Top notch LCS in Cookville...nice assortment of current titles, including the big publishers and the up and coming indy publishers! Picked up Strange Adventures & Immortal Hulk. Wish I lived closer to this comic shop, nice place...look for it!

If I could give this place no stars I would. No greeting at all just a you’re bothering me look. Zero organization. I asked if he had any silver age books and the owners response was they are scattered about. I looked around and found some books that I wanted and some older magazines with price stickers on them. He went to ring them up and said oh I haven’t priced these yet they are $9 bucks each instead of the $2 that was on the price sticker. He has toys overpriced. You can still find most of them in Walmart. Just an all around horrible experience from all the other book stores I’ve been in. I travel all the time and go to as many stores as I can and I pass this place weekly but I promise I will never be back.

Mike, the owner, is always friendly and knowledgeable. My husband loves this little comic shop, hes been going for years. Great for nerd gear and family friendly!

Im a regular customer at Mnt Top Comics I have been coming here for at least 5 years. Mike is a great guy and very helpful. Wide selection of back stock as well as figures, pops, and trade paper backs. Definitely a favorite shop of mine.

Ran by a super nice fella and has all the comics and toys one could ever need. Go there and give this man your money for goods and services, you wont regret it.

This store has a great selection of comics and graphic novels! The owner does a great job of getting variant covers in stock and is always willing to help you find something. I make it a point to visit weekly and I never leave disappointed.

Stopped by to buy comic books, and visit this establishment for the first time. I was carrying a drink from a local restaurant. When I walked in, with the drink, I asked the man who appeared to be in charge, May I have this drink in your store? His reply, Dont spill it on anything. He was not happy that I had a cup in his store. I promptly took the drink outside and put it on the sidewalk. (First impression was not very positive, but I was a visitor in this mans store, therefore I did not want to go against business policy.) After I returned back in the store, where I had originally planned on purchasing comic books, I was never greeted in anyway, form or fashion. Never got a Can I help you?. There was one other person in the store at the time. I had no plans on destroying the mans inventory or store. I am a responsible adult, and showed respect by asking if I could have my drink in his establishment, but his tone was like I was a pre-teen and looked questionable. After reading reviews last night I was excited to start possibly doing business with this owner/store. As you can probably ascertain by the previous comments, I will not be spending my hard earned money in a store than cant even ask a customer May I help you?, or What can I do for you today?, or Welcome to our store, look around and if you need anything, please let me know. Guess I didnt fit his description or expectations of a respectable customer.

Awsome store, Mike is extremely hospitable, very knowledgeable and an all around great guy. He has an amazing selection of comics, action figures and, other great collectables. This is hands down, one of the best comics and collectable shops in Cumberland county and my personal favorite! If you are in the middle Tennessee area you need to check out Mountain top comics!

This shop is simply the best comic shop in Cookeville, as well as my personal favorite comic shop i have gotten to go too. There is a great selection of comics, action figures, and other neat collectibles. The only area that isnt fantastic is the trading card selection. He doesnt carry many, as his focus is more on the comics. That is something i like about it, it seems like many comic shops ive been to have catered more to gaming and less on comics.The owner is also very knowledgeable and personable. He does special orders too. If you like comics and happen to be in cookeville, it would be a crime to not check this place out.
