I have been seeing Dr. Singleton for years and have had both my medical needs and visual acuity treated with patience and dignity. One review commented about lack of mask wearing and social distancing. Is the reviewer not vaccinated and was it even necessary for him to be in the office at all, unless his wife needed physical assistance, which is the recommendation at most physicians’ offices at the current time? I encourage everyone not vaccinated to wear their masks.

Ive been wearing glasses for 20 years and Ive never ever had a more thorough exam. Very professional. I am more confident that I have the right script than ever. Very thankful for finding this place.

You closed due to COVID-19, yet you are failing to exercise proper caution now that you have reopened. I took my wife there for a much needed eye appointment. While the staff was professional and she was well taken care of, I was appalled at the lack of precautions.Staff members wore their masks improperly. They also failed to address mask restrictions despite it clearly being marked on the front door. Instead, I witnessed several people coming into the establishment without masks, including a FedEx driver.One gentleman walked in without a mask and proceeded to sit RIGHT NEXT TO ME! I politely asked, if he wasn’t going to wear a mask, that he sit elsewhere.The chairs in the waiting area were not properly separated and there was no hand-sanitizer available despite it being an area where physical contact was necessary.DO BETTER! I do not want to have to live like this much longer, and the more you refuse to enforce the proper safety protocols, the longer we will need to.

It’s very frustrating to consistently have to wait 45+ minutes after appointment time to be seen. I understand getting behind schedule but no one in this office operates with any sense of urgency or respect for others’ time. It’s also very disconcerting to hear staff in a medical facility spouting their anti-science opinions on masking and disease spread.

Dr. Singleton and his staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. When I developed an eye issue, I was promptly given an appointment. Dr. Singleton was very thorough, took photos of my eye, and explained his diagnosis. Thankfully with his expert care and medication, my vision is now clear. I later returned for a complete eye exam. Once again receiving excellent care by Dr. Singleton, and his wonderful staff.

Very friendly and nice staff. Took the time to explain everything they were going to do. Made an appointment first part of December for a glaucoma test in January. Asked at the time how much the test would be, was told $150.00. Ended up costing over $250.00. Nothing like raising the price at the last minute.

I highly recommend!Friendly and experienced Doctor and Staff!Wonderful experience. Extremely thorough. I have eye doctor friends in other states. Very impressed. Love my new glasses! They can even tell other unforseen health problems from some of the testing they do!

Great staff, very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The exam was very thorough and the doctor is easy to talk to and makes it easy for you to understand what’s actually going on with your eyes! Would highly recommend Singleton Eye Clinic!

Dr. Sam is a gifted eye care expert. I love the experience and fact that he improved my vision and knows how to fit comfortable/attractive glasses. Wait time was short as well. The service was/is one my very best eye care experience--Im 75 now and Ive seen bad service so its great to recommend Dr. Sam and Singleton Eye Clinic because of the great care that I received and the great outcome with my eyes.

The reception staff was great with appointment flexibility and friendly on our arrival. There was zero wait time and all testing prior to the exam was quick and professionally done. During the exam the doctor was very thorough and described all of the results in detail. We could not be happier with our experience and will continue to be clients. Our entire family has moved all their appointments to this practice.

Have been a patient of Dr. Singleton since 2003/4 and have followed him from whatever practice he has been associated with since. We have vacation home in Murrells Inlet and always arrange our annual eye exam when there. The staff is professional and helpful. It says a lot when the staff follow the employer and we are always welcomed warmly by Gwen. Dr. Singleton and his staff are thorough and very caring. I would recommend him to anyone who wanted an excellent eye doctor.

The lady doing the insurance was super rude and angry at life, she couldn’t get our insurance to go through and somehow it was my fault, the Dr. and lady we seen before him were great though, just frustrated that it took 2 hours!!! And not one person in their apologized to us for how we were treated...I understand having a bad day, or getting annoyed with insurance but taking it out on the customer is not ok...I will drive hours next time to a place that takes our insurance instead of ever going back.

Singleton Eye Clinic is a great place. Dr. Singleton does a wonderful job and is truly compassionate about his work and his patients. Everyone there treats you very kindly.

My husband and I both see Dr. Singleton for our eye care. We appreciate the amount of time he spends and thoroughness of each visit. Its obvious that he cares and knows what hes doing.

Could not get any answers on the phone. I would not waste your time. I was calling and asking about prices and the lady goes I guess you Dont have any insurance. I guess she assumed that just because I was asking prices. Totally rude!

Was told 5 to 10 days for my glasses to come in, going on 3 weeks and still havent arrived. No one ever calls to update me or even let me know that the frames will be delayed arriving. At first called mutiple times on different days, I was told I would receive a call back, they would look into it never did. Now they just keep saying oh this day at the latest... but then its actually still another few days. If I could just get a copy of my prescription and walk away I would. Never again will I be going there. Not to mention when I did have an eye exam I waited over a hour and half and I only saw one other person in the waiting room.

Dr. Singleton is great. However front office staff has terrible customer service and hateful attitude. It is so aggravating that I am thinking about leaving the practice.
