My Catalytic Converter was stolen off my vehicle. Ms.Gracy was so awesome. She helped me set up everything and got me in fast. Lots of places are full or have a hard time getting their converter but she took care of me. And the guys did a wonderful job on my vehicle. Best customer service ever!
Owner is extremely involved and cheerful, constantly made sure that I was happy with everything they were doing with my silverado. Staff is friendly and know what they are doing, and the welds were of good quality which genuinely surprised me. 5 stars 100% coming back here. Came here for a muffler delete.

I had my oil changed at a Meineke while I was visiting my sister in Louisville KY last week and drove home this past Sunday. When I got home almost 1000 miles my oil warning light came on. I was three quarts low, it had leaked out the oil filter was not put on properly.I began looking for another Meineke to take my 2018 Toyota Highlander to and found this shop. I read a lot of the reviews and must say some were not very flattering. My experience there was outstanding! The owner Grace walked out of her office and met me in the driveway. After explaining my situation she right away had my vehicle put on the rack and ordered parts needed a new filter and gaskets. The parts store was short handed, so she drove there and picked them up herself. Her mechanic Johnathan was meticulous and wanted to do a good job. We were very pleased with this shop and will be taking our vehicles there. And also highly recommend this business!

Grace is the best!!!! She owns this shop and takes personal care of every vehicle and customer she meets. She has such a passion for service and a dedication to her craft. She is very knowledgeable of every vehicle I have ever had to bring her and finished the last job on my 99 Yukon with over 300,000 miles in only one day when my brakes went out and I needed the vehicle for our long planned family vacation the next day. She will go over and above to take care of me and you and anyone who steps into her shop. I only take my vehicles there for everything now. She does just about anything and everything and with a smile and such grace. No wonder thats her name!!!

Gracie was just awesome! Got me right in for an AC checkup. Completed diagnostic and repair in under an hour! The cost was super reasonable. Vents cleaned, replaced 2 jets and recharged freon for under 200 bucks! Great service
The Conroe location is outstanding no matter where I move I will drive back to that shop, Gracie is the manager and she takes care of you, her staff team of mechanics are top notch they get you in and out of there in record time, if you are stranded or your car has to stay for overnight or more than one day Gracie will see to it that you get home or wherever you need to go. She takes it personally that you feel safe when you leave her shop, I highly recommend this business especially for single women who don’t have a second car or anyone to help them. I’ve been going to the shop for seven plus years and I will continue to go there, I recently had my check engine light come on and before I got to her shop had a fender bender, I threw my tail light cover in her trash when I went back to get my car I was so amazed when I pulled up and saw that she had personally taken that cover out of the trash and put it back on for me you could hardly tell I even had an accident, she goes above and beyond what any other shop would ever do, she takes care of her customers, if I could give her a 10 star rating I would! I live in the Woodlands and I’ll pass a lot of shops that I could take my car to but I will never go anywhere else.

I would like to share an experience I had dealing with car issues. I was at a time where my budget needed very attentive handling and the car I had just bought was not working. It was so urgent and necessary for it to pass inspection and more. I came across “Meineke car center” on my way to work and the extraordinary began- Gracy a very sophisticated lady and the two workers realized in an instant the mechanical needs in the situation, but not only with great human insight they knew the urgency as it was for me and with incredible expertise tenacity, determination, diligence, attention to my safety, professionalism, yet very dedicated business standings the realized the unbelievable task to get this vehicle totally acceptable in its function to get me where I need it to take me in a very safe way. Took in my car for check engine light diagnostic for the ECU they had it for a week car was running when dropped off when i was able to pick up the car died and only to be told i need a needed a new engine when that wasnt the problem if Gracie read the code correctly she would have saw the ECU/PCM was going out there was no reason to find a buyer for my car before i even picked it up i would recommend whoever uses this shop to find somewhere else
Quick friendly service. My car is my job so I cant have long downtimes, Gracy and her crew got my car fixed and back on the road! It was nice being treated like a valued person instead of a just being left in the waiting room wondering whats going on.

