First time (around 7/2021):I bought a new water pump, and coolant. When I put it on my truck, it leaked. So I also lost the jug of antifreeze I bought. I went back the same day to exchange the pump for an identical one, no biggie..except I forgot to take the studs for the fan out first. I took the pump in and told the man behind the counter I needed to exchange it because it leaked, but needed the studs out first. He told me to take it back to where I was working and take them out. Then bring it back for an exchange. I stood there in shock for a minute, then asked if he had something I could borrow to remove them since I lived in the neighboring county. Then he pulled out pliers and removed them. He exchanged it for another, but wouldnt replace the coolant I lost on the defective part which I feel is poor customer service. Especially after the earlier remark over removing 4 studs.AutoZone, next time maybe I should try somewhere else because that was disappointing.*****After I left this review the store manager reached out and apologized. He also replaced the coolant.****A few months later, different car...10/2021 Another one of our vehicles water pump went out. It had a lifetime warranty from AutoZone. We took it off the car, exchanged it with no issues. Installed the new one, and it broke during the test drive. Unbelievable! They dont have another one in stock, so atm Im waiting for one to arrive. Maybe try somewhere else for water pumps, unless you just enjoy taking your car apart, losing coolant, and reassembling the car multiple times. Although so far they have honored the warranties. Id prefer to only do it ONCE!!!

Went in to ask they could check my brake light and help me find a replacement bulb if needed. They refused to help me. But had no problem getting under the hood of the next customers truck. I took my money elsewhere.

Depends on who you talk to when you walk in. Sometimes you can get lucky and get great service.

Auto zone used to go outside and look atyour car and help you best they could.now, I dont know what happened, and I willnot lay blame on auto zone, but now theemployees cant get in your car. I thoughtIt was a good idea to get hands on infoand help, first hand, from the employeesat auto zone. if it is at all possible, pleaseget back to the great service and hands onattitude you had before. I hope you canget through this and provide your uniqueservice again.

They keep you for long time you ask for a part most of the time they never have it there so you order it they give you a time to pick it up and its there when you go back some are very friendly and helpful. But other people there are not at all there are kinda rude and no help at all. Good luck thats the Cookeville try the Algood you may have better luck there 👍😉

Right after we left work to head home tonight, a battery warning came on our car. We made it to Auto Zone and then it completely died. I went in and they were fairly busy for 7pm. I told the guy my problem and he said another man was checking someones battery. He asked me to wait, and as soon as they were done, he would check mine. Once they were able to check mine, it showed that the battery was completely dead. We have a car that has the battery in the floorboard behind the passenger seat. The first guy said he couldnt replace it. But then when we went back inside, the second guy, Jody, said he thought he could take care of it. He went above and beyond working in the dark with light of flashlights and getting rained on. I dont know what we would have done if he hadnt had put the battery in. Thank you so much Jody!

I was headed on a trip with the grand babies. Stoped in and the manager came out and checked my fluids, as I couldnt get an apt at a garage. Very professional and kind.

Went to get new headlight bulbs, the manager Thomas Tucker helped me out. We went to looking at the prices and realized there was a newer type of led that would fit in an iridescent spot. We talked about the benefits and everything and realized there is a 5 year warranty on them. In the long run now I will have saved quite a bit on my headlights and that is all thanks to the manager taking his time to really help me out. Give that man a raise.

Great customer service

I got what I needed and it worked very well. However, it always seems like theres so many people working, but only one or two people actually doing anything. So I waited in a line and was not very happy to see employees standing around just talking about non-work related things when there were multiple of us just waiting on assistance.

Just needed wiper blades. They came out to personally size them!

My car battery died and after a jump I came here to get a new battery. Unfortunately, they didnt have a battery that fit my car, but the staff gladly gave me a jump and directed me to other places that may have a battery.Im sad I couldnt give them my business, but they were still really helpful.

One register open with 9 people in line holding heavy things tonight. Most of the time the associates are really, really helpful and friendly. They are really great people. The product selection is probably the best out of all the other auto parts stores.

The customer service at this store is top notch. Jere, the store manage, will take care of you every time. I find most of the staff to be very helpful. They are always slammed but they do not rush customers; they make sure everyone has a full opportunity to be helped.

Older guy helped me put my headlights in and find the right ones and gave me a discount for having to wait so long I had a great experience tonight! And I love the headlights they are so much brighter and better!

The staff is competent overall and very helpful, prices are a touch high but that doesnt stop me from shopping here.

If gene didnt still work there theres no way I would wait that long in line to get parts. Nine employees and 25 minutes in line is ridiculous.

Customer services is pretty slow. The store has a variety of supplies but I recommend doing plenty of research on what exactly you need from here before you arrive. The employees are happy to help, but unfortunately I felt that a lot of information was left out when I was sold a part.

Ive never had a bad experience here. Staff is friendly and very helpful. They treat me as a customer, not like some dumb lady who probably doesnt know anything about cars(like the other places in town).
