I’m so impressed by this place, that I’m using my wife’s account to give a review. I brought my ranger boat trailer in for four new tires, because I decided to make a run up to Rainy Lake for a little fishing. Of course, I decided to look at the tires 48 hours before leaving. With that being said, I called at 8am and made an appointment for 9:30. I left my house at 9:10 and was backing my trailer in my driveway with 4 new tires at 10am. I can’t say enough about the well oiled machine I watched do the work! Management should be very thankful to have such a great group working in back… Thanks again boys!!!! TBaer

Outstanding customer service. I rarely do reviews, and even more rarely a positive one. This shop is exceptional. I made the appointment online. They got me in and out quickly, no hassles. The young men working there are all polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. Shop is very clean. I don’t buy tires often but both times I’ve been there I’ve been very satisfied. If you need tires, go there.

I have a 32 Stock trailer that needed new tires. They had the best price for the tire I needed. Because of the size of the trailer and challenges of getting it in the parking lot I was certain I would have to go else where. They were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make it happen. Great price and even better service!

Very reasonable prices on tires and fast service. Was absolutely shocked when I brought my tractor tire in for repair. Have had a hard time even finding a place that could do it. Not only had it done when promised, they didnt even charge me. Just said Come back again in the future. Indeed I will and thanks again!

Fast service, friendly, helpful staff, and well priced tires. They did have a previous manager years ago that likely was fired which is great because they gained my business back! I’ve bought over a dozen sets of tires here In the last 10 years and won’t go anywhere else.

My experience was 5 stars for sure. Tires plus sent me on a run around wait 2 days then drop the truck off then they dont have the tires. I called these guys at 2pm they got me in 30 minutes later I was riding away on new tires. 150 cheaper too.

Very thankful for the staff at Discount Tires. We found a screw in one of our tires on the way to run a bunch of errands including taking our dog to the vet. We were in a bit of a panic and gave them a call. The person on the phone energetically told us to bring our vehicle on by and theyd see what they could do. They took care of it right away, and even allowed us to bring our dog inside to wait. They were super friendly and quick. They were even able to fix it for free because of the location of the screw! They saved the day and will be going back for any tire needs!

These guys have been nothing but kind & helpful & I absolutely appreciate the service. Its intimidating going to places like this as a woman, but everyone there has been respectful & treats me well & doesnt talk down to me. Thank you!!

I had never patronized Discount Tire before today, but Ill definitely be getting my next set of tires there!I picked up a piece of metal somewhere, and my left rear tire was going flat very quickly. Before I attempted to put the spare on by myself, I called to see if Discount Tire could fix it right away. They could, and they did!!!I spent less than an hour total driving there, waiting for the tire to be fixed, and driving home. It would have taken me much longer than that- and a ton of blood, sweat, and tears-to just change it out for the spare on my own.THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Had a low tire, they found glass and repaired at no cost. Out in15 minutes. Class act.

I brought in two tires on rims to transfer onto the two front rims on my car. I was told it would be $80, and had to pay upfront.One hour later, they told me they couldnt use the tires I brought in and replaced the two front tires with new ones. They said they could not get ahold of me, even though they had my phone number, and I was standing right outside the shop the whole time.Now they want an additional $80 to pay for the new tires they took it upon themselves to put on without consent.I am contacting Corporate Offices to file a complaint. I am not going to pay for tires that I did not agree to have put on. They could have told me right away that the tires were no good and stopped right there.I do not believe they tried to call me, or even bothered to look for me outside. I had multiple workers pass me outside, yet they say they couldnt get a hold of me? No, I dont think so.I would not recommend this shop knowing they lie to your face and will rip you off without a second thought.Edit: I talked to Customer Service and explained what happened. They contacted the manager at this store, he apologized and said they would cover the cost of the new front tires they put on without consent.I will change this to a 3 star review because while I appreciate them taking responsibility, they should have known better in the first place--never do a job or replace anything without consent of the customer.Looking at the other reviews, it seems this shop is known to make excuses not to put on tires you bring in yourself, and will try to get you to buy their tires instead.I advise being cautious about this particular shop, only going there if you have no other option.

Great place to shop for tires,the tires that I ordered online werent in when my Appointment date came around. They did everything they could to get me into some new tires for the same price... Very impressed with Mitch, he was very helpful.

