Amazing people!..I’m new to collecting pops, I came in with some commons and a couple exclusives that I didn’t want no more and weren’t worth much, they took the commons and let me keep the exclusives, only so I could happily take the one I wanted. It’s about a 50 minute drive from my place but I will definitely be coming back ! Thank you guys so much !

Great little store off the highway that you need to visit. They have a large amount of slab books to choose from and a great back issue collection at that. I found some iron man issues that I didnt have so thats a win win!The owner is fair with pricing and I appreciate that. Will definitely be stopping by on our future trips down in Houston.

This is my local comic book shop! I recently moved back to Conroe and was thrilled to see that Rob was still in business. Been frequenting here a lot lately since I’m getting back into the hobby. The customer service is still amazing and better than ever. Shannon is awesome. She always helps me add comics to my monthly pull list and even took the time to recommend and order a comic book series for my nephew (Bat-Mite). They have a nice organized selection of back issues and a large $1.00 bin as well.

Absolutely amazing selection and amazing staff. They were very welcoming and were extremely helpful with starting my very own magic deck. Will return again and again and again.

Last night we spent 4 hours in this store playing MTG! My son and I travel full time so we dont get to do things like this very often. We greatly appreciate the opportunity.The crowd was friendly and welcoming of outsiders.Pricing on cards is great and the selection is AMAZING!

This place is great. Shannon, Rob amd Austin are wonderful. Their TCG community is so chill and accommodating. If youre new to any card game then definitely make the trip to this store.

One of the largest Funko pop selections I’ve seen in a store. Seems like a chill place to just hang out and enjoy playing card games or reading comics. The comics they have currently on the wall surpasses my local shop by still having hot titles available for purchase. I always hear good things about Cards and Comics Connections, I’m glad to say I do as well.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Rob and Shannon are fantastic. The store is nice, lots of cool stuff including comics, pops, MTG, Pokemon, Sports, YuGiOh, DragonBall Super, and more!

DO NOT GO HERE,One star doesnt do this place ANY justice, the employees love to play favorites, pretty much if you are not seen there on a day to day basis you receive little to NO attention. This was not the first time Ive encountered this issue, Ive let it slide the first couple of times but this time it was enough. Buddy of mine and me were looking at cards LITERALLY IN FRONT OF THE REGISTER and not once and let me repeat that ONCE did we get greeted nor offered help. We stood there for a couple minutes and nothing even the employees walked by us and nothing, but a frequent customer walks in and gets VIP TREATMENT. Ive witnessed that they like to store some valuable stuff for special clients and not even show their full products to customers. How is an establishment like this going to act like this, its absurd. Judging by the other one star reviews we are not the first people to get treated like this, they need to fix their act, take your money to an ACTUAL FRIENDLY ESTABLISHMENT, where you will feel welcomed.

This store is amazing and the owner and store worker are absolutely wonderful. Great enviorment and ambiance. Always have what your looking for from pops, game card to figurines and much more. Extremely knowledgeable, will be coming here alot more often.

From the minute I walked in with my son & boyfriend it was a bad experience. No one greeted us, we were looked up & down the entire time we were there by the employees but also by what I’m guessing were usual customers judging by their loud conversations about how they’re there every Sunday. When my boyfriend finally did ask for help after 20 minutes of browsing & no one offering help, the red headed guy that helped us out seemed bothered to have to help, after he did we continued to browse but I can’t describe how uncomfortable it felt to just be stared down like you’re gonna steal something, not a single kind word or gesture from anyone. Once we were ready to checkout it was more of the same, I was close to the counter looking at some soda cans & this same guy continued to look at me & my son with the ugliest mug on his face. Needless to say after spending over $100 here, I regret even giving them our business. We felt completely disgusted leaving this place, awful group of people, don’t work in customer service if that’s how you’re going treat people. Learn to treat EVERYONE with dignity & respect.

This has been my go to place for comics for years now. Sharon and Rob have always been amazing towards me, Sharon was nice enough to give my son a few of the Transformers cards from the trading game which he loves. Its always a pleasure dropping by there.

Extensive collection of Yu-Gi-Oh cards as well as other cool collectibles. Very nice people inside too, has a very nice and relaxing atmosphere in here.

Most amazing pop selection and the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. Prices are amazing, I’m definitely going to be a regular now!

I went in to buy mt GF a few Harley Quinn comics and walked out with around 7 And he had a Harley Quinn DC comic #13- 7 action figure which made my gift so much better.I was pleasantly surprised at the stock in this store, well worth the extra drive! 😺❤

Been taking my son here for several years on and off as his interests have gone from Pokemon to comics and back to Pokemon. They are always friendly and helpful. They also have the biggest selection of Funko Pops that Ive ever seen!

Seems like a cool place. Went to check out their baseball cards based on Google but turns out they don’t have any. Lots of comics and the most funcos I’ve seen in my life.

I’ve been an avid funko collector for a while now and we’ve been coming in for a few months. I’ve always dealt with Shannon and she’s super sweet, doesn’t talk down to you, and I have always loved the way she does the pricing. However, lately, we’ve been coming in and we’ve been dealing with a few younger guys. You go to the counter and they check the prices before you buy them. When we’ve come in before, they’d be priced one time and that’s it. Now, they price them every time you go to the counter, there’s no set price. They’ve been rude to my husband and I so we go to Traders Village now to buy the harder to get pops.

Great environment and great staff.

