BIG SHOUT OUT to Cannon and Dave.1. Cannon helped me select just the right bike- a Dual Sport 3. It came in early than expected and is perfect. Cannon had a lot of knowledge and was great explaining features and riding tips. He was also helpful in choosing the right accessories without trying to sell me the most expensive version of everything.2. Dave and Cannon were SUPER patient with helping my wife choose a new saddle. They changed it out on her bike, allowed her to test ride until she found the right one. Taught us how to adjust if we need to. Now she rides much more comfortably.I’ve done business at this shop since 2003. Service from people like Cannon and Dave is why. THANK YOU!
I just experienced great customer service from the Coppell store. I needed a pair of cold weather booties but none were on the shelf. Someone was helping me and thought it was possible they were still boxed up in the back of the store. A few minutes later he came out with just the right size. Thank you for your help.
David assembled my new fixie (which I bought online) from a pile of parts to a safe bike in 30 minutes and I was able to enjoy riding this weekend! The mechanics at this shop have a great attitude, work hard, and are willing to focus on what you need. Very knowledgeable and caring team there. The manager Phillip is friendly and accessible, normally standing somewhere in the front greeting customers. Really glad they’re in my neighborhood. See ya’ll again soon.
Just wanted to give my 2 cents on this shop. I brought my sons bike in for some repair on the back break. The staff was not only kind in helping fixe the issue while we waited, but also complement my sons invention that was taped to the bike. I was thoroughly impressed and will continue to go to this location for help as needed.
Dave is our go-to bike specialist! So knowledgeable and friendly. He has helped us with our cleat placement and bike fit better than anyone else in DFW! His suggestions have made our long rides much more enjoyable and efficient.Everyone else is friendly too :)

My experience was very positive. There was no high pressure to buy a product, they were very detailed in their descriptions in the products I was looking for and really knew the detail of each. Skip took time to explain what they were going to do with my bike, which parts needed to be replaced and why and the job was finished a day before they promised. All of the employees appear to really care about the company and product they sell and it comes through to the customer experience. Great job to everyone. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt at home. Mike talked to me about the different bikes I was thinking about. Mike never pushed me in any direction and asked me to take my time to think about which road bike I want. Mike kept in contact with me to let me know my bike was ready. When it was time to pick up my bike, Mike took his time to go over the entire bike, got me fitted, and advised me on my kit and accessories. Dont even bother worst customer service Ive seen in a while, Ordered a Marlin 7 back in may I knew it would be awhile was told October 21st anyway its a week out called today and oh no it got pushed back to Feb, Well I asked why wasnt I told this whenever the date got pushed back?. I got crickets. As far as Iam concerned if a customer is waiting on an item and the date gets shoved back the business should let the customer know. If I had known I could have found an alternative and no big deal but waiting this long for it and no communication, Theres no excuse in my book. I had a Trek when I was in high school and thats why I was set on a Trek again and willing to wait. All I got when I went in to get a refund was a shoulder shrug not hey sorry, someone should have notified you ect. So in my book Trek can go to hell.

I really am appreciative of the excellent customer service I received at this store even though technically, all I bought from them was a helmet. I knew it would be difficult getting the bike I wanted during the pandemic and bike shortage but the gentleman that helped me went the extra step of locating it at another store. He absolutely did not have to do that. It has been over a year since Ive been able to see my partner and this bike was a gift for him to make his brief return home special. As a resident of Coppell I thought I would stay local. Well that was not a good idea for this place. 1st, I am one that prefers to be done with the mask. If they want to wear a mask, then go ahead. If they as a company are concerned, take my temperature. After they insisted I wear a mask, I decided I will go elsewhere. That was an easy decision, because this place had very low inventory. The salesman told me there is a bike shortage. I drove to the bike mart in Richardson, and they had plenty of inventory. Not only did I buy a bike there, the price was great. This is America, I will stand for freedom. If the masks are that important, then I am sure Trek bikes will be closing soon.
They took there time and explained to me what they were doing and how they tweaked my bike (trek FX 2) that would fix the problem I was having with it even though they couldnt initially see it. Other shops are so busy they just speed through the process or skip minor steps. They actually care about going the extra mile for you!
Service at the Trek store is always professional. They are attentive to the customer needs and always willing to go above and beyond. I recommend this shop to all the riders I know.
Michael Gacki at the Coppell store is awesome! He truly cares for his customers and ensures you get what you need. As we discussed the bike I was looking at, he never once tried to push me to a higher priced model. He was quick to respond every time I had another question...usually with a come on in and Ill get you taken care of. He never pushed me to make a decision faster so he could make the sell. In the end, he got me what I needed and wanted and got my fit where it needed with my input. And he made a happy customer!
Cannon was very helpful. He had the bike ready to go when I arrived. He spent time going over the bike and the staff was friendly. The service center was very knowledgeable and the store had a nice selection of bikes and equipment.