Fantastic service! This location has risen to the challenge of maintaining service in the covid era. I would go as far as to say that they have drastically improved the service that I received. Its far more streamlined to say the least.As recommended, I purchased my tires online ahead of time and had a 10:15am appointment lined up. After entering the store, I was directed to pull my car into the first bay. Once they did a quick check of things, they had multiple techs working on my car right away. I was out and on my way home by 10:35am. I have never in my life had tires changed that quick. Well done!

They have me a military discount on a mid grade tire (10% off). I dont think theres much profit in tires these days, so 10% off was a steal. They were efficient, put my spare back where it belonged, and texted me when they were done. This place has always been good to my family. They have patched my wifes tire for free in the past. I was there 5 minutes ago and just wanted to give a shoutout to Chris. I had some stripped chrome lugs and they were busy, but he has me pulled up behindgbehind another car and and he goes out (in the rain!) and had it swapped out in 5 minutes. I have gotten used to good service at this shop but that was above and beyond. Much respect.

A window is placed so you can see your car--extra reassurance. Maybe it is just the way you are treated like a friend, but it brings you back in time and time again. I came in, low on cash and the wonderful people at discount tire checked my tire, filled it up, and patched it for me, quickly and efficiently. I didnt even spend a dime! Absolutely the best and most reliable service. Check around and you will see they also have the best prices. Hands down the most affordable and desirable. I am going here for all my tire needs. Couldnt get into Costco for the Michelin tire deal. Went over to discount tires and Mitch got me tires and a great deal! He was quick, understanding, excellent customer service, and all the other guys were great as well. Definitely will recommend them and return for tires anytime.

These guys were great. Shock was rubbing on daughters car along with having bead leaks. They cleaned them up along with putting a new tps in that had broken off upon filling with air. Perfect experience thats why all 6 of our vehicles use them.

Was able to get my tire replaced within a few hours. While driving I got a nail in the side wall of my tire and knew I had to get it replaced AS SOON AS POSSIBLE because of a long road trip. I do not live locally so I was happy I could get in and out quickly.The pricing of tires seemed competitive to other stores nearby and the service was very friendly.

So not impressed. They will sell you tires give you top notch service on those tires. So much so that others have to wait until you get your tiires. Simple flats will take hours to fix. Makes you want to buy a new set of tires to get out of the store quicker.

I havent ever used Discount Tire before today. Found a great price on a major brand 80k tire that was going for 30% more $ everywhere else. Ordered tires on their site last night then had my wife go in to get them installed today at the CR location. She said that the service was excellent and the staff was very nice. Great price on the tires we bought and they even sent us home with one tire that had a lot of life left as a spare rather than charging us a disposal fee. I appreciate the extra thought there. I have had really bad experiences with other tire chains trying to tack a bunch of unnecessary stuff and even maintenance stuff that I know was not due. That was not the case here. Overall good experience and I will for sure go back.

I have recently visited this particular Discount Tire location 3 times in the past year. After my most recent visit I am convinced that this location has the best customer service I have been offered by any local business within the Northwest Suburbs! The staff is very well trained (they know their stuff), treat the customers well (in a way that they appreciate their business) and they work with a sense of urgency (get things done right and quickly). Even when the location is very busy the staff greets all of the customers and lets them know that they will serve you first in / first out. All 3 of my recent visits have been without an appointment and they have finished my tire service in a timely manner. I definitely want to point out a particular employee Andy which even called me near closing to ask if Id like my vehicle parked in a certain location so that its under the light (in case I couldnt get there to pick it up before close). If Andy is available, Id recommend asking for him and you will have the best of experiences doing business.

As always, super friendly people and a above average willingness to help with whatever is asked. Ive seen them deal with alot of rude and unreasonable people with kindness throughout, so rare in the auto tire/repair world.

I have had bad experiences at Discount Tire in the past. However, today 5/3/19 I experienced first rate customer service. Brought the car in to get tire pressure checked and the tech mentioned one tire was dangerously low and he recommended having it repaired. When I went in to consult about it I mentioned there was a bulge on another tire, caused by a pot hole. Long story short it was suggested that tire be replaced as well. I was not happy with the diagnosis especially when they only have roughly 30,000 miles on them. That being said I left unhappy getting no work done. About a half hour later I received a call from Mitch the gentleman I originally talked to 30 minutes prior. Mitch went well out of his way to rectify the situation and to make sure no customer leaves unhappy. Great job Mitch. Discount tire, if you haven’t already taken notice to Mitch please do ASAP, as his actions taken today are part of the reasons I continue to do business with Discount Tire. Thank you again Mitch.
