Not well stocked! Everytime I go to that particular store there isnt anyone to help answer any questions and they never have one or two common items that I need. It never fails. Not a well managed store!

This smart and final is the best. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh. I never have to worry about molded fruits 😑. They have really good deals on there meats and well basically everything

This is my happy go to place for weekly shopping.Tremendous supply of fresh vegetables and fruits. Great selection of salads, cheeses, breads etc.Great dairy section, always able to find stuff the major markets are out of like buttermilk or creamer.Fresh meats abound, frozen foods by the row, plus the stuff you expect at Smart n Final for the catering crowd.

They close everyday at 10pm. Their produce is fresh clean well stocked isles. The staff is always friendly. They also have some keto options which is always nice as well.

Isnt it illegal to block an emergency exit?

My sister and I went there today, we normally go there to shop, and all of a sudden the cashier came to scan our cart saying it was policy because she saw a dollar tree bag in the cart. My sister then asked if she wanted to see what was in the bag, she then said no, but keep in mind there were alot of other people in the store and were the black ones and it was disrespectful of her to do something like that to us infront of pple...

I always like going to smart and final for when i need to get things in a bulk

Lines were long but we moved through quickly. Always clean & staff were very polite & friendly. Supplies are available.

Bought store brand cooking oil and breadcrumbs here. Both costed more than the store brand ones at Walmart which is a couple miles away. Also bought turmeric powder here, which I couldnt find at Walmart.

I went today for cat food and it was like 7 or 8 bags of different brand but I could not have the one I buy for my cat. Maybe next time I will find the one I buy...

This is my go to local. Everyone always has a smile and very pleasant. Even when the pandemic hit they were on top of their game! The store is always neat and clean and everyone is always willing to help. Lucas is a gem. S & F you are lucky to have him as an employee keep up the good work!!

Always a great experience there. Its clean, food is fresh and the service is excellent. The line moves very quickly and the cashiers have always been friendly!

Was asked in front of other customers in a very rude and upsetting way to remove my backpack!!! Never have been asked this before, i dont own a car and have to carry everything home not even in walmart do I get asked publicly to remove my backpack and when asked why was simply told because of theft and security purposes the store manager and security were very rude it was such a upsetting and embarrassing experience corporate needs to and will know about this, everytime I go to this store im followed by an associate

Love this smart & final. Carts are mostly available & wipes to clean in the front door. Always fresh produce & Im able to make this my final stop for my essentials.

I love Smart & Final Extra, there are always so helpful and friendly. Even during the pandemic they were courteous and tried hard to supply us. I would like them to have more frozen meat substitutes. And recently they had better fresher baged potatoes.

The manager was at the door and started getting baskets for customers I thought it was nice

Need more employees. Baggers, really. Having the cashiers scan, bag, and fetch for every customer is a kind but extra effort that jams the flow of business in the store.

This Smart & Final Extra is one that I like. How they have the items arranged is easy to follow. Their produce & meat selections are fresh & reasonable. The clerks are helpful & courteous at the check-out, actually anywhere in the store. My visits are always pleasant, check this place out hopefully youll like it too!

I love this place, they have everything at a great price and great customer service. Whatever you cant find at target or Walmart you will definitely find it here.

Great location! But horrible service. Every time I come in just to purchase a few items it’s only one line open and a long line. I spend more time standing in line then I did looking around then store. I would say they definitely need to have more help in the store to create a flow...no one likes being somewhere longer then they have to be.

Complete incompetence at the registers. 10 min looking for what i need as 45 min in line. Cashiers moving at the speed of snail. Absolutely horrible. Lines going halfway up the aisle.. oh and by the way... Im still in line. Itll probably be an hour in this line...

Great store has everything u are looking for

This store is a hybrid warehouse store and grocery store. The prices are higher than the grocery store it replaced. And the service is much slower. They only open one or two cashier lines at a time. When the lines back up into the aisles, they may open one more. The produce section is fresh and very well stocked. The meat selection is good, but overpriced. No butchers on duty. Bottom line is that it doesnt do a very good job as a grocery store. But if you need party supplies or cooking gear for a big event, it will suffice.

I wish the meat stock manager would put Neck Bones with the rest of the pork or go home! We have enough stupidity in Compton!

Good evening,I’m writing this email in regards to an incident that happened on Saturday in a Smart & Final store located at: 280 E Compton Blvd, Compton, CA 90220 in the Compton Towne Center Shopping Center. I am regular customer to this store, as I was doing my weekly grocery shopping I noticed that as I exited the parking lot I was missing my cellphone. I immediately remembered that I left it on the cart that I was utilizing therefore I quickly made my way back to the store. Since I am a regular customer I familiarize myself with the employees of this store. I quickly ask the person that collects the carts inside of the store if he had seen or picked up a pink glittered case phone about ten minutes ago and he replies with no. I turn to the security who was really helpful, he helped me look around the store and was very polite throughout the search. Everyone at the store noticed me frantically looking for my cellphone yet no other staff offered help. I asked the man who collects carts again if he was sure since he was the one to collect carts, still he assured he hadn’t found anything. As I was leaving I arrive home and remember my daughter activated the tracking system, she located my cellphone back at the Smart & Final store. We arrive at the store once more and I tell the security that my phone is located at the store and he was courteous enough to let me call my phone through his cellphone. I ask the man that collects carts that my phone is here and that I was sure. He asked me to describe the phone and I said it has a pink glittered case and he confirmed he hadn’t found anything but that this point he seemed nervous when I mentioned that I tracked the phone back to the store. The security was very understanding and he said let’s go to the back and see if there’s anything even though the man collecting the carts verified that nothing had been found. As the security knocks someone opened the door blocking the view and I peek through the door and see my phone on the table where more people were sitting and tampering with it. I said “That’s my phone!” Everyone grew silent and I grabbed my phone and walked out of the room, I thanked the security for the effort. I made my way to the front of the store and I told the employee who collects the carts that the phone was my phone, I asked why he wasn’t honest and he stood quiet. I told him I asked him for help many times and I described my phone, I asked why he kept my phone from me. No one in the store offered help expect the security. I don’t appreciate dishonest people being employed at a family oriented store it is not safe and unethical. The people in the employee room were tampering with my phone which is completely intolerable. This kind of character should not be a trait of a Smart & Final employee. I hope these people ATLEAST receive training for ethical behavior and moral conduct. My experience was unfortunate but the action of these employees was shameful. I won’t be shopping here and neither will my family. Shopping in an area where potential thieves are hired is a high risk for me and my family.

This is a big super with a lot fresh produce

This store is always very very clean and FULLY stocked I use to go to Smart and Final on El Segundo and Cebtral ave but now I drive a little farther and it worths the value! My favorite thing is the fresh rotisserie chicken (( its 1 and half chickens )) for $6 .. makes perfect for quick casserole and plenty of left over chicken for chicken salad sandwiches the next few days.

I know one thing for sure at this smart and final extra the employees here r very very helpful on the phone and in person. I want to say to all the employees at the Smart and Final in Compton on Compton Blvd THANKS YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!!!

I love my city. Glad to have a Smart & Final in CPT but, the store shelves where not stocked . The lines were 10 deep down the isles.

Well stocked and pretty clean. Good staff, depending on the time you go you could have a long wait in line.

This smart n final is much, much better, no comparison in fact, than the other in Compton, off central & El Segundo.