Everytime I turn around the lady that runs this place is screwing people over looks to me like she has the ability to delete bad reviews I would check them out on Facebook ( I LOVE CONROE) or Any other Conroe page place is the worst for sure. Whatever you do, dont take your vehicle to this business!!!!! They dont know what theyre doing and wont tell you that, even after theyve caused more damage to your vehicle. Avoid this place AT ALL COSTS! On Facebook there is a Conroe group organzing people who have been misquoted, overcharged, or lied to about services provided here by crazy Gracie. Ive read over 40 comments from customers who will be reaching out to the BBB or a lawyer regarding this places terrible customer service. One person was charged $400 over dealership price.
The lady here is extremely rude, she acts like she’s providing free service when we are paying customers. There’s plenty of places out there for me to give this place my money again.
I called in to ask about getting a diagnosis on my car, was told to come in for courtesy check. When I got there, I found out that it was the manager, and she said it was $50, that is a courtesy because its the cheapest in town. The then asked me what the problem might be, just to follow up by saying but you dont know if thats the problem, because you are an amateur. Very rude, inconsiderate, and highly unprofessional person. Would recommend never visiting, not even for courtesy check ups

Just wanted to give a recommendation for Meineke Car Care Center 160 at 215 Frazier in Conroe. If you want to pay for a manicured waiting room with massage chairs...go elsewhere. If you want your car fixed right at a reasonable price, these people are honorable, hard working, honest and stand by their work. I only wish we found them sooner. It may technically be a chain but its an owner on premises small business franchise - been in business for 28 years.Thank you Meineke 160!
I was a little skeptical about using a small repair shop instead of the dealer. Boy was i impressed! Gracie was just as nice in person as she was on the phone. No doubt she had the best price in town, and they got it done even faster than she quoted! Will definitely go back next time something comes up

Called around different places to find brake service that wouldnt break my wallet. This Meineke had the best deal and the owner, Gracy, made us feel comfortable with our decision and helped us out with our tires, as well. She even had the mechanics give us a tour of our suburban with the tires off so we could see what shape the rotors and brake pads were in. It was clear to see that we needed new rear rotors and front brake pads, so it felt like we were treated fairly and paid what it was worth. Felt like we werent ripped off. Thats the kind of business for which we can become repeat customers for other services!
The place I went to before coming here (which is highly rated) said there was nothing wrong. Kept my car for 3 days and never touched it. Turns out it was a damaged coil that needed to be replaced. Gracie replaced the coil, replaced spark plugs, aligned and rotated my tires for me. All in a couple of hours, the same day. The car drives perfectly now with no stuttering at idle. I’ve been dealing with this for almost a year thinking nothing was wrong! I really don’t understand the negative reviews on here. She was very transparent and professional about the whole thing. She even showed me the damaged coil which I really appreciated. At first I was shocked about the price but after looking at the parts online, the price was actually very reasonable. I’ll be coming here for my auto needs from now on. Thank you Gracie!
I had an issue with Mercedes-Benz and some warranty work that they did not want to honor. I called Gracie at this store and received the most courteous and helpful advice on how to deal with the problem which involved brakes. Even though I finally got Mercedes-Benz to do the work under warranty, I was amazed at the concern Gracie showed for my situation. If I ever need work done on any of my vehicles this will be the first place I go!!!

This place use to be great. Not anymore. The Meinke in Houston only charges $740 for a full set of brakes and rotors This store charged $1,058. The excuses were its take a special tool, and the back axels is harder to do, we are independently owned I dont know why the other Meinke is lower...... They were $300 higher than taking it to the dealer ship! Come to find out discount brakes would have done it for $500 front and back plus tax. This is my fault for not shopping around but you use to not have to with this store. I sent my wife in with no worry that she would be treated fairly, man was I wrong! Ow and $25 dollars for adding DEF (not the cost of they DEF that was another $25...) I was told I was getting the best brake pads and even getting half off the pads. I dont see the savings when the job was $300-$500 more then anyone around. Also the service light is still on which is why the car was brought in to begin with. When leaving the tech told her he had not even plugged the car to the reader to see what the code was. How do you FULLY diagnose a vehicle for required maintenance and dont run a diagnostic for the service light that is on? he told her drive it around I just cleared it and it should go off (It has not). When questioned about the extremely high price the owner kept raising her voices and saying you didnt have to come here, its a lot of labor, there was a specialty tool.... Looks like i paid for that tool and they kept it. Save your money and the headache and find reputable company over this place.

I have to say Gracie is 1 in a million. Last year my A/c in my truck went out . Not 1 business would help me everyone wanted 2-3000 .. They wanted to charge me 100-150 just to look at it. I drove by Meineke and saw the sign so I called i got Gracie she said come in and talk to me. It was literally 105 that day she said said your face is so red . I could of cried .. It was a 1500 job but she worked everything out with me . shes amazing ... l love this women .... Thank you Gracie
I took my car in here a few times and everytime it was never a minor thing. I believe the least price they gave me was $350. The last time I was told I had a serious leak leaking everywhere they told me $750 to fix it. I took my car to another shop they fixed my car for $82.. definetely get a second opinion!!!!

