Don’t waste your time and money. Why is it impossible to get a hold of the store via phone? I made an apt for a trailer hitch installation online (so my card has already been charged), when I showed up for my apt they told me the parts weren’t in and that I should’ve called the store directly instead of making the apt online. They pushed me out a month and told me to call and check in closer to the postponed apt. I called many times the week leading up to my apt and never reached a human only ever got placed on hold forever. The apt was supposed to be two days ago. Someone finally answered the phone the following day (yesterday) and said the parts still aren’t in and when I asked for more info (can they track the shipment, how long does it normally take to get these parts etc.) they said their manager is the one with access to that info and they weren’t in yet. Tried calling multiple times yesterday and today and still getting placed on hold forever... I understand shipment of parts is out of their control, but my biggest problem is the conflicting info from the store of calling vs online but then doesn’t answer the phone. My card has already been charged ($400!!) for a service that has no promise of happening anytime soon, will be disputing the charge with my credit card company for a refund.

I always go mid day to avoid any kind of rush and always self dispatch my truck rental. I havent had any issues at this location with renting my truck on my phone. I dont have to deal with anyone at the counter ever but the staff is always swinging by asking if I need any help or anything.

These people were amazing, I had borrowed a car dolly earlier in the day from a friend who had also borrowed it from his friend and I was putting some magnetic lights on it when a U-haul guy showed up and said he heard that I was having lighting problems with a U-haul trailer and that I could just take my lights off and give him back his property. I said that it wasnt his, I had just borrowed it from a friend. he then proceeded to show me where it said property of U-haul. I said maybe they bought it from U-haul. He then pointed out that it said not for sale right below property of U-haul.. I said okay I understand, but I need to let the guy i borrowed it from know what was going on. The gentleman asked what I needed it for and I explained that I just dropped my travel trailer to go get my girlfriends car that had to be moved today. he asked me how long I would need it and I said about 4 hours.. he then made it possible by personaly renting me a different U-haul car dolly and I followed him to the coos bay store. Where he amazingly helped me out when I couldnt afford to rent one myself. The entire staff was amazing and its The nicest thing anyone has done for me during these trying covid-19 times .. truly amazing people and staff. It could have went a whole different direction and just been so much worse, but they were very understanding and real people. Love that store. Thanks everyone of you at the coos bay U-haul.

Scheduled to have a brake controller installed in our truck...Day of first appointment recieved a call a couple of hours before our appointment asking to reschedule because the installer didnt come in... OK rescheduled for next day...My wife drove the 25+ miles to their shop the next day only to be told their installer went home and they needed to reschedule.Tried to reschedule for next day... we could not due to other engagements.They rescheduled for two day out...My wife called me to fill me in on what was going on...Needless to say I was not happy and decided to choose another business to do the install for us.This is the second time the U-Haul in Coos Bay has done something like this when we have scheduled appointments... Guess we have learned our lesson... There wont be a third time...

Our experience here has been absolutely stellar. These folks are the definition of GREAT customer service. Absolutely recommend doing business with this team of friendly professionals.

Evening clerk Angela Thompson had zero customer service skills. Because she didnt know how to fulfill a cash transaction, she got irritated and threw our money and receipt on the counter and had a very salt attitude toward us for paying with cash. She desperately needs retrained and possibly removed from front desk responsibility. The day shift was great when we picked up the truck.

Second time in and very accommodating, good. People and, overnight drop box worked well

Michael helped me get my trailer lights working properly. I couldnt figure out what was wrong so, I stopped in and the guys got right on it. Very knowledgeable and courteous team. It turned out to be a little trickier issue than expected but they got me back on the road in no time.

After a long drive from Las Vegas to Coos Bay we unpacked our U-haul and went to return it. When I pulled into the lot and there was a giant Safari RV parked blocking the view of the return area. When I parked the U-haul and the car trailer some guy started yelling at me to move the U-haul over here, I went to give him the keys so he could move it and he gave me attitude and said that he is not returning it then. The last thing I need after moving a fully loaded U-haul and car trailer from Las Vegas is attitude from a customer service representative of the company, if you are going to block the return area from view the least you could do is put a sign out that is visible to people returning the rented vehicle and equipment. I usually have had good experiences with U-haul, this one was by far lacking any customer service and professionalism. I was exhausted and very tired from the trip and unloading the truck and trailer, I dont see how they couldnt have moved the truck for me and then also threaten to not return the vehicle. I will use a different company next time.

We made a reservation and the day before we was to pick up the trailer they rented it out it wouldnt have been so bad but it was a special trailer for motorcycle. They didnt even call us to let us know. If I could I wouldnt even give you a star at all. Poor way to run a business.

Everything about the experience was perfect!!! This is the place to go for all your moving and storage needs. Excellent staff.

I know my belongings are secure and clean in the U-Haul storage unit. They were also really helpful during my move with a van and trailer. Highly recommended.

I have always received prompt, courteous service during the many times Ive rented trucks and trailers from this U-Haul location, both at the time of rental and return.

Please step back out side we are not open till 7 is what the csr told me when I walked in the door that was open at 6:57 how ridiculous is that

Other than getting the size of equipment you need due to the lack of moving vans its a great 0lace with polite and friendly service.

Great customet services.Although I did have to wait, only a few minutes to fill propane tanks they were prompt on the service needed excellent customer care.