I took my grandsons bike in this afternoon because the derailleur broke off at the frame. They immediately started work and they realized the chain was bent as well as the mounting bracket. Everything was out back as it should and adjusted in less than 15 minutes. Totally impressed!!!
Ask for Skip, let me tell you why.I’m convinced the mark of a trustworthy bike mechanic is that, if faced with the opportunity to sell me something I don’t need (but don’t need), the mechanic will tell me “you don’t need this.”Skip not only talked me out of a $60 part replacement, he showed me why getting that part replaced wasn’t necessary *after I asked for the piece.*He then spent 30 minutes answering my questions and showing me around my new bike. His going rate for labor ain’t cheap and he didn’t charge me a dime.Skip’s my guy, he should be your guy too. I sure as hell will be back.

He did his job suggesting add ons but wasn’t pushy about it, which made us ultimately purchase them with him instead of cheaper alternatives elsewhere. The staff was patient with our lack of knowledge as well as with our two toddlers in tow.
I’ve taken my bicycles here several times for various services. Each time I have taken my bikes here, the service has been very quick and always exceeded expectations. The guys that work here are all super helpful! I took both of my bicycles in today for minor maintenance and Rich did a complete checkup of my bike and got it back up and running in no time.The shop also takes very good COVID precautions.Very much recommended in all aspects!
They were awesome! Brought in my bike that I haven’t ridden in a few months that had some normal wear and tear and also needed a brake line repaired and they did it on the spot, took about 5 minutes, and then had it right back to me. Super nice people!

Lets just say Im going to think twice about going back to this place again. I brought in a bike to bring it back to life and my first visit was great. Unfortunately it broke down on my first ride a day later so I brought it back in and they had to order a wheel because they didnt have one the same size. I asked if it would cost me more since I had just paid to restore it and I was told they would take care of it but it was not true because they charged me again when I picked it up. Also, I asked both times if there were any storage fees if couldnt pick it up right away and I was told there arent however it says they have storage fees on the bottom of their receipts. Thankfully Ive been able to pick up right away.
My husband and I walked into this store due to the very high ratings across various platforms. We had a good impression due to all the raving reviews and after visiting, we now see why it is such a highly rated bike shop. We walked in and noticed the store was pretty bare but werent surprised due to covid. We did some researching on our own and had an idea of type of bike we wanted. We wanted to learn more about bikes and get fitted. We were greeted by Mike who was very kind, educational, and took his time with us. We appreciated all the information he shared and how we wasnt pushy with sales at all (I especially appreciated that). We chatted with him for a bit and then look around the shop. We decided to order two bikes and Mike told us it can take anywhere from 2-14 weeks. I appreciated his honesty with the timeline and how he told us that before ordering. One great thing about this shop is you get free lifetime bicycle adjustments for life - most shops in the Dallas area dont offer that. Thanks Mike for a fun bike shopping experience. We are excited to get our bikes!

I only went in there to get air in my tires and they adjusted everything in my new bike that I didnt even buy from their store. I would recommend them to anyone! They even adjusted my seats are handlebars to fit my height without me even sitting on it. Just all-around good service. Im going to recommend that they come with their business cards for their store for our next group ride in Irving.
Wow, this experience was beyond expectations. After visiting 4 different bike shops where no one wanted to give me the time of day, I walked in and was greeted by Mike. He was the first person to give me his undivided attention and asked thoughtful questions about how I wanted to use the bike and how I wanted to engage with my family . During most buying experiences with my husband, most people turn their attention to him to ask questions, not this time. Mike had patience with all of my questions and made sure I felt comfortable. Mike did a great job of discussing and educating me on the set up of my bike and the impact it was having on my ride. I was also in need of a new helmet and he quickly fitted me with a new lid. I appreciate the help and the changes we made to my bike have paid off so far after my 2 ensuing rides.