I had a great experience at this location. I was actually at Firestone waiting to get my AC charged when the owner called me back. She offered a great price and had an open spot for me to come right in. I was not disappointed by the decision to go this location. I talked to the owner a majority of my time there and I really appreciated their respect for military veterans. The employees were very respectful and the atmosphere was amazing. I will be referring my friends to this location.

I end up waiting 20 minutes for her to tell me to come back tomorrow and she has the audacity to make me feel like it was my fault. Very rude and terrible service. I walked in the place because I was recommended by my neighbor. Boy I tell you the customer service was out of this world. Mrs. Gracie is a God fearing and sweet and respectable lady. She personally gave me a ride home and picked me up while her staff worked tirelessly to figure out the AC problem with my wife’s car. And the performance of the AC is running like brand new. I had an exhaust leak on my Nissan Frontier, throwing engine light. I feared the worst (cracked manifold). However they assured me theyd look at everything and luckily just needed flange gasket replaced, and was out of there in an hour. Great speedy service at decent price, and very customer friendly.
BUYERS BEWARE!!! Gracie’s shop sounds like an awesome deal at first. She puts on an image of a great, friendly, sweet shop owner just wanting to take care of you. Then the trouble starts…It’s a long con, especially if you start using her shop exclusively. First she’ll quote you one price for a repair, then charge a higher price when it’s time to pay your bill. Then she’ll start slowly raising prices outright. At one point I brought in a family car and she quoted a price THREE TIMES OVER that of another mechanic in the area; not to mention, the diagnostic I paid for was way off the mark. Most mechanics try the simple/most obvious solution first; Gracie picks what she guesses is wrong, and charges you whether your car is fixed or not.Her employees also seem very questionable; it’s been suggested some of them are drug users, and they don’t seem very competent or reliable. I’ve heard stories and you can also find reviews all over the internet of botched brake jobs, sometimes with parts missing! Do you really want to have to check over a mechanic’s work?You are better off with any other shop on even the same street.

This place has great service and honest pricing. The owner Gracie is amazing and super sweet! I have been here a couple of times to get my brakes done before and they did a great job. Then today I had an issue with my car not starting so I called Gracie to let her know I was goinf to have it towed to her shop so they can fix it for me. She recommended an affordable tow service which was really helpful. Then I told her I would not be able to pick it up my car til the next day since I had no way of transportation today so she offered to come pick me up from my house and bring me to the shop once my car was fixed but I couldnt do that since I have a newborn baby and toddler with me so then she offered to have her mechanics deliver my car to my house once they were done fixing it. I couldnt believe they would do something so nice! She said she didnt want to leave me stranded at home with the kids without a car and I couldnt have been more appreciative! They got my car fixed up quickly and again at a reasonable price and they delivered it to my house. Thats what I call excellent customer service! This is my go to shop!
My truck was overheating and I had already been to a gas station and tire shop, neither of which would let me use their hose. Mrs. Gracie immediately told me to pull around back and was waiting with the hose in hand. Compassion and courtesy go a long way with me and are very rare these days.
A very great shop to go to! They were very quick and helped me out a ton! A big issue I thought I had with my engine turned into a tiny fix that cost little to repair. The owner was very sweet and really cares to get to know each of her customers on a personal level. The workers out in the shop were quick as well, and were opened to looking for other problems. If you need a quick fix, brakes, oil, or to just have your vehicle looked over with someone you can trust please go to them.
After knowing Gracie, owner of Mieneke, for over 20 years. I decided to pay her a visit because my check engine light came on. Her mechanic said I needed to replace the spark plugs and wires, then it was a fuel injector, then it was a manifold gasket. After paying over $800.00. I drove my truck to where I bought it. Luckily it was under warranty because it was a blown head gasket. I took a copy of the problem to Gracie. And she didnt offer a refund or at least an apology. Business was slow and she saw me as a paycheck, not a good customer.

