If you have an RV that needs repair, this is THE place to go! In all honesty, I have not gone to any other repair place because these guys were the first to have an appointment. Bought a 98 Majestic 27 foot Class C. Needed both exhaust manifolds replaced. They let me stay in my camper each day night and charged a lot less than I expected. I had a tailpipe welded on and they got me in very fast. Highly recommend!
Lonnie and Oily at LTM Truck and RV Repair are top notch! Their honest and fair, and they provided an excellent service for me on my Allegro Bus. I was on the road traveling up to Oregon when one of my rear air bags blew out. The folks at LTM were able to assess my needs one day and have the parts delivered and installed the next day. I was back on the road and headed to my vacation! The bill and pricing was absolutely fair and I would trust this shop with anything. Im totally impressed with these guys! Thanks for everything Lonnie and Oily, Ill be back if ever I need your help again!
I was incredibly fortunate to be in proximity to LTM when I started experiencing a scary noise from the engine in my diesel motorhome. Mike was super friendly, was able to diagnose the issue quickly, and the repair was completed within 2 days including the sourcing of parts. Id absolutely do business with LTM again. Thought for sure this was going to require an adjustment in my itinerary (work on RVs can be a challenge to coordinate for full-timers), but it didnt. I am sure luck was on my side but Ill give these folks all the credit. Thank you!
The mechanic, James, was fantastic. Really knew his stuff. The tow truck driver, Mike, was terrific. He worked for about three hours to get our class A motorhome hooked up. Both James and Mike were friendly, helpful guys. Lonnie on the other hand (I dont know if hes the owner the manager), overcharged us on the tow. What should have been about $1500 (based on the their rate of $350/hr.) became $4000 because he knew that another place in town, Mast Bros. had quoted us $5400. When we asked him about it, all he said was I beat Mast, didnt I? Hes a crook and a shyster. We will never go back and well never recommend them.
I had a situation with this hitch I had bought for a previous truck of mine, and it was kinda a custom fit for that year make and model of truck. I was wanting to get it custom fabricated onto a second vehicle, and they made that happen. They delivered as promised on the quality of the work and on that I dont have a single complaint. They had to custom mount some brackets onto my truck (I approved all the work) on he underside, as well as modify part of hitch I was having installed. I also added a brake box to be installed. My truck was there until the end of the second day, and my bill was about $1100. About $500 above the quoted $600 for JUST the hitch. So thats $500 for a low end brake box, installed. Not exactly what I was expecting, but I needed it and its in there and the work is solid. But I looked up the brake box itself online, found it for $60-$85 on average for what they charged me like $115 if I recall. Maybe I paid for shipping or shopping/delivery or something. Thats only a 40-60 dollar difference. They fit me in fast which is what I asked for. Just not sure if I got hosed on a $400 install of a $100 brake box. The price jump is the only reason I took a star off. other than that no complaints the work is stellar.
The place is wonderful they have quality service and the owners very concerned with it being fixed properly and quickly thank you for all the hard work you do LTM truck
First.... dont be fooled by the web page. Must have taken them days to clean the place and stage it for pictures... I do mean stage - like bringing in special furniture for real estate sales. When I saw it, I asked my husband, Are you sure this is the place? Repair work is done outside. No shop to speak of. The most frustrating experience. We were stuck. Failure of old welds of 5th wheel pin box of hitch made trailer unsafe to pull. Only other shop in town first appointment was over a month out. LTM quoted 2 weeks - maybe a month to fix. We had no choice but to leave trailer in Coos Bay and drive home. The trailer sat exposed (they removed nose cover) in their yard for a month before any repair work began. When they finally said it was done six weeks later, we drove back (six hour trip) to pick it up only to find the lights didnt work (they were cut and not reconnected), the brakes on trailer froze, no vapor barrier around pin box and more. It will take days to diagnose all the little things that are wrong and repair them ourselves. Cost? It was three times as much as our local repair shop said it should cost based on photos. If you have any choice... ANY choice...... do not take your RV there. I had tears and stress for weeks. Only positive...once work began, Eve, office manager, sent photos. Pray that what we cant see is done properly.