Mike and his staff are a breath of fresh air. With all that is going on around us, and the challenges of just getting into a bike shop these days, Mike and his staff took care of me from the moment I walked in. They gave me a quote to fix my son’s bike, and was able to get it done that same day, even though I told them they could keep it longer. Not only did they do what I needed to get done, they went above and beyond and did a few extra things at no charge. Helpful enough, low stock of supplies compared to other stores I like, service takes a week longer than estimated. My main reason for the review is these guys will never answer the phone and no voice mail offered. Forcing me to drive there & only to find they where out of stock on the kids bike I wanted. When I told them you never answering was my only complaint, he laughed and said people get so appalled that we don’t answer the phone🤷🏼♂️. Just think they need these kind of feedbacks to better their customer service.
Nice bicycle shop. The sales people knew what they were doing and took care of my order quickly. Prices were reasonable. I really liked that they are taking care of covied safety. They were screening people coming into the store and everybody is wearing a mask.
I just had a TOP NOTCH experience at Bicycles Plus! I recently had 2 spine surgeries and wanted a lightweight bicycle that would allow me to get some exercise and enjoy the outdoors like I used to. Michael was awesome at helping us compare several options and, considering the present covid19 challenges store owners are facing right now, I couldnt be more pleased with how the staff treated us. We went to this store for a birthday gift (New bike) during this epidemic. The rep that helped my son and I presented information to us based on his height and what he expected in a new bike. Unfortunately, there were no bikes available, however, they took my information and called me in a week or so with a bike available. We picked up the bike 48 hrs after it was received. Great customer service and we will definitely continue to visit this store for any bikes in the future!

Richard made buying our 5 year old daughter a bike an awesome experience. The bike was easy enough to find, but he was welcoming and showed us several ways to customize the bike by adding a pink basket and the coolest purple bell that was easy enough for her use on day one. He explained certain features of the bike, adjusted the seat, and perfectly attached the basket and bell to her bike. Thank you again, Richard!

Went into the store and the salesman came right over : showed me the bikes I had seen on line😆instantly I knew the one he showed me was going to be mine! Dont go to Bicycles Plus in Coppell. Every time I go to this store I am always given an attitude by the old man with the Curly hair. They also over charge so much for the repairs and sometimes their estimate isnt even accurate. I was told that my rear derailleur was bent even though it wasnt. They estimated to fix my bike around $200 while The Bike Shop in Richardson fixed it for only $50. It doesnt even seem like they have experience at all. I also ordered tires from this shop and my phone call was never answered or returned. I had to go back 3 or 4 times and wait in the long line to be told the same thing every time. I also assembled a new bike and they said that it would cost me $70 dollars for a reassembly and tuneup which I really felt was a ridiculous cost. Overall just dont go to this store even if it is close to where you live. The cost and rude attitude given is just not worth it.

Came to the store 6/6/20 during operating hours and a sign stated power out and they closed early. Returned 06/07/20 and many people were waiting outside as they were only handling customers one at a time over concerns for Covid virus. I asked the man who came to me and told him my wife and I wanted to purchase a bike, look around and get advice. He rudely responded with we dont have any bikes for you to look at and walked away without any explanation. We left and found another more helpful store in Richardson Texas.

I visited this bike shop for the first time. Others had gotten there before me and due to COVID-19 we were outside waiting to be helped. A worker, old man with white curly short hair, had such a poor attitude towards the customers and onto of that he seemed very inconvenienced when it came to helping people trying to figure out what they wanted and get them in and out quickly. It was terrible customer service; his attitude and tone were all to apparent that he didnt care and didnt want to help but that he had to.While waiting to be helped one gentlemen before me needed just his two tires aired up and the disgruntled worker took the bike inside came back out five minutes later and then said that airing up his tires was $10... TEN DOLLARS FOR AIR?! Im not sure if thats the usual but why in the world would you charge for air? Thats if people charged for water at restaurants. I could understand if the task was difficult but watching him it looked like it took little to no work to actually do it and on top of that 5 minutes.Poor customer service, rude attitude, and overall bad experience. As a young adult I could understand someone nearing my age having an attitude but an older gentleman was ridiculous.
The customer service here is exceptional!! They are so patient and always kind no matter how small the repair. They have informed me of what parts I need for my bike to be repaired and will be bringing it back as it’s a special order. They are reasonable with pricing and always so helpful. Great place!

I went to get my daughters bicycle chain fixed as it was coming off very often. I didnt buy it from here but these guys were kind enough to fix it for us for free. These guys are awesome.
These guys know bikes! Better yet, theyre clearly passionate about what they do. Michael even stopped his work commute to give me some much appreciated tips that made my bike ergonomics much more comfortable. For new bikes or service, I stick with these guys whenever I can.

This place is great! I bought my first bike in over 30 years from them. They gave me good advice on getting an entry level bike and the post sales service is reasonably priced (or free) and fast. Went in today saying my rear wheel was making a weird sound. Technician put it on rack, made some adjustments and test rode it. Told me to try it out in the parking lot. I went out to try it and it was still doing it, but he had followed me out and heard it. He knew what the issue was right away and spent 15 minutes re-tensioning all the spokes. Bike rides great and quiet and it cost me nothing because I had bought the bike there. They may not be the cheapest option compared to big stores, but they stand behind their products and offer discounts on parts if you bought it there. Amazing service. I recommend them to all my friends talking about getting a new bike.
