***I copied my review from YelpGood prices, bad customer service.I came here with my sister over the weekend. The store kind of looks like a warehouse, and there arent many workers around that you can ask questions. The store was virtually empty, not many customers, which I liked.Everything was great until we got to checkout and an Asian male in his late 30s/early 40s checked us out. I didnt know where the reusable bags were since it was my first time here. The cashier directed us but he seemed in a hurry the whole time, and bothered by the question. He didnt make eye contact, just kept scanning and tried rushing us the whole time. I understand speedy service is efficient, but theres a thin line between efficiency and bad customer service. I felt like he was trying to get rid of us so he could help the next person. Horrible way of treating customers.

Very clean! Lots of not american-food choice. Its a german Store.. cheap too. I enjoy it!

Great location to buy good groceries in Compton. Just be careful with the parking here; catalytic stolen or car breaks.

Store was clean alot of good items to choose from they accept ebt also bring a quarter because you will need it get a cart and also they got options but not alot they do have good vegan food but mostly off brand stuff if you want deals I noticed there meats are prime meats and there a big portion and on sale better than target and most places I reconned buying the meat there if you have a big family tha j you for coming to my ted talk lol

This is one of the closest ALDI to my home. I found this place great, with a variety of food and drinks, nice staff, nearby Target, Best Buy etc.

It’s clean, but staff is very small/ slow. Service is very slow

Nice to run in and out, You definitely wont spend as much time in there as the in other grocery stores. Cant find a lot of items that I am looking for and items I usually get from the other grocery stores but they have some good items. They need more than 1 cashier for sure.

The mailed out sales papers; but did not have the merchandise in the store. They did not know when their truck was coming.I wonder was this a Compton case or do they do this for all their stores.The workers spoke, nicely. When they opened, the workers were ready to work. The price was a good price. I may not go back...

I absolutely love this store! I like the fact that theyre a quaint supermarket but I also love the fact that they have a lot of out of the ordinary products as well. They have extremely reasonable prices which is what keeps me coming back time and time again.

Great grocery store with great products. Quality and prices are competitive even with the limited selection of everyday basics and essentials. Whenever promos are on they simply cannot be beat. Store is clean. Staff is friendly.

I love this store! Although it doesnt have everything that other groceries have, the prices cant be beat (especially the meat)! I always find a deal here. I purchased the best 6 quart Dutch oven here for $20! TWENTY BUCKS! Definitely go to your local Aldis if youve never been... Im sure youll love it too!

Reasonable prices and food items

A few things I didnt find but I will return.

Very clean. Good prices. Tried new brand name products. So, no complaints. Ill continue shopping ther and Ill recommend to shop there for bargains and quality products. I like the check out set up and the grocery basket system

I dont mind shopping here but I dont think Ill be shopping here anymore you have to pay for the bags nobody bags your groceries I dont know if thats how they do it in Germany or Europe or whoever founded this store but for the prices that they charge you think they could at least load your groceries and bags customer service is a thing of the past and if Im going to pay high prices to load my own groceries Id rather go to a store I like better than this on a lot of snotty people in it I take nothing away from the staff

I finally made it into Aldi but why do I feel like a traitor. The store was clean and roomy, the people seemed nice. When the line started backing up a new checker opened right up. I would go back if they get self check out I would go regularly because of the prices and the unique items. Almost like a mini Costco without the bulk. I saw things for the home, clothing, toys and personal care items. I didnt get to go down every aisle so I may have missed quite a bit. The produce looked fresh and though Im not a meat eater they had plenty of it. Not too many familiar brands when it came to other items like canned and boxed goods. Maybe thats whats making me feel like a traitor😕

The cart system was a surprise. Dont forget your quarter. The store was small but it had a good little selection. I love how cheap their products are. I cant wait to try the food. The staff are okay some were nice and others seemed like they didnt want to be there.

The place is clean. The people that work there are nice and the food is reasonably priced.