Received an advertisement for a $14.99 oil change in the mail, for my local Meineke. I went online to schedule the appointment and put in the notes area the details of the coupon. No one spoke to me as I walked up to the lobby. I was ignored for ten minutes before anyone came to the counter. When the lady did arrive at the counter I told her I was there for an appointment I made. First thing out of her mouth was that she is independently owned and does not honor any of the Meineke sales. I was disappointed, but that was not what made me upset. It was the tone, demeanor, facial expression, and attitude of the owner that was upsetting. I was upset also because my contact information was on the schedule, and no one bothered to contact me to let me know my coupon would not be honored until I showed up at the appointment time. Then she just said it will cost $50. I began asking her about the services she did provide and the cost, and her inability to answer me was alarming. Typically, a business would want to give you this information as an opportunity to sell to you, however I really felt like I had to pull information out of her about the services and prices. This was the most awkward experience I ever had with a business. It was like she wanted to turn me away regardless for some reason. Her responses were very condescending and did not fully or accurately answer my questions. I would have paid for the services if the customer service wasnt so terrible, because I really needed an oil change before leaving for a trip. My time was completely wasted, I will never go there again for anything, and I wouldnt recommend anyone else going either! Wish I read these reviews before scheduling, they negative ones are accurate. Customer service is TERRIBLE. I decided I did not want their service at all! I left and will be getting my oil change elsewhere even if it is full price.

When we got our shocks and struts done, they did an amazing job. We took our vehicle back up there cause we thought they were messing up again. I just asked the tall skinny dude to take a look at the job they had done. Well he came back asking for $50 for a diagnostics. I didnt authorize a diagnostic. I only asked what I wanted and they mentioned nothing about the money. They guy starting arguing with us in front of our kids and was being very disrespectful. He threatened to call the cops only cause we were telling them that they hid the price. But there wasnt supposed to be a price cause I only asked them to check what they did. I dont trust these people anymore. Never going back to that location.
I went in because of a web spacial advertising 45% off service, when I checked in I was informed that they do not honor any of the web specials as they are independently owned and would give me a special discount but wouldnt disclose what that meant. Personally, I wouldnt trust a business to work on anything I own if they cannot give me a price before they begin the work.

If I could give 0 stars I certainly would. I was quoted by the owner Gracie that it would be $100 to fix the motor in my car door IF I were to buy the part. She stated there was no need to make an appointment as it would only take 30-45 minutes. However when I went in the mechanic stated I hate putting these in and told me it would be 6 hours. There were 2 cars in the shop and none in the parking lot. So I called the next week to make an appointment. I was.then told 3 hours and the price shot up to $250. When asked why the difference Gracie told me I didnt realize how long it was going to take and sometimes I just spit out a number. Within 2 minutes she came down to $150. When I inquired about the extra $50 she said that because I bought the part and that she didnt make any money off of it therefore I needed to pay extra. I asked if she would honor her original quote she refused and proceeded to tell me if I died like I find someone else. I called her back to ask a question. She heard my voice and hung up on me. I went to another shop and had it done for $100 in 45 min with no appointment. That was the quote I got from 6 other places I called just to check. FYI please try Discount Brake and Auto Repair on North Frazier in Conroe. The entire staff is not only courteous to everyone but appropriate pricing and knowledge regarding all things expected. No questions about it.

No wait for a 4 wheel alignment, contrary to a 2.5 hour wait down on 105, honored coupon I had, no nonsense, no con service. I only had with me a credit card that the shop did not take. Gracy was so kind to allow me to have the work done, go home and call in the acceptable credit card that the shop takes. Definitely going back ! Integrity right there !

When I first called a couple days ago to get a quote for an alignment and check struts, Gracie gave me a fantastic price for my car. She not only remembered me when I showed up, but her costumer service was wonderful.Upon getting my car on lift, the mechanic (forgot his name) brought me into the shop to show me the computer diagnostics. I LOVE IT WHEN MECHANICS DO THAT! Being a woman, I always have to be on my toes when it comes to the auto field. Integrity is hard to come by these days, and this company upholds that value.I had a short wait time (no more than an hour), and my experience was fantastic from the time I pulled in to the time I left their shop. Dont know what Bubbas problem was, but he should give them another chance. I would DEFINITELY recommend this shop!