We stopped here last minute on it way through the Oregon coastline. These guys fixed our RV fridge FAST and had us on our way in no time. They were so nice and accommodating. Best RV service Ive ever experienced.
Got us back on the road FAST when we stopped unannounced to have our RV fridge fixed. They were super nice and knowledgeable. Wish we had these guys back home in North Carolina!! A+ service all around.
Highway Robbery! How ANY business owner can feel good about price gouging desperate people is beyond me. Read my reviews on Google, Yelp and others to see that I enjoy giving high ratings and always appreciate good service. Based on my experience, there is no way that I could recommend LTM.To make a long story short, suffice to say that a relatively simple trailer stabilzer jack replacement ended up costing me $1,000.00 (yes, one THOUSAND dollars).Overpriced wouldve been $400, but I actually wouldve paid that without complaint given that it was a mobile call-out and I genuinely appreciated James, the old school mechanic that responded to my call for help. Hes an awesome old school dude that knows what hes doing and is friendly as heck. But watch out, that friendly talk with you, your neighbor and the parts people is all on the clock and itll cost ya WAY beyond what is appropriate.Word of advice: Go Elsewhere
Made appointment 5 days in advance. Called the morning of the appointment and was told can’t see me for 9-10 days. Not sorry for the screw-up. Just deal with it. “I don’t give a s***!” Poor customer service.
I was passing through Coos Bay when I started having issues with my trailer lights. Someone at a gas station recommended me to go to LTM. I called and they told me to head in. When I got there they immediately got to me and had me fixed in no time! There was a bit of an extra charge for what they call emergency repair because they had so many people ahead of me it would have taken a while to get me in, I was SO happy for this option as I needed to get back to the road as quick as possible and boy was I able to! Thank you again Lonie and LTM, very happy I was recommended to you!
We were traveling down the coast when our RV stabilizers started intermittently working. We were able to get them up and get over to Lonie’s. Lonie & his team were able to diagnose the first problem which required a new part. We camped locally until the part came in - they even offered to let us stay on property and provide water & electricity to us. They were communicative & very helpful & got us right in when the part arrived. After installing the part, stabilizers still would not come down. It took a couple more hours of diagnostics for Lonie & Philip to locate the loose wire deep within the hydraulics. Most repair shops would have written off this problem and said we needed a new computer board, but Lonie’s tenacity drove him to dig deeper and find the loose wire. We were happy to be on our way and even happier that Lonie was able to fix the problem. Thank you, LTM!! Highly recommend coming here for any of your repair needs, they were AWESOME!!
I traded in my old car for a new one, and they were so helpful and nice! I got a good deal on my new car and it runs great. They were all very nice and even followed up a couple days later to see how I liked it! Best service I have had from a dealership! :)
Straight forward and honest! I hope to not need any more repairs anytime soon but if I do, I will be coming back to you guys! Thank you again.
I have been a Camp Host for over 10 years and when one of my campers needed help with their RV I have in the past always recommended this company. But, I will never do it again due to how they treated my last camper. He sat there for 2 days towing $1100 to their shop then told him they WOULD NOT help him and to get it the hell out of their yard. Now he had to rent a car and call Mast Bro’s to tow him to another siteBad Bad customer service
Very helpful and speedy service.
I am so thankful you worked with my insurance for me, they can be such a pain! I greatly appreciate it!
Lonnie and his entire staff are truly good people. They helped my family tremendously. If you are looking for honest and reliable people. This is your only choice. They do not overcharge nor mislead you. Thanks guys! You earned forever customers.
Very profession and courteous.
If you want the job done right then this is the place to go! Hands down the most knowledgeable and customer friendly shop in Coos Bay, North Bend Oregon. Motor home body work is never easy and dealing with uninsured motorists claims less so, but they breezed through it and the repairs.Thank you for a wonderful job well done.
Honest mechanics.Diagnosed an issue with my sprinter van and gave me some good advice about dealing with the problem.
Real affordable towing . Easy to work with . And no matter the problem they will fix it .. I would recommend LTM.
