Wont be coming back, very mean and unwelcoming. The store was empty and when I entered she quickly locked me inside the store. Felt so uncomfortable, I dont think she would have done that if I was older. Would buy from the antique mall thats in the same plaza, they are super nice and welcoming.

I love visiting this shop when Im in town! The owner keeps a large selection of beautiful antiques from several different dealers and there is always a new treasure to be discovered! I love it!

She’s COVID paranoid. No one is in her shop because she locks the doors and even vaccinated you have to wear a sheep mask . Place is dark and unwelcoming

Unfortunately I’m another young person who had a negative experience here despite new ownership, albeit I’m in my early 30s. I am visiting the area and purchased from this store before with no issue, in fact I had a pleasant experience. I am a serious antique buyer, among my interests are antique books. My partner and I tried to buy a book just now that was unfortunately unpriced. The (owner?) barely tried to contact the vendor for a price and mocked my partner (literally one of the most patronizing laughs came out of her mouth) for asking if the 10 written in the front of the book was the correct price — not outlandish considering that’s a common place prices of books are listed. She quickly scanned eBay to say it was listed on there as 225 and would therefore feel uncomfortable pricing it, sure we said and left because of her unfriendly behavior (which included not even bothering to say hello when we entered or goodbye as we left despite seemingly staring us down). We checked eBay and that was the price of a *signed* copy not to mention the other books next to it were listed as $25 & $75. Had the owner treated us with basic respect and an ounce of friendliness given we were ready and willing customers she would have gotten a sale from us and we would have returned again in the future.

So much awesomeness packed into a small antique store. They have so many different collectibles for any type of collector. Friendly staff. They were very willing to help out and make sure we got what we needed. A definite little gem for the antique connoisseur.

I really miss frequenting this wonderful store. Cannot wait until the world is back to normal. Please reopen!

Fine Lion is a beautiful antique store. It has real antiques! Every time I go I see so many things I want. Its a fun place to browse or shop with a purpose. Love this place.

Amazing store! Loved it my first visit and purchased some items.

There were quite a few curiosities here and there, and a decent range of items. It was a bit cramped, but they made due with the space of their unit. The reason why Im reviewing so poorly is due to the fact that there seems to be a prejudice of younger folk in at least one of the people employed there. I didnt find anything that I wanted to spend money on when visiting, so I was on my way out, when the woman at the counter thought she heard some sort of popping noise, stopped helping the customer she was with, and quite plainly stated wheres that boy? I heard a pop. Now, Im a young guy, but at 22 and supporting myself, Im certainly not someone to be called boy. She came near me and inspected the surrounding merchandise, and upon seeing no damage, she gave me a quick look and walked away. Needless to say, I wont be returning here to spend money where Im not welcome.

I love the owners of this store they are unique, witty and friendly. They have even invited us to their home when necessary since we bought a large bedroom set that had some misc parts in her garage. She is wonderfully witty, clever and stylish. Has offered to buy back pieces we no longer needed. World traveled and top notch class. I have gotten some wonderful unique items there. One of the best jewelry collections in all of Broward. And as for the person who wrote a review about her purse being an issue. Purses / backpacks/ laptops etc are often an issue because they are not only protecting the vendors items they dont own but with such delicate rare old pieces it becomes quite hazardous when divas are dragging around their Michael Kors arm luggage around 150 year old irreplaceable limoges or 200 year old Baccarat. It is quite literally some of the worlds finest art on display....show some respect....and the customer references the antique shop next door....they go even one step further....they have lockers because they dont want people stealing or destroying from the beautiful hard work in display presentation the vendors have created. I am a shopper, a seller, a conniseur and a lover of fine things. In fact I ask for my purse to be held or I leave it in car and just bring cash/card and I.D.Antique stores are closing at an alarming rate....I cant imagine a world without them....they are the last best hope to indulge in the art of history in a first hand manner.
