Come for the coffee stay for the art work. The art work and decor give a very unique feel. Ive been staring at their coffee table in aww of the detail for a good min now. Im loving their toasted marshmallow hot chocolate, and their tall white mocha is amazing. It feels almost like an art exhibit in here. Well worth the drive and visit. Ill be coming back for sure.

Update April 16 stopped in for scoop of Wisconson black cherry Ice Cream. Smooth and delicious a 10 star. Must go back for more.Conveniently located across from Montgomery Courthouse, even with a sign outside, sad.Nostalgic Coffee, pastry and ice cream parlor. Had 2 blueberry cream cheese pastries and coffee under $10 and delicious. Somewhat friendly service. Will return.

What a quaint little coffee shop in downtown CONROE! If youre tired of all the trendy shops with just ok coffee that are lacking in character then this may be the place for you.The atmosphere is old fashioned with just a HINT of modern, but certainly old school enough to bring back that nastalgic sense of childhood peace and calm! This is a great spot to catch up with old friends and have a leisurely afternoon.We had lattes (a mocha and a caramel) that were very good. The espresso was very smooth and the milk steamed just right. Didnt try any food items on this visit but it looks great! They have gluten free options for those who require it.

Great coffee, large latte list with pretty much any sweet flavor you could want in a coffee - specifically those with a sweet tooth. Baristas have always made my coffee just fine so quality has been consistent in my experience!Only con is not a whole lot of seating because the space is a bit small for my taste in study spots, but its an appropriately size for the amount of customers from what I have seen!

Really great coffee, but only one person working on a Saturday morning makes for an uncomfortable wait. (Second visit: still a laughably long wait, but we were at a training at the Jett Center and this iced coffee really was necessary!)

The BEST coffee Conroe has to offer! My wife loves the London Fog, I, myself, prefer the Nutella Latte! They come out perfect everytime! Just wish they could get more of those Earl Grey Scones!

This was a lovely surprise during a recent road trip. We had to stop off for half an hour to kill time and stumbled into this little coffee shop and the atmosphere and vibe are uniquely artistic. Great place to grab a delicious beverage and just absorb the good vibrations of the lounge.

I love the whimsical atmosphere and how they decorated the area! The cupcakes are delicious because they are made by their gourmet chef from Conroe that delivers them there daily! The staff are friendly and are honest on which items are their favorite. The coffee ideas are great and have anything from smoothies to black coffee to frappuchinos!

Been here twice now, and after todays experience Ill keep coming back when I can.I like going to mom and pop coffee shops. Love the different vibes they offer that you will just never get from the big box chains. I like to collect labels from this little hole in the wall places of coffee nirvana. Most times they will have stickers by the register for customers with their logo and Ill grab one to put in my journal. I noticed that beanpunk didnt have anything like that set up but I did notice that they did make their own to put on their To-go cups. (I am very antisocial and have a hard time talking to strangers but my wanting to continue my collection pushed me to step out of my comfort zone and converse with the girl behind the counter.) I asked the barista if it would be possible to get a sticker like they put on the cups for my journal. She was a bit confused and extremely skeptical at first but when I pulled out my book and showed her what I was talking about she went and grabbed me one. That simple act spoke volumes on many levels, and THAT alone is why I will definitely be back in.Well that and the Nutella latte that taste sooo yummy.

Love this coffee shop in the heart of downtown Conroe. Great British vibe and the owner is so fun and great to talk to. I often meet local clients here for my web design and social media management business. The Polar Bear coffee (peppermint mocha) is one of my all time favorites but everything I have ordered from here has been great. Highly recommend.

Bean Punk is a great place to go relax and have a refreshing cup of coffee or tea... They even have delicious sandwiches and pastries! Everything is so good. Its also cool to go and see her art exhibit in which she supports local artists by displaying their work. Whether Im just stopping in to get a drink to go, or hanging out with a friend in the shop; Im always have an excellent experience and leave happy.

Excellent small town feel to this great little shop in the historic Conroe downtown district. We wanted to get away from the big city and have a little small town experience, and thats exactly what we got here. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They let us taste test their home made ice cream. Coffee was great too. Uniquely decorated.

Coffees were on point. Pastries on the dry side. Prefer if they just didnt sell them rather than day old. Thats from the separate but co-located bakery, so I wont be too harsh.Update:Another killer espresso and the pastry was excellent. I obviously caught a bad day last time around.