Lonnie and his team are truly awsome and good people. I highly recommend them if u need any kind of work on your vehicles or trailers. He went above and beyond for us and im truly grateful!!!- larissa
Simply the BEST. Willing to help out on a Friday night. Even offered to move vehicles so we could park undercover and out of the rain. Offered the use of a car while our van was in for service. Husband and wife team. Caring, competent professionals. They deserve your business.
We stopped to ask about mobile service at the shop. They made an appointment for the next day. The technicians, John and Norm, were very knowledgeable, congenial and were willing to show my husband routine maintenance skills. The service provided was outstanding and the price reasonable.
Absolutely the worst work, most devious, over priced and horrible auto business in coos bay. Never take your vehicle or anything else here. They will not fix it the right way and will cause you to come back over and over again to get it fixed. Take it from me and dont make the mistake I did by trusting these people.
Our 40’ Tiffin has had endless problems with the electrical systems. Various shops have fixed these, but no one until the last stop at LTM stepped back and tested everything on the system. Lonnie and his wife are gracious helpful positive people. Mark our mechanic is a genius in the complicated world of RV electrical systems. 2 hours in the rain/sleet on Saturday late afternoon to resolve. We need more things done and are planning to come back specifically to have it done.
Words cannot express my deep appreciation for the work and service Lonie and his crew provide me. I believe they saved my life. I came in to have my brake system flushed following another mechanics advice after mybrakes had failed completely. Lonie took my RV for a drive and recommended taking a look at the brakes. They were cooked! Pieces crumbling off. The RV needed a full brake job. Also had a motor and transmission service air bags and sway bar bushings put in. It gave me my confidence back after being shaken by the NO brakes experience. I highly recommend this shop.Lonie and his mechanics are knowledgeable, honest and efficient. The bill came and it was more than reasonable.Thank you so much. I will never forget your kindness.
Mr. Sparks came to our shop on December 13, 2013, asking for some help with his headlight switch and wanted new wiper blades installed. He was told in the office what our hourly rate was, and signed the work order accepting responsibility. After we quickly repaired the 2 issues he came in for, he began adding more items to the work he wanted done, watching and approving the entire process.Mr. Sparks asked the technicians to repair his front heater, hook up his TV antenna, replace his kitchen water pump, look at his water heater, install the door on his heater and wire in his block heater switch.Mr. Sparks approved the price for the water pump we special-ordered for him, along with the freight charge for quick delivery.Mr. Sparks asked us to look at his water heater. After removal, we found the element had water damage, with water leaking into his electrical box. We replaced the element and relocated the electrical junction box to stop the water leakage and eliminate more problems for him in the future, all with his approval. He did not ask us to drain his water heater or we would have been happy to do it for him. The dirty water in it was not caused by anything our technicians did. After inspecting and repairing the water heater, we diagnosed the power issue and found an issue with the 220 circuit. Mr. Sparks did not wish for us to repair the issue at that time.We took two of our guys off other jobs to jump on his coach to get him down the road as soon as possible. He was allowed to stay in his coach the entire time he was here, and was hooked up to our electrical for his convenience. Mr. Sparks was well aware of our hourly charge, he supervised all the work and he approved each step as it was made.Mr. Sparks is being very untruthful and just wants some money back and some attention.
We came in with a generator that didnt work, and some other issues...we were very impressed with how communicative all staff and the owner was in working thru our challenges.Honest estimates for product and labor - we would recommend them to any one requiring their services.Fast service and workmanship! Much appreciated
Went to this place with a front end problem on a 27 year old motorhome. Ive had enough front end work done in my life to be expecting the worst. Instead they worked long and hard, charging less than expected. They have a genius of a mechanic, Mark, a wonderful analytical mind and very thorough. Seems the more complex the problem the better he likes it. Sure appreciated Mark, as well as Andys hard work. Two Thumbs Up LTM!!! We will return with our future RV repairs. Thanks
Ive been taking my Class C to Lonny and his crew for several years now. He has always treated me very fairly and the repairs to my rig have been done quickly and completely. Recently, my rig wouldnt start while in storage. They towed it in and discovered the fuel pump was shot. When I went to pick it up and hook up my car for the tow home, I couldnt get the right blinker on my car to work when hooked up to tow. Lonnie spent an hour on a Saturday morning diagnosing and repairing it for me and didnt charge me since Id just paid a substantial repair bill. He said, I know youll be back. And hes quite right - his is the only shop I will take my rig to for repairs.
