I enjoy our Fred Meyers here. Honestly its one of my favorite places to shop in the Coos Bay/ North Bend area for multiple reasons.Yes the prices may be slightly higher than other places, but if you have  rewards and take into consideration quality over quantity I feel it evens out. Fred Meyers is overall my favorite because they have most everything I need and want. They have multiple departments here which I appreciate. Even though you may have to walk around more the steps are worth it. The employees in each department are wonderful and I truly appreciate how helpful and kind they are!!💯👏 The bathrooms are fairly clean, the store itself is decently clean and overall I have a great shopping experience everytime I go. Its very similar to Walmart but Fred Meyers does have a better selection of quality items in my oponion. Theres always plenty of parking. A place to charge electric cars and handicap accessible parking aswell. The only thing I feel could be better is the bathrooms could be bigger and the store could be less cluttered. Overall though it is a good store with good employees. 😊

Great folks. Good prices.One thing I dont like is how the store flows. Wasted steps for sure. They also should have the pharmacy in the front of the store for convenience.The handicap carts are not fully charged or bad batteries. They die halfway through shopping.

I was so pleased today to try this location for the first time. Clean and well stocked but I was more impressed with the customer service. One of the reps was more than willing to run around looking for one special brand of beer because they had moved it all. The prices were so good I can easily give up my monthly bicycle trip to Walmart. Plus the range of clothes, art supplies, and hardware are impressive! Thanks for the good experience Fred Meyer!

Excellent store. Their meat is great. Prices are a little high but a great selection. We went back 2 days later for a great sale on meat.

Since the beginning of 2020, I have been using the Fred Meyers online shopping app, and their curbside pick up. I am very impressed! Their staff do a wonderful job of selecting good produce, and I am always notified If an item is out-of-stock. I am offered an opportunity to select a substitution item, and their recommendations are pretty good. I have never had to wait more than 3 minutes for my groceries to be brought to my car once I have parked and called in. Kudos to Fred Meyers for offering our community an opportunity to stay safe during this pandemic. They have surely won a loyal customer in me.

My one and only experience here was terrible. My husband and I wore masks, per the store requirements and we were chastised and made fun of by staff and locals who did not wear a mask although it is required.Rude and flat out disrespectful staff regardless of the quality the store might or might not offer. We just hope Managment keeps this from deterring others before it does damage to the chain.

When I was there all staff and customers were wearing masks. Some prices on food items less expensive than all other stores, but somewhere more expensive. You just have to be aware of sale prices at all the stores. Check out was fast, personable and very friendly

Very busy, but okay. The produce dept is so much bigger and nicer than it used to be. The check out clerk was very pleasant and efficient. Parking was crowded, but workable.

Overall a fantastic place to shop. Not as crowded as other big box stores and generally always able to find what you might be looking for. Meat section is rather limited compared to other places, but the deals are there. Definitely will continue to shop here.

Outstanding service and the freshest produce department in the area. Prices are a tad high but you get compensated with a spotless store and friendly employees. Clean bathrooms.On trend for clothing, shoes and other apparel.Makeup is diverse and they always have the products I want.Wish they had more household items like curtains, but all around this is my favorite everything store in the area.I also highly recommend the click list for grocery pick up.

Always find what I cant find at other stores. Good prices. They undergoing a comprehensive remodel, but dont be alarmed. They seem to be very efficient in the transition.

I have been trying to find a store that offers food purchase delivery in Coos Bay in order to purchase food to be sent to a relative. I see the only delivery offered by Fred Meyer, as also by Safeway, is through instacart which purports free delivery. The delivery is not really free since the prices are substantially higher than shopping in the store. Also I see it does not have a forum to allow local residents to purchase food with ebt and then pay for the delivery. Shame on you Fred Meyer! You are participating in a delivery shopping scam and allowing your customers to be further gouged during this covid pandemic instead of rising to the occasion and offering a delivery service from your store that would hugely benefit the community and add employment opportunity!

Good store and a lot of nice women work there. I might be interested in working for Coos Bay Fred Meyer 25 Hours a week or more.

This is the store I do the majority of my shopping at and they always seem to be stocked up with the items I need. Before I started using the pick up option due to the Covid-19 pandemic a few of the employees who recognized me as a frequent shopper would always ask me how I was doing, if Im having a good day, etc., which was always nice. So to sum this up, they have a nice selection to choose from (although I wish they had the Sweet Earth Big Sur Breakfast burritos) and the employees are cool.

So I get online and order a tablet from this store. It says free pickup. I pay and get my receipt and am asked to choose a time slot to pick up, its for 7-8 am tomorrow . I call and ask do u have this item in stock they say yes. So I go to the store and show proof I paid and ask to get it . The sales clerk shakes his head and go to get a manager. She comes out and says they dont do that here and I would need to come at 7 am . So I come and guess what they cancelled the order. After I specifically told him dont do it. I used a virtual card to buy it and I didnt have the hard card w me . So basically I bought a hotel as I am from eugene to wait and receive it for nothing . Thanks morons .