I went in for a simple muffler attachment. Gracie managed to beat the other quotes I was offered. She even managed to beat my Do-it-yourself expenses. They were quick, to the point, and very well manered. Will definitely be visiting again.
Buyer Beware!The reason for my visit to Meineke was that my truck was experiencing a loss of power on acceleration and an engine misfire. The check engine light was on and indicated a problem with the mass air flow sensor and random misfires. Having had some experience as a mechanic I felt that the mass air flow code could be a result of the engine not being able to breath, exhaust clogged, so I took my truck to Meineke at 215 North Frazier Street in Conroe Texas. I believed these folks to be exhaust system specialists.Let me start by saying that when I took my vehicle in to Meineke I was impressed with Gracie’s confidence that she had diagnosed my vehicles problem. She charged me 50.00 for the diagnostics and mechanics diagnosis seemed to make sense. I was astonished though that her estimate for repairs was 1500.00 but like I said her diagnosis seemed to make sense. Little did I know that the diagnosis was based on a guess. I was told that for the 1500.00 my catalytic converters, fuel metering block and pop-its would be replaced and this would correct my vehicles problems.After they had replaced all the parts they said needed to be replaced for the 1500.00 the problem still existed. The mechanic then proceeded to install additional parts that had not been part of the original quotation and the owner, Gracie, added them to my bill. Even after the replacement of additional parts my truck still has the exact same issues and I was told that now the MAP sensor needed replacing. When asked why replacing the originally quoted parts - that they diagnosed as the issue - did not fix my vehicle I was told that they never guaranteed that the repairs would fix my vehicle. What does that mean? Who would agree to spend that kind of money and not expect it to be fixed. Would you not say that it will cost 1500.00 to diagnose the vehicle if you were not confident in your diagnostics? No, they quoted 1500.00 for the repair of my vehicle, not the diagnostics of my vehicle. Remember, I already paid 50.00 for a diagnostic. When pressed for a further explanation Gracie’s response to me was why didn’t I fix it myself if I had experience as a mechanic. Obviously this is irrational since I am the customer paying with my hard earned money. Why would she care if I’ve had experience as a mechanic? I trusted her to have integrity and fix my vehicle. Clearly she was getting upset that I would expect my truck to be fixed after spending that kind of money. I was done, better just pay the money and go somewhere else for the repairs. While attempting to pay my wife was told that they would not accept our credit card as payment. We would need to bring cash or she would not release my vehicle. Wow, I was shocked. We did not have cash for the repair. We intended to pay by credit card so this really set us back.To top it all off she ended up threatening to call the police on me. I must admit that I told her that she should. I wanted her to call the cops. I was not going to win this argument, not that I needed to, I just wanted my money’s worth. I figured that since that was not going to happen let her call the police on me. This was in the hope that it might turn some unsuspecting person away and ultimately save them money and hurt Gracie’s Business. The police seemed to agree with me but really this is civil matter so what could they do? Nothing really but be sympathetic.Buyer Beware!
Excellent customer service. This shop went above and beyond to help me with my brakes since I was with out a key to my wheel locks! Fast and friendly!
Do not bother going to this location unless you prefer terrible deceitful customer service.My husband took our new used van in to have a tune up. He informed Gracie not to start work on the vehicle until he ( my husband) said to because he had only two hours before he had to pick up our children from school. Two hours go by with no word on the vehicle, Gracie is being very sweet and talky the whole time. Half an hour before school let out he informed her it was about time for him to go and he would have to come back after to have whatever actual work that needed to be done, done. She then informs him that several filters need to be replaced and had the mechanic show them to him, exclaiming how filthy they were. She also informs him ( husband) the mechanic already began work so she would herself take my husband to the school to get the kids. Very weird, but the lady is kooky so he chalked it up to that.They retrieve the kids and they all head back to the Meineke. A while passes the time up is done husband pays 309.00 and comes home. Not twenty minutes later Gracie calls my husband and informs him that she accidentally voided our transaction after he left the location, so he needs to come back and pay asap.Weird right? I call the bank right away and they confirm a pending transaction of 309.00 and advise I dont pay her again until the transaction falls off, it could be 4 days.. Unless I want to be out 618.00. Well, I was going to HEB anyways so I went to the location to speak with her and ask what in the world caused her to void our transaction and what could we do to fix it. Turns out after speaking to her that she has no idea what caused her to void our transaction. She also cant tell me for sure if it will charge me twice if I pay her again right then. I explain to her that I do not have another 309.00 to give her until the transaction she voided drops off my account. She gives me the voided receipt ( not time stamped mind you) and I tell her I will return to pay her as soon as it drops of, and we both agree it could take up to four days.Its now been two and a half days and she not two hours ago had my car repossessed for non payment. Im left with a transaction receipt from when my husband payed her, the void receipt she created, and no vehicle. She did not give a warning phone call or anything. She knows I have five children who depend on that crappy minivan to get around in. Now Im faced with having to go to her in the a.m. to sort this out if possible.Oh, and there is the irony that its national womens day as well.Do not go to this location.

Dont deserve any stars and tried talking to manager and she got rude and ugly with me when I was trying to recover the money my son wasted on these shade tree mechanics on car repairs that they charge extremely to much and the owner took advantage of him and not willing to give any of his money back a specifically said he will not get any of his money back her ridiculous prices for half done jobs are whats keeping her in business. My called the owner and she blocked his number. My son even tried to talk and reason with her on the situation but she acted so ugly and pacificly said he will not get a refund after he had spent over 2500 to fix his car.