We had a little accident with our trailer hitch and they were able to get us fixed up and on the road within an hour. Great service and very helpful! Thank you!!
Good morning.I just want to take the time to put a shout out to LTM TRUCK & RV REPAIR, Scott Slater, Lonie Baldridge and EXPERT TOWING.My sons car was broke down at a shop in Bandon. I was driving him to work and he was explaining to me about the diagnosis and the price. It didnt sound right to me. So I spoke with LTM, the Technition Scott Slater and EXPERT TOWING. Sharon Baldridge, owner of EXPERT TOWING, towed his car to LTM at a great afford price, quickly and efficiently. Thank you Sharon!Slater quickly diagnosed the issue with my sons car. Found the issue to be something simple, not what the other shop diagnosed at all, and owner of LTM Lonie Baldridge charged a very affordable fair price for the very efficient repairs. Thank you Slater and Lonie!!! The repairs at LTM were significantly less than what would have been at the other shop!My son is now on the road, driving safely and still has some money in his savings! And Im a happy mama!
We had the fuel pump in our motorhome quit on us at Bullard State Beach Park, and LTM sent a tow out to come pick us up promptly. It was already after hours by the time we arrived at the shop, so they ran an extension cord to our rig so we could camp outside and have power during the night. They got to work fast on it the following morning and by 1pm we were back on the road with a new fuel pump and spark plugs. The repair tech even took us for an extensive test drive just to double check that the rig was running fine before we left. Every single person we interacted with from their large staff was extremely courteous and professional, and you could tell that they really care about their customers and about doing high quality work. Prices were also reasonable, and they were completely transparent about diagnosis and repairs. If you want exceptional service, go to LTM! Thanks for everything, team!
Our experience with LTM Truck and RV repair can be summed up as reliable, honest, fair, knowledgable, experienced, and satisfactory RV/Bus repair and Towing. We melted a piston about 50 miles south of Coos Bay. We googled Bus Towing and found LTM right away. Lonnie B took great care of our bus. He provided a few options for us after we realized our engine needed to be rebuilt or replaced. LTM not only found us a great used engine to replace ours with, but they also took the time to do a customized install on a very old restored bus. He met the deadline we needed the bus back home, he offered to drive it halfway to us (over 500 miles north of his shop), he threw in two fresh-caught tuna, and gave us a good deal on our engine/install & towing. Thanks to Lonnie and Oily and the rest of LTM crew we are going to have many more years on the road with our big Bus.

We were on vacation driving to WA from CA when part of our camper fell off. I called about an hour before getting into Coos Bay they were able to help us when we arrived. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and took care of us quickly even though it was raining and they were busy. I cant say enough good about LTM.
Our Toyota 4runner broke down, leaving my lady & I stranded just outside of Powers in the rain. We called LTM for assistance & they were AWESOME! Sean was able to determine the alternator burnt up over the phone, he dispatched a tow truck to get us home & take the vehicle to the shop to change out the alternator. Everyone at LTM is AMAZING! Their customer service is outstanding, with knowledgeable & professional staff who go the extra mile to get you back on the road ASAP! Lonie Baldrige, the owner went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we had a vehicle before the end of the day so my girlfriend & I had transportation to enjoy our Thanksgiving. Huge thanks to all of you & Happy Holidays!
Our first trip after repairs to our RV, we found that the repairs done by another shop were not properly completed. We could not continue our trip without fixing the problem. I called LTM and arrived a short time later. Mike took our RV immediately and fixed the problem. He even corrected issues overlooked by the other repair shop and the price was less than I had previously paid for the same work. Thank you LTM and a special thank you to Mike. It isnt often that you find quality work for a reasonable price, but LTM nailed it!
