we go out of our way to visit and enjoy them to this day. The staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient without rushing you. Highly recommend for your family.

Been coming here for 2 years and have never been disappointed. The staff are wonderful, the service is great and the food is unbelievably so sooooo good. No matter what you order, you can never go wrong. Shouts out to the Candlelight Diner for being such a great place to grab a bite to eat!

One of the rare places in the neighborhood that are open 24 hours. Went to this place twice. Though the waitress looked tired and exhausted but the food was decent. Tried their pancakes, curly fries, and the chocolate shake. Their chocolate pancake was good but I didnt quite like their chocolate shake. Overall its a good place to go specially when its the only place open around

Reasonable prices for what you get. The prime rib my boyfriend ordered was a little tough as was the chicken in my triple crown parmagiana. Chocolate milk was delicious as was the hot chocolate. Friendly waiter and quick service.
Normally I have had better service. They offer a gluten-free menu, which is very nice to know. However, the waiter kept bringing me everything with gluten. Starting with the soup and then the main-course. For this, I was very disappointed.
Easy to see right off of Veterans Memorial Highway servicing Commack and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Moderately clean facilities. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. We will most likely be going back.
An incredible look e amount of tasty food at a reasonable cost. The prices may seem high when you read the menu, but once the plates of food arrive, you will understand.
Food was okay, we stopped in after a party for breakfast early morning around 3/3:30am. My egg platter was good nothing fancy although definitely satisfying, but 2 people in my group got waffles and complained that they tasted sour like the mix went bad. I ordered a mimosa and the waitress looked at me like I was crazy so I guess its really not the kind of diner you go to after a party or bar.

Used to go there all the time when I worked in East Northport. Since moving and working further east the diner was off our radar. We went back as we remembered the food being fantastic. Well, it still is. It was worth the drive from Port Jeff.