I will start off by saying they have a pretty decent selection of product, which is the only reason they have 2 stars instead of 1. However, if you are looking for a specific MTG card then good luck. Their single cards are so organized and none of the employees are knowledgeable on what is in their inventory. All the employees seem to be unable to help and not friendly. I absolutely refuse to support this store anymore because of how they choose to do business.

This was a great comic shop!! The POP selection was one of the very best ones Ive ever seen. The boys sure did enjoy walking around and checking them all out. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about what we were looking for and answered any and all questions that the kids had which was a HUGE plus for me!!

I cant believe I found this treasure trove of pokemon and dragon ball z. The staff is friendly, and helpful.I acquired a rare poster of dragon ball z ( vegeta ). It is AWESOME 👌!!!.Rob was cool and knew what he was talking about. Im definatly coming back. If your a hunter of rare pokemon and dragon ball z .. this is the place to go!

I woke up one morning super eager to spend my money and I’ve heard about this place a lot from so many people. It’s a bit of a drive so I haven’t been there before. I was so excited to get there and buy Pokémon and yugioh cards and I even found a funko pop that I was excited to buy. But when we walked in nobody greeted us we walked up to the counter and nobody asked if we needed help so we walked around hoping someone might ask if we needed some assistance and nothing. We even asked one of the fellas to help us get a funko pop from the top shelf and instead he went on about his business. We stood around for a while just awkwardly waiting for help until we gave up and walked out with nothing. Apparently that’s what it takes to get their attention because as soon as we walk out what looks like the owner comes out saying sorry that guy can’t use the ladder please come back inside but at this point we were so frustrated that it killed the mood of being there and we wanted nothing more than to just leave. It was really heartbreaking because I’ve never been there before and after the 1st experience I don’t wanna go back. I guess it’s back to buying cards from places like Walmart and Target.

Anytime I’m down in the area to visit friends, I stop by Rob’s place. He has a phenomenal selection of comics, and his pressing/cleaning services are second to none! I would highly recommend his shop to anyone interested in comics, cards, funko pops, or anything else “nerd culture” related!

HONEST AND AMAZING STORE!!! Just before Covid - 19 hit, I opened a subscription box at this store. When the pandemic started the store had to close up for a bit and when they reopened, I wasn’t able to come in the store for a while. I went to check and see if my subscription box was still active and it was. They kept up with every book I asked for and to my great delight there was a first print first cover of Thor 5 by Donny Cates. Sold it to me for the original price. It’s in great condition and I’m sending it off to be slabbed. Amazing store. Great owner. They will do right by you.

Ive had a great experience every time Ive gone here. One of the only places around to get hobby boxes/packs of sports cards. Prices for hobby supplies and storage are low in comparison to local retailers.

This is my ONLY comic book store I enjoy going to! No one else has the selection of products like Rob has. The amount of funko pops in that store is insane. He has a bunch of cards for any game you can probably think of and a million different comics and figures. Everyone who works there is so nice and they really try to help you get what you are looking for!

Magic the gathering single cards! This is the place to go! Loved the selection but the staff seemed offended that me and my friend wanted to buy single magic cards. Not helpful at all and very poor attitude

This place is amazing. They have a great Yu-gi-oh card selection, comics, funko pops and more. Rob is a great guy always makes my brother and I feel super welcome. He talks to his customers and is super helpful and is fair with trade ins. I live in Houston and I make the drive to Conroe to visit Rob’s shop. One of if not the best comic/card shop I’ve been to. I will continue to make the drive and take my business to Cards and Comics Connection. I definitely recommend this spot

I have been going here since it opened. The owner is very nice and gives many deals. The Funko Pop section is extensive and he can get anything you like.

The store itself is an experience in itself to walk into. It has that comic book store feel that you could just walk into and get lost in looking through all the cool things they have. However, what has really been the factor that sets this place apart from the rest is the people who work there. Every single time I walk in they are very helpful and friendly. You can really tell to them it is not a job, but a pleasure to talk to customers about whatever it is they came in for. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a spot to find their childhood memories or new hobby. Will definitely be returning often.

Rob is wonderful and knowledgeable love just going to talk to the owner and workers. If MTG is your cup of tea Gregg can answer any question you have and they take trade ins for high value cards. All in all fair and great place. I love this store

The family run comic shop is great! They will try to get you what you want. I was able to score a copy of the last walking dead comic! They have a huge POP collection, as well as tables for game players on tournament nights. Staff is great. Support local businesses!

This is hands down the best gaming/comic store around. Rob has been in business in a difficult sector for decades, and theres a reason for it. He truly cares for his patrons and will go the extra mile to make sure his customers are taken care of. Shannon is the sweetest woman, and has been like a mom to most of us regulars. Her organizational skills make the place run like clockwork and she too goes above and beyond for your services. The employees are friendly and helpful, the shop is clean and well stocked. The prices are some of the best around, rivaling even online pricing. And they have the largest collection of Funko Pops and Magic singles Ive ever seen anywhere. Its truly impressive.When I told them Id started a gaming club at the underprivileged high school I teach at, they went above and beyond to provide supplies, games and support. We always go to their tournaments when we can afford to go, even though were 40min away and pass several other shops on the way. If it werent for Rob, Shannon and the crew, our club wouldnt be half as successful as it is.Ive been a patron of this shop (playing Magic the gathering, D&D) for over 15 years, and Ive never been disappointed. You cant find a better place to game at. Go see Rob and Shannon, youll be pleasantly surprised.
