Came here for brunch this morning for the first time! Our server was polite and attentive. The place has that nostalgic brunch/diner atmosphere. Coffee was hot and freshly made, the food was delicious and reasonably priced! I had the Hearty Breakfast, the pancakes were wildly tasty, the grits were close to room temperature and noticeably a bit old. I didn’t brother to complain about it in person, and otherwise this place deserves 5 stars!
Stopped by for a quick breakfast and it was delicious!Food was really tasty, good variety of breakfast choices! Only one waiter was on a duty but customer service was still good!Place is big itself, but when we ate there were only two tables taken including ours, which felt great!Prices are moderate. Coffee was really good! I liked the way they served a milk for coffee.There is no parking by the Cafe. However we found a meter parking available around the corner of the Cafe.
Love this spot. Not too many Sat morning breakfast places around downtown, so having an awesome one certainly makes the difference. Fun and friendly staff. You would almost mistake this place for a southern breakfast joint they are so friendly. Keep up the good work and great food!
That was great! I had the chicken and waffles. Chicken had a little spice and good compliment to the strawberries and maple syrup. My wife had the veggie omelet and a blueberry pancake. They were fantastic as well. Definitely worth the trip and well be back again. Might go for lunch next time. :)
Excellent food at very reasonable prices!! The service was also very, very good as everyone was very friendly and helpful!! I couldn’t believe how fast I was served, especially on a busy Sunday morning!!

I wanted to try something new this morning and I definitely made the right call! The manager and the staff were super friendly and quick. I had just walked in when I was greeted and taken to a table. I definitely liked the fact that they decided to go electronic with their menu instead of printing a ton of menus on paper just to throw away after each guest (Im a fan of saving trees, lol). The food was absolutely delicious and the price was perfect! Peel the pic below of the meat lovers breakfast.
How this place has a 4.5 star rating is beyond me. We called ahead and were told that there was no wait. When we got there we were told that was a 20 minute wait. Fine, except that it actually turned out to be over an hour wait. During that time, we watched them lose track of *multiple* parties seating requests. Nothing but chaos and confusion at the host stand. Once we were finally seated, service was painfully slow.After all that, they still would have eked out a three-star rating if the food had been good, but it was mediocre at best. The eggs and pancakes were fine, but the country fried steak was worse than it is at any of the major chain establishments, the home fries were of microwave dinner quality, and the avocado toast was practically inedible.All in all this terrible breakfast experience wasted 2 1/2 hours of my life that I am never getting back.
Went here for lunch. Had their famous chicken salad sandwich. It was pretty good but not the best Ive had, thus minus the one star. Jim, our server, was 5 star.

The food is nothing special. I’m giving it a one star because of the service. My waiter sat at the bar at 9am and ate her breakfast instead of doing her job. “Whenever your ready” ( for taking the check) then she proceeded to chow down like a pig on a farm for 15 minutes.
SunnyStreet is typically my go-to breakfast place. Ive had many great meals at this location, however unfortunately the last 2 have not been up to standard. Wait staff were fine, but I think the kitchen is rushing too much. Last week I ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes and side of bacon and both were over-done. This week I ordered the country omelette and asked for no peppers and was given an omelette with peppers. Its not like the place was at capacity and had a huge wait, so Im not sure I understand the rush. I am perfectly okay with the kitchen staff taking a couple extra minutes to ensure they get the order right.
Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. We are here for our companies annual convention, and we caught them off guard the first day. But the next day they were ready, doubled the staff and ready for all.I ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes, and they were incredibly delicious! 2 things I love, but never though to combine.They also use locally sourced maple syrup, fantastic! Go and check them out! Sabrina was awesome!

Best chicken sandwich around, yes it gives CFA and Shake Shack a run for their money. Crispy, right amount of heat, great slaw and sauces. Charles is also the man, a real credit to this establishment.
Service as great, though a little disorganized coming in the door- staff sitting around the bar chatting. Food was solid, pancakes were a little overcooked, but otherwise good.
Honestly a little disappointed, all the reviews say this place is excellent. Came to check it out and left dumbfounded. We sat down and everything was good until we tried the coffee. It was very burnt and just gross. We tried to save it with cream and sugar but couldnt make it better. The next issue we had was with the food. I had the french toast and it was ok, nothing special but my friend had the omelette and it came out cold as ice. He had it over easy and that made it even worse. We also did not receive any napkins besides the ones our silverware came in.
We came from out of town and they were the only place that would accommodate us with our very tiny dog. We sat in the back and the dog was hit with anyone who walked by. The food was delicious but that cold brew coffee was amazing. Thanks for showing true hospitality!