LTM is an outstanding business that specializes in actually fixing problems efficiently and cheerfully. They have a superior knowledge of engines we’ve not witnessed *anywhere* in our vast travels. One usually dreads going to an unknown mechanic especially if you are a woman out of town who has little knowledge of the mechanical workings of a large older model RV (or mechanical workings in general!). We went to this business based on the good reviews and were surprised that this shop actually exceeded our expectations (unable to recall the last time that’s happened!). I’ve grown to almost expect the usual lying, badly mannered (downright rude at times) customer service and, worse yet, the absolute incompetency that runs rampant in current businesses today. Sometimes you feel like you are begging a shop to take your money. When we drove up to LTM and saw how many trucks and RVs they were working on we knew we were at the right place.LTM is the most:1. Professional2. Knowledgeable as in knowing just about everything to do with Trucks and RVs3. Great customer service (most companies wish they had ONE employee like these guys, they have a dozen!)4. Superior communication skills5. Integrity6. A great energy and camaraderie among the workers who are happy working even when doing demanding jobs. They will work with you every step of the way and not lie or fudge about the cost to you. They aren’t there to fleece you as so many untrustworthy mechanics are known to do. More importantly these people are *Specialists*. They are not guessing or pretending to know what they’re doing - when they don’t. You can go to your franchise places where they must not pay their folks much and it shows. These people aren’t just doing their job begrudgingly but actually Take Pride In Their Work - that’s not something you see these days and it was such a remarkable experience we had to take the time to write them up here. LTM has the holy trifecta that few businesses incorporate and that is Integrity, Knowledge and Courtesy. They actually empowered us and demonstrated how to check oil and the transmission fluids of the rig’s engine. All I can say is I’ve never left a mechanic happy and actually feeling SAFER knowing what great care true professionals took in resolving the issues of our RV. Our lives depend on it. You need something done correctly - this is your destination. For us it was a true pleasure doing business at LTM and will go out of our way to only have our RV serviced here from now on.
Lonie and his crew completely took care of us in a pinch. On a rainy Saturday our buddy in his 77 911 was dead in the water and after a few hours they got him back on the road. Great service, nice and fair. I figure these guys can fix anything. Thanks Lonie!
Called on Thursday about leaking oil on the rear axle on my 5th wheel. They got me in at noon Friday. Diagnosed problem and fixed it in about 15 minutes. Asked if they could replace the nonworking turn signal. Didnt have the same style lamp but had one that worked. Difficult to get out of but someone stopped there work to help me back out. Not the best looking place but those type of places seem to do the best work
Truly blessed to have found this place. We cant afford much and when our motorhome broke down we knew it would be a huge problem. Thankfully, our bill was extremely reasonable and the problem fixed. We cant thank you enough, Lonie!
My problematic RV went out on me (AGAIN!) and left me on the side of the road at almost midnight! I called LTM and they got a mechanic right out to me. I had to be towed in and I just knew it was going to break the bank. I ended up staying the night and they had hook-ups and everything for me! First thing in the morning they got my RV repaired and the price was VERY reasonable. I havent had an issue since! Thank you to everyone at LTM! I dont know what I would have done without you!
LTM truck shop charged me over $2000 for windshield wipers, clearing a blockage in a water line, and rewiring a headlight switch.$1,000 of the excessive charge was for removing and reinstalling the water heater. The problem with the water heater was not in the heater itself, but there was no voltage to the water heater. The technician obviously should have check the voltage before moving the water heater for a $1,000 charge . The voltage could have been easily checked at the water-heater breaker. Thats like spending $1,000 trying to repair a radio and find out it was not plugged in.The water heater was not drained or checked; so the water in the motorhome was filthy. In addition the charge of $1000 for removing and reinstalling a water heater is ridiculous. The whole process could be done in 1 hour.Another charge was for replacing a water pump. The water pump was not bad. The problem was a blocked line into the pump.Additional problems can be listed if requested.
