I just needed some oil oil amd filter and they were super helpful. I didnt know what exactly I need and guy behind counter looked it up online to make sure. Price was better then expected. Super friendly. Will be back. Highly recommended.

Had an oil leak on my sons Honda rebel, left side crankshaft oil seal. I called the dealership, they quoted me between $500-$550 for the repair. I called J&B and spoke to Jon. He gave me a rough estimate of $250. Jon explain to me that it was not that difficult of a job, it only required a couple specialty tools. I ordered those tools off the Internet and completed the job myself. I even called back with a question during the process and he was very happy to help me. These guys are top shelf and profession in ever way! I highly recommend to anyone looking for honest work at a reasonable cost. Keep up the great work guys!

This place is worth MORE than 5 stars! I have never actually been but Jon and Bruce have gone above and beyond to take care of my son and his motorcycle for the past few years. I am so very grateful for all the help and advice they have given him.

If I could rate this place higher, I would. I originally took my ride to Cycle Shack in conroe, I massively regret that for they price gauged me and I had more problems with the bike than when I took it in. J&B Cycle Works on the other hand, they have been nothing but good. Great customer service, more than reasonable price points, and they clearly actually care for bikes and customers more so than that shiny coin ; which isnt often found. So if you want to spend an unnecessary amount of money only to obtain more problems, go to Cycle Shack. However, if you want a trustworthy place to get your ride taken care of, plus great pricing and customer service that treats you right (rather than just a walking wallet) then go to J&B Cycle Works!! I 100% will be sticking with them for now on :) Oh and bonus: They have a Dyno!! Not easy finding one, at least not where I live (New Caney).

This may be one of the strangest mechanic shops Ive ever been too.I say this heartedly, of course, because those who wander to this Motorcycle Mechanical Shop dont expect to enter into a whole new world such as here.You kind of have to enter their atmosphere to truly understands whats going on. Its about fixing your motorcycle, of course, but its also as if time slows down with you, similar to that of entering a country cabin or mid-day Texas cafe bar. General people like to stroll in & out just to talk and have a conversation. Others, if theyre close, like to check on progress of their & other bikes. People here live & breathe motorcycles.BUT whats truly important is that the employees who work here CARE. They inform you of every known & seen problem. They speak clearly of intentions, and predict honestly for any future potential suggestions or changes. And more importantly, they go above and beyond fixing your motorcycle problem, to the point of even catching issues you may have missed had you not gone to these people.In a ways, if you get familiar enough I can see why others get close to these guys. J&B are definitely known for their hard work, dedication, and overall caring quality. They may not be the hustle & bustle you see at a typical repair shop, but it doesnt mean theyre any less busy- in fact, quite the opposite- but it shows they prefer quality in their work, which is what matters the most with your hard-earned motorcycle standing on the line.In simple terms: Dont come to these guys with a major rush (except simple oil change/tires, those are usually same day!). Theyre usually on a 3-week waiting pattern for any diagnostic problems due to popularity. But expect the best when you get there. Patience is a virtue- and with these guys, it literally pays off.Cheers o7

I brought my harley in for routine maintenance before a 3500 mile road trip within a week. When they checked the plugs they discovered the harley plug was mis-threaded with only a couple of threads holding it in. Possible disaster on the road. The threads were destroyed as the previous mechanic didnt want to reveal what he had done. Likely the harley dealer.Within a day, they were able to order a new rethread insert with a stronger alloy that they then integrated into the aluminum cylinder head. The threads were then like new. My harley ran like never before and was so pleased with performance after. I will only trust these guys and plan to bring in for some new upgrades later. These guys know bikes both imports and domestic.

I took my sporty 883 to J&B Cycle Works for idling issues; initially was recommended to them from a different service company in Conroe. I had previously taken my bike to Harley Davidson of the Woodlands and did not get the service that was expected especially considering the price. J&B was up front with me from the start, took the time to look at my bike, gave recommendations, and completely went through the bike.After letting me know exactly what was needed, we moved forward with the repairs. The major issue which was a leaky intake that was not caught at Harley; super disappointing, was fixed, carb rebuilt, and all fluids changed. What a difference! They did such an awesome job with this bike at such a better rate than Harley. It was done 3-4 days earlier than expected. They were super informative, friendly, and down to earth. I will not be taking my bike anywhere else in Houston. If you need service done to your bike, these guys are the ones to call. Thanks again!

Bruce had my bike for exactly 4 weeks and accomplished nothing. Not even a phone call. Very disappointed. Especially when I had to purchase another battery the next day. The bike sat for so long that it damage a cell.

Took my bike Im for some work they had a lot of customers ahead of me so it took a while to get it out the shop but as soon as I got it back I noticed that they put time into working on your ride an make sure that everything works. every other places that I went tryed to over price me a milk me for cash but J&Bs they put real time and work into you ride and they give you a proper price. 10/10 will go again

These guys do great work at a great price. Their quotes are very reasonable and on point to the cent. I needed some electrical work done on my bike most places would of just told me to replace all my switches, wiring harness and racked up a bunch of unnecessary charges on me, they actually dug in found what was causing the issue and fixed it rather than replacing everything. Turn around on getting repairs is done in a timely manner. I recommend these guys for their prices, quality of work, and speedy turn around.

I have found Jon and Bruce to be very open and above-board. Their commitment to excellence is there. Jon took the time to show me the various wire splices and such that he did when installing some lights. It looked like it could have been done at the factory, which is the highest praise I can give. Like myself, Bruce served in the USMC, so we had an instant rapport. However, in seeing his, and Jons, interaction with customers, they make it seem like each one is the reason for opening the door today! Great guys, great work, great customer service!

I have had some bad experiences with motorcycle repair shops in the past, but needed new fork seals for my Vstar 1100. Called Cycle Shack North and was quoted an outrageous price. Found J&B via Google and gave them a call.The staff was knowledgeable and beat Cycle shack by a long shot. Dropped off my Vstar and it was ready in a couple of days.