This is the perfect grocery store if you want to save time and get the necessities. The prices are equal to or lower than most grocery stores though the some items are off brand items. I havent had any issues with customer service, always quick service and nice store reps. I also love how they have several garden, sporting goods, home goods and other items for great prices. Its become one of my go to stores when I want to avoid larger grocery store chains. Overall I hope this store does very well in Compton.

Nice clean store. Reminded me of costco but smallest version. Prices are good. You do need 25 cents to unlock a shopping cart, but it will be returned when you return your cart. Over all I liked it .

Lacks allot of merchandise, the vegetables are fresh but the rest, is w.e. But it was cheaper than any other store.

Id normally shop at this location every 1-2 weeks & have noticed some of the same issues discussed in previous ratings. From being charged twice to being rushed out after check out, the experiences seem to get worse & worse.During my last visit, I asked an employee (after searching for someone for 10 mins) of the pricing of an item was correct because it looked too good to be true. He confirmed the price & I proceeded to check out. My mistake was not double checking that the cashier did their job correctly since each item was actually charged 5Xs more than the listed price. In returning the items, the cashier was not properly trained in how to process the return & so kept calling to the manager in store called Jeff. This man was rude, condescending & unprofessional to both his employee & myself when asking him questions.Jeff proceeded to refer customers in line to other registers (employees came out of the wood works), leaving an older gentleman behind me to wait. This man waited 10-15 mins while the cashier tried to figure out how to return me my money, something Jeff was not helpful in. Eventually I tried to calm down the cashier as she was overwhelmed. The gentlemen behind me eventually called Jeff our for neglecting to helping him instead of allowing him to go to another register to pay prior to other customers; Jeff had the AUDACITY to yell at this older gentlemen, obviously projecting his frustration into him like he did with the cashier.This situation could had been prevented had Jeff properly ensure that listed prices where in fact correct. Advertising a bag of potatoes for $0.79 when theyre truly $5.79 started a chain of events that as manager is his responsibility. Jeff showed horrible leadership which obviously affects the moral of his staff as well as the experience of customer.As a former loyal customer, Ive seen many managers come & go. Jeff by far is the one that has painted Aldi in the worst light as the employment of such an unprofessional manager affects this location in many ways. Visit your local small business grocery or neighborhood stores instead.

Large location with lots of shelf space so products are easy to find. Closest one to my Mothers house so this is where Ill take her for her grocery needs. She was impressed by the selection and happy with the savings.

Its honestly a real hidden gem. I am actually glad at the moment that people dont know more about this store. We come here from huntington park because theres is nothing closer by us. Its nice to have other products besides Mexican foods that we are all surrounded bye. They have really great deals at this store and its not crowded like the other stores.

It was my first time there.Ms. Stephanie, the cashier, was pleasant and patient. I miss that type of experience with businesses today. ALDI-good call hiring her.

Bring your quarter to get your shopping cart. It has less items to go thru than regular store. Different brands. Prices are low here and there. You bag your own groceries away from the checkstand.checkers are fast.

It was okay but I dont like the fact that they throw and shove everything quickly in the cartif there was a big line to the back of the building I would understand but theres not so I dont understand the rush to put everything and shove it into your cart I really dislike that very much these are items were paying for their not giving them away so why dont they have a little bit more class and not shove things into your cart

Its a nice store!!! Very cheap. Theyve got some brands u dont see in other stores. Id go back to shop again.... When Im passing thru the neighborhood. Which is not very often. Now if this store came closer to my neighborhood... Carson,Torrance or even Lomita Id definitely would shop more often. Hint theres a space available on Pacific Coast Hwy and Narbonne Avenue in the city of Lomita! This sport would be perfect for an Aldi Market!!!!😁👍

There are 2 black guys who are very polite and respectful. Then today 10-19-19 at 230ish i had a question started to ask the very rude hispanic lady for help and she turned her nose up at me a spat the answer. She was so rude never going there again. Only to the one in bixby knolls. Compton never has anything from the sales papers its ridiculous.