I will not return here. I received a latte with no foam. I sat outside to enjoy the weather, but also their decor is just dreadful inside. Anyways, a bee fell into my coffee and they were super sweet to me about it and made another latte that still had no foam. This place had WONDERFUL service for the most part. They fall short in about everything else.Though I appreciate the owners reply(a bit of an unprofessional response) in no way did you take ownership for the quality of your coffee. I understand moving and what chaos that must cause. The place has potential and the service was great. And because of your reply, I still stand by what I said. This could have taken a better direction, but your response did not improve my opinion of this small family business.

Fun fun place. We went a morning when local guitar group was practicing. It was a wonderful accident that we showed up the morning when locals were picking their guitars together. The guitar group included an eclectic variety of locals whose inclusive and funky spirit reflects the charming eclectic interior.

A small, local business in the heart of downtown Conroe with AMAZING coffee. I love the vibe and ambiance inside as well, but the coffee is so good as well as the pastry’s they sell their. (Try the blueberry scone!)

I absolutely love this place. It seems like its so rare to find local, hole-in-the-wall coffee shops nowadays with everything going to the green megamonster Starbucks lol. BeanPunk has amazing drinks and friendly service and the vibe is so relaxing and calming! I ask my husband for a coffee date here as often as we can and every time its been just the right thing.

Ive only been here a handful of times but they never disappoint! The staff is always so friendly and helpful. I was lucky enough to go on a day where they we offering free samples on their holiday pies and let me tell you, it was delicious!! Definently a gem in Conroe.

Disappointing that iced coffee is served by pouring hot drip coffee over ice. This method dilutes the coffee making it weak in flavor. A coffee shop should know better, try harder. If Im going to spend $4 on coffee, I expect better.

Excellent coffee and great WiFi

Upon arrival, I was questioned by the manager before I was even able to use the restroom- I’m very pregnant, and she stopped me to tell me if I wasn’t going to be a customer that I couldn’t use the restroom. So then I find out there is not even any soap in the restroom and I can only assume that the employees are obviously not even washing their hands! I was super disgusted and in the end WAS NOT A CUSTOMER!

Great place! The owner is really nice and the coffee is delicious! I had the cinnamon mocha and a dirty chai latte (I was there a while doing hw) and enjoyed both. Definitely recommend.

The prices were comparable to other coffee stores but BeanPunk had an amazing atmosphere. Very laid back and amazing art all over the walls. Highly recommend stopping by and trying the milky way.

Saw it passing by on other business. Stopped by for a latte for myself, a polar bear for my wife, and a cafe mocha for my son. Christian served us. He was very polite and the coffee was great. They have a neat sitting area as well. Were not in Conroe often, but if were back, well stop by again. Recommend.

There was only one guy working, so the customer service was a little slow, but it was a great place for my classmate and I to study on a Monday afternoon.WARNING- if you park in an angled spot on the street, DO NOT REVERSE INTO IT. My sweet sister-in-law is in town for a visit. She asked if I know of a good local coffee and sweet shop so we could chill. Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day to introduce her to Conroe Coffee. Leo, a very personable lady (owner) with hints of a British heritage in her voice, welcomed us with (practically) open arms. The coffee and desserts were good. We sat outside under an umbrella and soaked in the ambiance. Its an eclectic little gem that makes you feel like you are in hip and happening Austin. Leo told me well-behaved dogs on leashes are always welcome to tag along with their human mommies/daddies. My kind of place! Also, ice cream is SOON going to be served!

This place is wonderful! Not only is the coffee delicious, the muffin I got was just right. Love the ambiance and the staff -- and the owner took the time to talk with us for a bit. Definitely a favorite!

I love trying out local coffee shops but this is the second time I have tried this place while I was in town and both times the iced espresso tasted extremely acidic, burnt, and bitter, so much so that I was not able to drink it. (maybe theyre grinding their beans too fine or the water is too hot?) As some other people have mentioned the prices are high, $6+ for a medium iced flavored latte with coconut milk. I dont have a problem paying for high quality but this was really disappointing. Looking back I probably should have stayed and asked for my money back. I am assuming from the high ratings that the regular coffee and food must be better.

Travel a lot, and really enjoy trying out the local coffee shops around the country.Conroe Coffee has a good location, and decent setup (despite being a bit dark inside) but woefully disappoints when it comes to espresso drinks.My latte was extremely bitter, suggesting low quality or old beans, and/or poor dialing in of their equipment.If the focus is just normal dark coffee, that’s fine, but if you sell espresso (especially at such a high price) it should have some form of quality.The young man who served me was friendly and seemed to know how to steam milk properly, but if I came back, it would be for ice cream not coffee.

