Brought in a very heavily played Les Paul, frets and fret board were in very poor condition. Asked for a fret job to hopefully get a few more years out of the guitar. Picked up a guitar that was in virtually new condition. I wish I had taken before and after pics but the fret board / fret work was nothing short of amazing. Owner communicates very effectively and presents himself very professionally. Highly recommended.

Just got my hands on a 2001 Strat that really needed some work. Took it to Mike Nedd in Conroe, TX and now it plays better than new. Seriously, any time you get a new guitar (meaning new to you) please take it to someone like Mike who can give it a first class setup, fret dressing, etc. You wont be sorry.

I bought a 1977 Martin HD 28 a few days ago and it needed some work so I took it to Nedds Guitar in Conroe.Mike did a great job getting it setup which included a new nut amongst other work. If you need any luthier work done on any instrument I HIGHLY recommend Nedds Guitar, Mike will do you right!

A lot of music store owners do a bit of guitar work and offer basic services, but very, very few have the skill needed and technical understanding to build a guitar from scratch, Im not talking about a kit guitar, but the wood carving, fret work, inlay work, pro finish, etc... Mike Nedd is the real deal! When you visit the front of his shop, you might just get a peek into the back where youll see what youd expect from a clean, modern wood working shop and the quality of his guitars speaks for itself. Just ask him to show you one of his works and about his background. Ive not yet ordered one of his custom guitars, but Mike also does the typical repairs and upgrades that youd expect from a lutheir, I had him do some work for me and Im so happy with his attention to detail and transparency on things that hes the only person I will use... As with any highly sought out professional you might have to wait a bit on turn around time, but Mike was up front with me about that as well. Highest recommendation.

Great guy who does a spectacular job!

Just moved to Conroe and brought my Martin acoustic in for a setup. First, the in-shop experience was outstanding--Mike couldnt have been more friendly or informative. Second, he is far from one to upsell--he is truly one to put his customers first. Finally, wow, what a great setup! It was done next business day, and the action and intonation were perfect! It feels better in my hands than it ever has since day one. Will definitely be going back! So great to find such expertise and such a class act.

I snapped the neck on my Les Paul and was sure it was toast but before I went and dropped an ungodly amount on a brand new one I took it in to see if Mike could salvage it. To my astonishment he was able to put it back together. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is top notch. I highly recommend.

Custom-made guitar store near The Woodlands Houston Texas. Near the railroad tracks. Lots of very nice high-end guitars. They can make it Anyway You Want It. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Really seem that they want to help you and not just sell you something like a big box store. It was my first time here and I will be back again. I enjoy going to the area and looking at all the guitars. I highly recommend this to anyone.

Wonderful experience, Nedd recently replaced frets on an old guitar of mine that was unplayable and had other issues. He sorted everything out, not an easy chore for a guitar over 50 years old. Thanks Nedd for making it playable again at an very affordable price. It sounds fabulous in recordings. Great Job!

The Mikes are the BEST. I took my 2007 Gibson Explorer in to fix a pickup installation I botched on a pair of Fishman Fluence Moderns. The dudes did an awesome job and saved me from my own ineptitude. They also fixed a ground problem the Explorer had, and performed a much needed intonation on the guitar as well. All in all, Nedd Guitars is the place to go for all my guitar tech needs. Thanks guys!