Mobile RV Repair, or No Repair.....We had a heater go out in a 2014 5th Wheel Toy Hauler while on vacation. As my husband, a Ford Diesel Technician, tried to diagnose and repair as he could (he admits, he is not familiar with RV systems), he was able to test 3 switches in the system (all where good), as a friends friend diagnosed over the phone to a Circuit Board, we decided to get the 1st mobile RV repair guy out, a place that google came up with: LTM . They could come out at 3 pm, he showed up at 3:30 pm. His entire tool case included a Leatherman and multimeter. We gave the Trailer info and a furnace model number before he left the shop, but the parts he showed up with were Thermal Couplers, which do not fit a 2014 unit (they fit RVs built before 2000 or so). My husband had the furnace easily accessible (on a table), and explained all the electrical testing he did, and asked the guy what all else it could be. We got no answers, but by 5:05 PM, the guy agreed with my husband that the only thing it could be is the circuit board (The friends friend s phone diagnosis and the part that the paid repair guy did NOT bring with him). The price will be $190 for the part, but the place he recommended closed at 5 pm, so another night on vacation without heat. The guy charged us $405.00 to NOT fix the issue! He charged extra to stop and bring the parts that do not fit our unit. To be fair: the hourly rate is $140, and they were ~35 min away, and the heater did not act up for the 1st hour he was there, so we expected ~$200 - $280, to FIX the problem. The next morning, we went to an RV repair/parts store (google incorrectly said non-mobile) to buy a circuit board for $120 (not $190), and the owner/mobile repair guy had a strong understanding of RV heater systems. He did not want to sell us a circuit board until he heard the diagnosis steps taken. Within 5 minutes of conversation, he agreed a circuit board needed to be replace, nothing else would be the answer.I highly advise AGAINST this repair facility due to the technicians lack of knowledge of RV heater systems.
I recently experienced a transmission failure while vacationing on the Oregon Coast. Our VW Eurovan Camper was towed to LTM Truck & RV Repair where it was determined that the automatic transmission was shot. At my request, Lonie and his staff took on the nearly impossible task of converting the camper over to a manual transmission. I am truly grateful for a job well done!
If you’re needing any kind of truck, RV repair, body work, or an excellent RV technician look no further than these guys! They have specialists that know their S___#% in every field!! I know first hand and the personnel are the greatest! I’d drive across the country just to have them work on my stuff and I will. They also have a top notch tow service that’s run by a really “hot” lady! Thanks Lonie and Sharon!! We came in as customers and left as friends!! ~~ Goldie Edgeworth & BJ Gunn
I believe Mr. sparks was one of those people that wanted to beat the bill. unfortunately this forum gives him the opportunity to slander without merit. Ive known LTM and the owner operator to be honest hardworking and fair.
It took a woman to come tow mr out of the top og Agress Pass....when 3 other companies told AAA no. They went the extra mile to call around and find me someone to make my key for the car. EXCELLENT SERVICE!
I came in for an exhaust leak. They charged me $1100 and all they did was put JB weld on my manifold which of course just peels off. I have brought my vehicle back in and all they do is add more JB weld which doesnt even last an hour. Now I drive a dangerous vehicle that leaks into my drivers compartment since my leak is in the doghouse of my van. They say they were going to get the part and still have not months later. I highly recommend never wasting your money at this place. Despicable practices!
I dont know much about what makes our diesel-pusher motorhome work, but I do trust my instincts. I trust the professionals at LTM. Their service was excellent, and their rates were reasonable. Lots of diesel shops dont want to mess with motorhomes, but motorhomes are a major segment of LTMs business. Wed return to LTM without hesitation.
I wish I found LTM before I had to take out a loan to pay for my other repair bill, that didnt even fix the issue! Thank you again, Lonie! You made my reunion possible!
My 89 Bounder RV would not start after sitting in an rv park in Bandon, OR. for four days. After a few calls I found LTM and they came to my resuce. James came out in the pouring rain and had me up and running in no time. I returned about a month later and had my refrigerator serviced and my roof winterized too. They did a great job, thank you again.
The people here go above and beyond to help others get there needs met, and they really went out of there way to help us in our time of need
You made my trip back to Sacramento possible!
Thank you LTM for saving our vacation!