The breakfast options is very delicious and cooked perfectly. Their menu is more dedicated to the different variety of coffee they offer. They also sell ice cream but they didnt have any non-dairy ice cream which is okay but I wished they had some non dairy options.

This is such a cozy place with really great coffee. The owner is such a sweetheart, and the bakery side is pleasant as well.

I love the quirkiness of this coffee shop. Its in the heart of downtown and has good coffee--not cheap, but good. I wish they had a few more food-type offerings on the menu, such as another couple of sandwiches. Other than that, I think its better than Starbucks in my opinion.

Really like the place. The brewed coffee is really good and dark like I like it. Just kind of hard to pay over $4 for a plain brewed coffee. I try to support local but at that price, it makes it difficult.

There was one guy working..... the slowest person on earth.... almost 10 minutes to makes a 20oz white chixolate coffee... guy was more interested in talking and tweaking his buddies drink then helping me. Prices are a bit high. This was my first and most likely last time in.

First time to visit. We loved it! Well definitely be back. Historic downtown Conroe near vintage Crighton Theater. Atmosphere is lively on weekends. Yummy smoothies, delicious frappes, eclectic decor, live music some nights. Had a great time with friends!!

Great selection of coffee, smoothies, ice cream and pastries. We went with a few friends, our toddler, and friends corgi. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and inviting space. We will definitely be back.

Nice lil spot to enjoy cup of coffee. I want to say that the tomato basil soup was really good here. However the latte was way too sweet, and our grilled sandwich was served warm outside but frozen inside ... They fixed it by reheating it .. Overall nice spot with limited seating .

Attention everyone in Montgomery if you are going to come in Beanpunk for coffee call ahead to see if painters have taken over the coffee shop. There was no room to sit down. I walked in then observed folks painting and drinking wine. I had a party of 6 friends coming to have coffee and there was no room for us. They had wine bottles and partying and laughing. Is this a coffee shop ??

The nutella coffee tastes great, it actually tasted like nutella and coffee.

The service is GREAT!!! You can get samples of the icecream, they have nice pastries, its not too expensive. I mean, I am NOT rich at all, but I can go there, so its pretty nice. Also, its pet friendly, the staff is great, and so is the decor😄

Looks like a nice place but it was closed at 3pm ln Sun when Google states it will be open until 7pm. Not super happy about this because I drove 30 min to get here.

Second review: almost eight bucks for a frappe and almost seven for a breve. Both the smallest size!!! Their taste is still better than chain coffee places, but this almost hurt my feelings. I’m very into small local businesses, but 14+ bucks for what I ordered is just wrong. I’m moving on to more fair prices.1st review: five stars, Better than Starbucks. More character too.

This coffee house is filled with charm and the decor is amazing. Located right down from the courthouse building in Conroe Texas and conveniently located next to crighton theater it is in a perfect spot for a cup of coffee, tea or a snack. Although these are all positives the coffee is lacking. The decaf mocha has a slight bitter taste that I find undesirable in a good cup of coffee. The chocolate they use for the coffee does not seem to be of good quality. With this type of issue in a mocha I can usually improve the taste by adding a bit of stevia. However, I was not able to do that with this cup.Everyone has different tastes that they like when it comes to coffee so you may want to give this one a try and see if this fits your particular taste. I love trying independent coffee shops. There are not nearly enough of them so they should be supported.

The coffee is great, the atmosphere is great, but i was frustrated when the barista asked me to wait a little while to place my order because she was backed up. she proceeded to take the order of another woman right in front of me after i had already waited about 15 minutesupdate: got tired of waiting. went to starbucks.

I was so excited to go into this establishment and get a cup of coffee before the Christmas parade this afternoon. I ordered two Americanos and waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. After 20 minutes, I informed the cashier that I needed to just be refunded because the parade was starting. The Barista was quick to turn around and quite rudely inform me that they were very busy and I would have to wait for a coffee or for a refund. I explained how long we had waited and that I could just get a refund. She told me I would be waiting for a refund because they were busy. So I get, the establishment was busy. Where I became irritated was the fact they knew it was taking 15-30 minutes to produce a coffee and refused to tell the patrons that also had to get out to the parade. I was excited to try bean punks coffee, however, my excitement was squashed from behind the counter from the barista that did not respond to my request of a refund with any sense of customer service but with the attitude that I was an inconvenience. I hate to report that the punk wasnt in the bean but in the barista.

Had jury duty and needed a cup of Joe to get me started. Found this place completely by accident and was rewarded with a perfect breakfast sandwich and a generously large cup of coffee with amazing music, phenomenal atmosphere, and a friendly smile to boot. I wish this place was on my way to work normally as if give them my money daily. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
