Who doesnt like ice cream? Found this place after supper, with a super awesome waitress who took care of me. Sine never having been to this place, she was very happy to help me decide, and helped me come up with something that wasnt even on their menu. Portion size, yea they are big and I loved it! Definitely a nice ice cream shop!

Great ice cream and cookies.. The two girls that were working were Lexie and Hailey. Super nice, and helpful young ladies to me, my wife, and my 3 kids. Not sure why some people have left bad reviews on this place. Great management!!

Brough my two little girls in for some ice cream and the two girls working were some of the nicest people! Kelsey and Maggie took the time to make sure everything we had was correct and exactly what we needed. Eve though we were quite complicated they were still very helpful and appreciated my two girls. we love this place and are totally coming back!

My friend and I came in for a little break and girl time to catch up and it was one of the best places! they always have the best options of mixins and ice cream. we love their dipped cones (even though we didnt get any this time)! the people serving us are always so friendly and are willing to help.

Best ice cream store in Cookeville!! Clean atmosphere, unlimited toppings, and a variety of ice cream flavors. The girl that served me was named Lexie if I’m not mistaking, and she was super sweet and helpful to everyone that walked in the store. Great employee! Absolutely recommend this place.

Now listen.. I have been going to marble slab for years. I went when Sara and Allen were running the place and let me say they were way better then the owner now. Through the last couple years as a loyal customer the employees see me as a friendly face.. I will never be going back to that place ever again after I seen a roach on the slab and then some in the lobby. and I hope you don’t either. Unbelievable that cookeville has allowed a place like that to stay in business... so disappointing.

Poor service, the people working there are kids and dont know what the hell they are doing. Me and my girlfriend went in and it took them way too long to serve us. I also found a red hair in my ice cream and we just walked out. I will not be returning to this place ever again. The workers are so rude and also the place is just a dump. I wish i could give them 0 stars cause this place should be shut down.

Went in to get ice cream for my two kiddos. Employee serving was acting irritated upon our arrival. I asked for a kids scoop and upon seeing how large it was asked for an extra cup so i could just split up the one serving. She slammed the cup down to get another one and then apparently misunderstood what I was asking because she started to scoop new ice cream into the second cup. I started to explain and she slammed the scoop down. At this point, I told her that apparently we offended her by the way she was acting so we’d just take our business elsewhere. Went to the Lazy Cow Creamery and kept our dollar local while served with a smile😊

They do an awful job with decorating cookie cakes, it seems like no one there can even do basic writing. Also when i went in to pick the cake up the workers are just so rude. The place is a mess these reviews dont lie.

Love Marble Slab! My current favorite is banana pudding and rum lightly mixed with walnuts. Yum. They always have nice people working there.

We love the ice cream and don’t mind the price. Our service however, was the worst I’ve had anywhere in a while. My receipt said the girls name was “Maggie”. She literally wouldn’t speak to us, made it seem like us being there was an inconvenience and when we asked for a sample she stormed off to the back to get it. I said thank you when she handed my card back and didn’t say a word. I’ve never written a review because I can usually tell people are having a bad day and have been in the service business myself—but she was straight up rude and makes this establishment look terrible.

The only place in town I would recommend getting ice cream. A little pricey, but so worth it. Everyone is always as sweet as their ice cream is.

Asked for a waffle cup, were out of waffle cups.Asked for pineapple Add-On, we dont have pineapple anymore.Asked for toasted coconut, I got regular shredded coconut.First time here, and not impressed.Either the website needs to be updated with what they dont have, what theyre using instead of, or something.

This place is just straight up racist. They always treat me and my family terribly and make our experience disgraceful... They areover priced anyways and the management doesnt know what they are doing now we used to go multiple times a week but here recently things have changes and it isnt the same. I am happy there are 2 Mexican ice cream shops that have opened up... I also read some reviews about the bugs and i never noticed them until i actually looked for them. i dont know if they are roaches or beetles but i defiently saw some small bugs crawling around.

They were out of lots of cookies, coke machine was out of order, and one of the cookies we got was under cooked. The ice cream was good.

They never have what i want. I went in to get a milkshake and when i got to finally taste it when i got in my car it tasted and smelt awful. It tasted like spoiled milk. I went in to confront them and the man working told me the fridge stopped working and that the milk was left in there over night and he didnt notice the smell. I dont blame him but i blame the owner for lack of getting the fridge fixed. The man gave me my money back but i will not be going back anymore. Apparently the owner doesnt do a good job with anything seeing as the boy also told me hes never there and hes firing all the people that had currently worked there for no reason. I can also confirm that there is roaches, and also they 2 people that were working showed me a huge hole in the cabinet that looks like a rat hole. The health department needs to get in this place.

Too expensive for me. Three scoops if ice-cream with one waffle cone 9.50! What? No thank you. I couldve gotten three half gallons for that price at Kroger. Never going there again!

This place last time I went was nicebut this last timeit was having a lot of plumbing problems and half the freezers were out so it wasnt staff but an owner who did not keep up maintence.

I didnt have a very good experience, I ordered an ice cream cake on Friday evening around 4ish, spoke with a young man Saturday twice before noon concerning the cake and pick up time, arrived at 4 30 to pick up the cake only to find out it wasnt ready. So I left with no ice cream cake 🙁