Wonderful customer service! Good selection, prices, and rewards program. The only drawback is the dated facility which I understand is scheduled for a major remodel in 2018. I love the natural food section. Its well managed with a bulk food section. There are lots of Simple Truth (Kroger brand) organic options throughout the grocery section.

Love how big this store is so many options! They even have cute clothes but in my opinion the clothes are def too expensive!

Went yesterday for a few things, asked a worker in the pharmacy area where they have hand sanitizer? He replied very rudely “this is the country, you won’t find it here and walks away” I know this is a stressful time but people don’t need to be rude. It was a simple question.

This is an older Fred Meyers. The grocery section is compact but big. It is divided from the rest of the store. We were not really impressed by this location. Our checkout cashier was very friendly. He made up for the lack of any one else in the store not acknowledging us or asking if we needed help.

I get all my groceries here. The selection is great. If you eat organic especially this is the best option in town for a one stop shop at reasonable prices. I dont always find what I am looking for in clothing/home goods but its usually worth at least looking.

So much snow in driveway I couldnt enter.

Store is very old with an interesting layout. Prices on the high side without sales prices. Associates seem attentive to traffic but not too concerned with helping or at least offering. Restrooms are clean and accessible. Merchandising on the odd side. A few examples are as follows: endcap of Hershey in the medicinal section and broken up automotive in the front of the store.

I love this store. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They will walk you to a product your are shopping.The store is clean and well organized.The products available are clothing, hardware, garden, health and beauty, electronics, sports, furniture, hot deli and fresh bakery and a great assortment of groceries.

My shopping trip was very pleasant. Fortunately I went at a time that was in between the rush so I was in and out quickly. As usual, the employees were very pleasant. That is one thing that is always a constant when shopping at Fred Meyer.

The employees are very helpful. The health food and yarn (craft) departments were small before, and now they have downsized them. Those were the reasons I went. I was sorry to see that. It is still a great place to shop.

Went grocery shopping and found some great deals! they also had a sale on plants. we got a great price on some tulips.

Fred Myer used to be just another big chain for me, now it has a face of caring and customer service that really makes a difference. Thank you.

Like this store and always find what am looking for. Thats what really matters to me. Also had great experiences with the staff while shopping.Building is a bit old and outdated so is the rest of Coos Bay. Thats what makes it unique.

If someone is looking for Valentines right now they have all kinds plus lots of flowers. I checked out the new nutrition section, they have quite a bit larger area. I dont see any paint though since this is where the paint used to be.

A cashier named katelyn was super rude to me when all I was doing was trying to explain why I was a bottle of syrup. Just a short story because she looked at my weird. Cut me off and dismissed me. But me and my friend met a super nice lady I ( think her name was Janet) and she was awesome. She apologized for the other girl and was super sweet.

Always love coming to the local, friendly Fred Meyer. Abbey and Jeffery in the Electronics department are absolutely stellar sales associates. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend Fred Meyer give them some form of pay raise and or recognition.

My only complaint about the store was I waited and waited for about 13 minutes for somebody to come help me find a pair of shoes I picked up the phone and waited for assistance nobody answered twice walked to the pharmacy finally found somebody to have him call for the shoe department nobody showed up went back to pick up the little phone again after two attempts somebody finally answered and said they would call for somebody to come assist me still nobody showed up. I guess they didnt want my business so Im going somewhere else

Its a rare thing for me to give any Fred Meyer less than five full stars, because I absolutely love the franchise, however, this particular store is a disgrace. Its filthy, has a very poor layout and is severely dilapidated. The building, the land on which it stands are unfit to host such a prestigious store.I have absolutely no complaints against any staff employed here. They are top notch and to be commended for their charity in agreeing to work in such a sub standard building. If not for these great employees, I would not have been able to give this store even one full star.Please, Fred Meyer corporation - tear this building down and provide the citizens of Coos Bay with an adequate building in which to shop.

A quality store with a good selection of fresh vegetables, deli, just-baked bread, and wine. Its really a general merchandise store with a great grocery store enclosed.

First I would just like to share that I like to shop local and not particularly fond of Walmart. I chose Fred meyer for my black friday shopping. I purchased $193.00 worth of products including a fit bit watch. It came with a $20 gift card. Today I had to return a $10 product that was missing a piece. With my receipt in hand, was returned $8.96 with an explanation that because of the gift card, any product returned would be reduced by a percentage. I would understand this if I had returned the watch that had to be purchased in order to get the gift card but did not. Its not about the $1 its the principal of the matter. I will be rethinking any further purchases from Fred Meyer.

Was excited they take the empty soda stream cylinders in trade on a full one, saved 15.00. No one else in Coos Bay did. Thank you 💖

New atmosphere.

The are downsizing so much now there isnt much you buy. Did away with the fishing department. And the big mans clothes. And many more.

They were super nice and had really good customer service. The restrooms were clean and employees were easy to find and helpful.