Sunny street is my favorite cafe. The food is good, there are gluten-free options, and everybody is always very nice and attentive.
Delicious friendly safe wonderful breakfast... A rare treat for me to relax and unwind. Music was a tad loud for my state of mind but for others I am sure it was fine.
The food is very mediocre. The portions are decent and the service is average. A few mistakes were made with the order and my daughters hot chocolate tasted like soap. Her smoothie was not as cold and not as thick as I like We had to ask for salt, pepper, ketchup and strawd for our drinks. Our server also brought our check just as we started eating our food, which I took as him rushing us to leave. I also sat with and empty water glass for ten minutes. It was morning and the establishment was not very busy. But the server was nice with a great personality.

Stopped in with a party of six people, one guest was in a wheelchair. The ramp on the side of the building brought us right in to the front door. We were greeted warmly and our table was set up for us quickly. The wheelchair was accommodated with out any problem. We ordered breakfasts and lunches and outside of them being sold out of soup :( everything was great.Service was good and attentive and food was good and filling on a cold day.
Amazing food great service. Mike was our server and he was very pleasant and attentive to the table at all times. Would send friends and family to here if ever visiting or just passing through.
Just tried this place for the first time via door dash. Although the food was cold (not the restaurants fault) the food was absolutely delicious!! I highly recommend the chicken and waffles!! The seasoning on the chicken, the hot sauce they packed with it, and the waffle. It was great!! Also had the caramel cold brew! Sooooo good!

Customer service was great, service was fast, but the food was not good at all. My boyfriends pancakes were burnt & our eggs had a funny taste to them. I left a tip for good customer service but this is my first & last time dining here.
The best Pancakes Ive ever had, got a recommendation from a front desk man claiming that Sunny Street Café was the best breakfast place in Columbus and just wow it really blew me away. 10/10 I definitely intend to go there next time Im in Columbus!

Horrible experience. Don’t come here unless you want to wait over an hour and twenty minutes for your food. They prioritize door dash/Uber eats over the customers in the cafe. They didn’t offer a discount nor did my food come out right. You would think with 90 minutes to cook the food it would come out correctly and without HAIR in it.

My baby and I went there for breakfast!! We both had the Cinnamon Roll pancakes!! Our waiter was Steve, he had wonderful customer service and was joking around with us!! We will be coming back soon!! Nicole is great waiteress as well, we had her prior to today!! 🤗 Thank you Nicole and Steve for your great customer service, we need this!!The only complaint I have is that the heavy sit lady, seen 5 different groups waiting. She didnt clean her tables.

Not sure how long Sunny St Cafe has been in business, but after today its my favorite breakfast place! Ive been coming to downtown Columbus off and on four five years and never knew of SsC. Food was really good. Beats hotel food and prices by a mile!!! As a breakfast person who eat out a lot, I rate SsC with top marks. Will eat there tomorrow morning and anytime Im staying downtown.
Service was good. Food was good. The only criticism I would have is that every time the waiter picked up my coffee cup to refill my coffee he put his hand around the body of the cup and each time his fingers touched the rim where my mouth would have to go. Why couldnt he just leave the cup on the table and pour the coffee into the cup? Why did he have to pick up my coffee cup every time?

Ordered the Loaded hash browns, a pancake and Carmel ice coffee. Potatoes and Gravy was very bland with no flavor, toast was served as warm bread. Pancake was decent. Should consider more sustainable packaging for to go orders. Ice coffee was delicious and ice cubes were made of coffee which was great. Food needs more character and flavor if you are gonna survive in Columbus aka Flavortown.

I cant begin to explain how good the eggs benedict is here. They cook the eggs the old-fashioned way and you can tell that they really know what they are doing!!! This place may not have the best parking situation. But worth a stop none the less !!!

This place is a joke they have no clue what’s going on in the breakfast place I called and they said they had plenty of open seat 2 minutes later and 8 dollars in parking fees I walk in and they tellMe a 30 min wait and I told them I just called and they don’t care very frustrated just wanted some good breakfast for my family

I liked the spot this cafe was in. Being new to town I found parking right away and we walked a few blocks and took in the city. Our server was exceptional! Service was quick, delicious and filling :) We will be visiting again!

Great Breakfast place. We ended up coming here everyday during our stay in Columbus. The staff was really nice and enjoyed chatting with them. The food was also very good. everything always came out perfect. When we come to Columbus, we will be back again for breakfast.

Food selection and taste was excellent. Our server Nicole was a dream.. The coffee was a big let down and the sausage gravy was a bit chalky. Overall, a good bang for the buck.

The waiter was very accommodating for our work group of six, moving a table over, and being prompt with adding place settings. He was also helpful when ordering. The food drew appreciative comments all round, and the coffee was very good - $2.69, but with as many refills as desired. I found it a little pricey for breakfast, but Im sure its in line with any city downtown.
A new favorite in arena district! Breakfast or lunch anytime theyre open, and everyones meal was very good. We went during a slow time, so the food came out really quickly. Im not sure how it is when they are busy. The whole staff was friendly. Only downfall is that they are only open until 2:30pm.

I wish I lived in Columbus so I could go here once a week! Lexus was INCREDIBLE! She was a delight! She treated us like family and it turned a good meal into a fantastic meal! I would tell everyone to go there!
